request Pony OC help

The picture im using was made on a pony generator, and im just looking for something a little different is all, I would be grateful if anyone could do this for me! If you need a reference:

 

 

 

My OC is also a male pony.

 

As for the cutie mark? I don't have one but can it be a video game controller can be any controller.

Okay a few things to point out first the cutie mark, now I just went with a 360 controller that I modified to look like a generic controller because I felt like adding in a brand name controller wasn't the right choice though if you come up with a preferred controller I can simply change it to that no problem there. Secondly I hope the levitating controller and magic aura are okay in look and colour, it was my first time doing anything with a magic aura so I tried my best to make it look like it was from MLP still need practice on that feature. Finally making it look like he was playing a game on a t.v I wasn't sure I could implement that into the pic but the glare on the bottom right kinda looks like the light from a t.v and without actually putting a t.v in I think that's about as good as it gets for me. 

 

With that said if you have any changes please let me know and I'd be happy to change them for you.

As for your question the blurred shading is done in Photoshop CS 5.1 with airbrushing, smudging, blurring...ect.
