List of existing provinces in Kartrin.
Central Province of Stoneheart. -Lord Potentate Raining Hearts.
Province of Sparkshill. -Councilor Dirt Spells
Province of Fillyrivers. -Councilor Starlight Violet.
Province of Scalemount. -Councilor Carrot Tool.
Province of Boilport -Councilor Shady Storm

Environment:
Located to the South-east of Vaporia and north of the Scorched Lands.

Kartrin is covered in three large River Valleys and bountiful forests that surround them, the abundance of Timber has been useful as long as the Dragon's are avoided. The Environment itself is mostly left alone outside of major Industry hot spot's or around the central city of Stoneheart where the population continues to grow unhindered by the dangers outside their walls.

Two Primary Resources:
Timber & Iron

Timber:
The Timber is gathered from the vast forests that cover the Dominion, it is used in many of the products that the various businesses create and could become a major trade product if the Dominion were to find a buyer.

Iron:
The Iron comes mostly from Boilport and Sparkshill where Iron Mines are maintained, it is constantly used for military efforts against the Dragons but has seen some use in more mundane projects.

Two Scarce Resources:
Stone & Grapes

Stone:
The Stone comes directly from Stoneheart and the Quarry it resides on. While the stone was originally abundant in the past, it's recent increased use has left the Quarry drained. The majority of stone was used to construct important buildings, walls or in one battle against a dragon it was used as a projectile.

Grapes:
The province of Singahoof was once a major wine producer for the Dominion, but after a devastating attack by the Dragons it has been thus far unable to recreate the luxury of fresh grapes or wine for the ponies of Kartrin.

General Race Composition:
47% Earth Pony, 41% Unicorn, 11% Pegasus, 1% Gryphon.
Earth & Unicorn Ponies, the few Pegasus are not trusted and discriminated against. Gryphon's are rarely seen and Changelings are a Filly's myth.

General Race Description:
The Ponies generally go without clothing outside of accessories, but the Councilor's usually wear more formal clothing if they have the personal funds to get them.
As the saying goes clothing makes the Pony and the Councilor's generally believe it.
Ponies of Kartrin are similar to those in Equestria but a bit skinnier with less fur due to a far more dangerous environment with the Dragons conducting their raids.

General Race Personality:
As noted above, Unicorns and Earth Ponies are welcomed as equals into the nation while Pegasus are disliked due to recent events. Gryphon's are welcomed when they do visit but some Kartrin citizens distrust them simply because they are similar to Pegasus.
Kartrin ponies are ambitions but friendly, they see potential in cooperating with each other and outsiders to achieve great results in Science or Industry.

Two Primary Nation Traits:
Industrious & Protective
The ponies of Kartrin are natural merchants and enjoy trade with one another or with the occasional trade merchant who passes by. A recent rise in the Industrial sense had led to a burst of wealth that attracted the Dragons.
The constant skirmishes between the two have led to a desire to protect what they have created and the scandal with the Pegasus has only furthered this to more extreme levels.

Culture and Description:
The ponies of Kartrin believe that their ancestors are able to guide them from the afterlife and protect them from harm. They construct village or town Shrine-Graveyards where you may pay respect to your ancestors and seek their guidance. So far they do not believe in any God-like beings.
In the past ponies in the region originally worshiped the Dragons, this tradition died out shortly before the Confederacy was founded and is unlikely to be revived anytime soon. This mandatory draft has created a culture of duty in many of the ponies, but it's full effects remain to be seen.
Seeking to rise through the ranks of provincial guard has resulted in many well-trained soldiers.
As contact with other nations is limited, Kartrin has mostly relied on it's own language and use hand-signals or writing to communicate with foreigners.

Presently each province requires that 15% of it's population join the Town guard for basic training, with increasing incentives to remain in the Guard so they will help protect their friends and family. Stoneheart, Scalemount, and Singahoof remain at 10% or less.
This mandatory draft has created a culture of duty in many of the ponies, but it's full effects remain to be seen.

Ambition is encouraged within the society and has resulted in a productive lifestyle for most ponies, while this occasionally causes problems it is seen as a positive thing by the general public.

Buildings:
Originally the ponies of Kartrin built their society out of the forests around them, but due to the recent rise of Dragon Raids many have turned to creating stone buildings or portable homes for a quick getaway. Stoneheart; as it's name implies; is made mostly out of stone as it was originally built around a massive Quarry that now holds the Council Hall and other important buildings.
Foreign Policy:
Kartrin is generally welcoming of outsiders but prefers to keep to itself. While the Confederacy does not have an official stance on trade it is common for individual provinces to form their own trade treaties with outsiders.
While a war with another nation has not happened(outside of the Changeling Incident) each Province is expected to help each other if such an event were to occur.
History:
Formation of the Confederacy:
Originally the alliance was formed as a way to standardize trade and collaborate protection for the trade routes between the towns of the region, but distance and lack of a formal currency prevented any real use of the Confederacy.

Eventually the Council was formed and the 2nd Lord Potentate issued a number of economic reforms that resulted in a rise of living standards and general riches for everypony.

The Dragon Raids begin:
This rise of prosperity would prove to be a problem later on. Only a few short months after Kartrin had gained it's wealth did the Dragons turn their attention to the land and began to take what was not rightfully theirs.

As the war between Kartrin and the Dragon Hordes continued, more and more power was given to elected Lord Potentate's to combat this threat. Eventually one went to far and attempted to force the Unicorns and Earth Ponies out of Stoneheart to make room for every Pegasus in Kartrin. This lead to a minor civil war that ended with that current Lord Potentate's death. Said fallen Lord was revealed to be in an alliance with the Pegasus and was a Changeling. This would skewer Kartrin pony views on Changelings in a negative way for a long time.
The Council was given back part of it's power and remains a major influence on each elected Lord.

Present Day and the Cutie Pox Outbreak:
The recently elected Lord Potentate known as Raining Hearts managed to establish an informal peace treaty with some of the Dragons; this gained public support for his rule and lessened the number of Dragon incidents that occurred in Kartrin. The actual events that lead to this treaty are currently unknown.

Rumors of a Cutie Pox outbreak in Fillyrivers have begun and Raining Hearts took a pro-active stance by declaring the Provincial borders of Fillyrivers secured until further notice.
So far Lord Hearts has taken no motion to lessen the tension between the Earth/Unicorn ponies and Pegasus.

Quality of Life:
The majority of ponies have freedom to do what they wish with their time outside of their work-contracts. While the Councilors can't say for certain; it is believed that the average citizen is content with their life as long as a Dragon isn't trying to end it.
Outsiders will point out that those living in Stoneheart are better off due to the protection that their walls and magic bring them, This is commonly dismissed as those living in the River Valleys are considered far safer as full grown dragons can not attack them without risk of being stuck between the cliffs and killed by the ponies below.
Historian's have estimated that there is close to 119,348 ponies in Kartrin, though some believe the number to be smaller.
To avoid a public backlash, no Lord Potentate has attempted a nation-wide count and the Council has been equally unwilling.
Military Power: (What weapons, branches of military, etc.)
The Present day military of Kartrin is mostly made of up community and/or caravan guards. While there has been a recent push by the Council to establish a formal military, the issue has not become a major issue beyond the dragon problem.

Presently each province requires that at least 12% of it's population join the Town guard for basic training, with increasing incentives to remain in the Guard so they will help protect their friends and family. Stoneheart, Scalemount, and Singahoof remain at 10% or less.

Millitary Power:


Each province maintains three overall military forces,
The Guard:
The Guard acts as the overall peacekeeping/military forces and also works with the communities as the provincial police ponies.
Generally the Guard stays near or in the major town/city of the province with small detachments in outlying areas. In times of war and conflict the guard is usually tasked with keeping the populace safe or defending the Archers or Catapults.

The Rangers
The Rangers are usually seen during a Dragon raid or working with the CT's to ensure a safe haven from danger in the cities and major towns.
While it is not uncommon to see a Ranger assisting in police or peacekeeping efforts alongside some of the Guard it is not part of their official duties and they are usual volunteers.

The 'Catapult Teams'(AKA: Defensive Fortification and Siege Teams)
Maintaining and operating the ballistics's or catapult's on the field or along a city wall, in heavy rain or under the beating sun. It's all in a CT's Day job as they maintain a pivotal role in the Dominion's defensive or offensive capabilities. They are also capable of constructing temporary defensive fortifications on the battlefield such as a trench or fox-hole when needed.
A majority of CT soldiers are drawn from the engineers or metal-workers or even creative inventors who sign up for service. Each Team is trained in utilizing whatever is nearby in their cause and can be pulled from working a Catapult to start fixing a ballista if ordered too.

The Council Protectors
Councilor Protectors are volunteers from the Rangers and Guard to defend the Council and Lord Potentate himself when they are in danger. The requirements to be asked to join are rather high so it is unlikely for the common soldiers to join their ranks.

Each of them are given special training to maintain a wide level of skills and basic CT knowledge if and when required to use those devices. Rumors say that Protectors also act as a spy network for the Council to keep an eye on the ground level, a recent addition to these rumors suggest that the Protectors will be used as assassins once contact with outside nations is established. But those are just rumors after all.

Estimates have put the Protectors numbers at around 190; give or take a few. This is due to the Council's refusal to name their Protectors and while it is possible to reqonize one by face, name, or voice there is no official record of who becomes a Protector or if they ever leave it's service.

General Race Composition: Earth ponies (60%) and Non-Magical Unicorns (40%). The total population numbers ,14,000,000 (of which 5,000,000 adult males).
General Race Description: (please look up 17-18century fashion for clothing), Most ponies have they’re fur in dark or pale colors (white, brown, grey, etc.) due to isolationism from distant nations. Due to its positioning, the population is used to cold and warm conditions but would find it hard to cope to extreme conditions. The majority of ponies living in the North-Western region are slightly taller than usual.
General Race Personality: Due to a high diversity in social classes, the personality of citizens differs from individual to individual but every single citizen has a immense sense of patriotism and most are usually suspicious of foreigners.
Two Primary Nation Traits: -Warlike, the Ponssians have always supported the military and have
admired war. Having a long history of conflicts with their neighbors the Ponssian has grown into a prestigious political power.
-Industrious, following the discovery of enormous coal deposits, the Ponssian government has encouraged industrialization and urbanization, leading to a deficit in agriculture.
Culture and Description: A non-magical society, magic was seen as a capital offence or heresy and was usually punished via torture or death; magic has been outlawed in the North-West for about 2 centuries as ponies result to a new idea, science and rationalism. All knowladge of magic has been lost and, despite efforts to re-bring this old tradition, the goverment had no success so far. The Ponssians follow the belief of a superior power creating the world (A dominant belief in the North-West) which has been the cause of many wars (crusades and genocides in the region. None of the citizens of Ponssia have the ability to perform magic but make up for it through hard work. They are a very militaristic society which would almost always follow the commands of its government, with a belief in racial superiority against distant, less advanced civilizations.
Buildings: Mostly constructed of stone and bricks (again 17-18th century Europe) and wood, houses are mostly tightly packed into huge cities or towns. Villages are sparse but well provisioned with vital goods such as imported food, fresh water and firewood. Huge stone citadels and forts are constructed along the nation’s border.
Foreign Policy: Following a period of constant warfare and expansionism, doubling Ponssia’s size, the nation has resorted to a more isolationist policy fortifying its position and limiting diplomatic contact. Even so, the government is keen on finding new trading partners to feed the country’s growing population. After securing the mainland, Ponssian eyes turned towards distant lands, in a dream to create a colonial empire that would supply the nation with all its needs.
History: After years of disease, droughts and starvation, the earth-ponies have turned on the pegasi and unicorns, blaming the pegasi for the droughts and unicorns for disease. The religious heads didn’t ease the situation by blaming them for upsetting “The Creator”. Civil war raged throughout the entire North-West and all pegasi were killed resulting in a total genocide. Many unicorns started siding with the earth ponies and fought more powerful unicorns until they were either killed or forced to flee. Since the no magic has been present in the North-West as unicorns forgot the old ways of magic using their horn as nothing else than a tool. Those still found conjuring magic were tortured and killed, usually via stake burning, resulting in famous witch-hunts. In one terrible night 10,000 unicorns accused of using magic were burned in a forest of flames. Since then the Popal Church had a strict rule over the North-West, making sure that no magic was ever used again.
Following the collapse of an ancient empire, the North-West has consisted of many city-states or confederations warring each other. Slowly defeating and annexing its defeated neighbors, a state called Braneighburg became a dominant power in the area. Following a union between the two most prominent states in the area, Poniernia and Braneighburg, the nation of Ponssia was created, having undisputed power in the area. Since then, the nation’s values were set on militarism and discipline. Since its foundation, Ponssia has seen only 30 years of peace, therefore always preparing for war.
Quality of Life: Following a successful social plan led by King Fredbuck the III, no citizen of Ponssia has lived in poverty. Every citizen has access to food and water and vital needs. The aristocracy, found in the more prominent cities enjoys luxury needs such as expensive meals, silk clothes etc…
Military Power: The Ponssian military is the most disciplined force in the North-West, a Ponssian soldier is taught to fear desertion more than death in order to ensure top performance on the battlefield. A Ponssian regiment would never retreat without orders. After a visit in Ponssia, a famous North-Western writer said: “Where most states own an army, the Ponssian army owns a state”. In the last century, the Ponssian army grew in influence and support over the population. The army now controls most aspects of civilian life, from simple laws to sleeping hours. Stallions are taught to use weapons from birth in order to ensure future soldiers for the ranks. Generals and military advisors hold high positions in the government and are given permission to mobilize the entire male population if needed. Using modern military technology such as breech-loaded rifles with socket bayonets, rifled-cannons and howitzers, the Ponssian military is a formidable force. The generals are taught in a prestigious university where they learn the deadliest and most efficient tactics invented by North-Western strategists. The troops are taught things like fire by rank and drilled daily to prefect their abilities.

Government Type: dictatorship
Leader and their Title: Blackfire (General Blackfire)
Symbol/flag: a Pegasus in front of the sun and moon
Environment: south west of canterlot. Majority of city is in the clouds but has some land under it for its earth and unicorn citizens. Experiences mild winters and summers. Crops have a growing season in the spring though the summer and a little less in the fall. Has a major river running around the boundary of its land border. Little forests.
Two Primary Resources: primary crops and rainbow essence used in many manufactured goods.
Scarce resources: Gems and lumber
General Race Composition: mainly comprises of Pegasus in the clouds. But also has earth and unicorn’s working the farms and military of their ground forces.
General Race Description: Pegasus’s are generally the strong and fit because off there location and strong power earth pony’s and unicorns are not as strong but can still put up a decent fight and work productively
General Race Personality: Pegasus race are usually not fond of newcomers except when they are Pegasus fit and able to work in the factory’s or military. the earth and unicorns usually fond of having newcomers that are fit to help them work but shuns unfit pony’s
2 Primary Nation Traits: Industries and warlike
Culture and Description: the government believes that Pegasus are the superior race and believe others should work under them. That is why they live in the clouds while everypony else in stuck on the ground. They guard their borders heavily.
Buildings: buildings in the clouds are mainly made out of heavily fortified Clouds with a mixture of rainbow essence. The houses down on the ground are made out of the wood that was cleared out for farms when they first arrived.
History of the nation: Blackfire’s Dad (general Blackwing) had built this nation on the belief of Pegasus superiority and all others below. He made the earth and unicorn’s work down on the farms below and make sure all Pegasus were feed before anypony else. They vowed never to hurt other Pegasus unless they attacked first. Then when Blackfire’s dad past and Blackfire took charge she started to be more Levant and allowing earth pony’s and unicorns a little more freedom but still following under the Pegasus superiority and is only willing to let other earth and unicorns in is if they are fit to work as unhealthiness is not tolerated in there nation among the Earth and Unicorn pony’s
Foreign policy:befriend all those who follow or believe that Pegasus are the best race and put the other ones in the places
Quality of life:life is really good for the Pegasus up in the air but for the ponys on the ground I is really crappy unless they are in the military which is a slight upgrade other than that the ground ponys are having to fight each other for food on occasions.
Military power:has 15000 aviator ponys, 5500 ground tactical troops(unicorns), 10000 light infantry(earth) ,1000 heavy infantry(earth), 2000 rolling cannon troops(3 unicorn troops at each cannon) 70 flet of ships with 100 ponys aboard each.

Environment: Located southwest, with a large sea to its north, has two general areas. In the north and east, the land is mostly flat, and connects to a nothern sea. The south is a mountainous forested region. Two Primary Resources: Coal and Iron ore

General Race Composition: Bat Pony 75%, Griffon 22.5%, Omminari (Unicorns derived from the original Unicorn tribe) 0.5%, Other 2%, total population is about 13.5 million
General Race Description: (Clothing, Appearance. Does your nation's culture or environment make the race(s) skinner, taller, wear weird clothing ,etc?) The Bat Ponies originate from Abendstern, but have a small population in Equestria. Those in Abendstern are shorter than their Equestrian brotheren because of their diets over the centuries, but they are still slightly taller than the common Pony. They also rang in colors from Black, Blues, Greys, and the occasional very dark Reds and Purples, and the considered very attractive white. Manes and tails range in colors in the same range but those with white coats may also Be blond. This is very rare, and only found in some whom are white. Males wear Frock coats, over a button down shirt and trousers. When outside of the workplace, where one may get cleaned up, simple three piece suits are the primary choice of clothing. Sporting a large mustache has become popular among the more mature, and hats such as the newscap for workers and youngsters. Those with a military background, tend to wear the jackets or coats of their uniforms. Those currently in service wear most of their uniform at all times for a sense of formality. Items such as their swords and helmets are not to be worn when off duty. Female Bat Ponies wear Skirt and Shirtwaist combinations, usually in dark shades of blue, red, and a varrying between black and white, but white is very easily stained, and worn only by those who can afford it. Tube shaped dresses are usually worn for out of work occasions. Tighter more natural clothes are worn for their practicality, comfortness, and to save fabric that can be used in the fabrication of uniforms and other needs the textile industry can be directed towards. Male Griffons tend to wear three piece suits with suspenders, since they mostly occupy jobs in shops and small businesses and are required to dress a little more professionally. Females Griffins wear dress shirts and add a little bit of flare by wearing ruffle skirts. The Omminari have all become part of the aristocracy and are rather well tailored. Males wear expensive suits made of only the finest fabrics, or their military uniforms which are usually more decorated since a member of the aristocracy tends to be enlisted as an officer from the get go. This used to be critisized by the public, but those who immediately become officers are always given the best education, and living a higher life under the care of their experienced fathers, means they have far more discipline and have likely spent half of their life around the military. The color of these uniforms depend on what part they served in. Blue would mean Navy, Grey would mean the Army, White would be the airforce, Black would mean they have served in more than one conflict or are duely noted for their acomplishments. These soldiers exchange their previous uniform for a Black Leather frockcoat, made of stained dragon hide. Due to the recent stretch in peacetime, most soldiers earn their new colors by participating in a battle where they successfully take down a dragon. The use of dragon leather provides the individual with distinction, and protection from most sharp objects and projectiles, and of course fire. The personal guard of the Kaiser wear red, and are used only for defense purposes. Female Omminari wear elaborate magically sown dresses that are either extremely expensive or homemade. Spells are cast on them that create shimmers, changes of various color colors that are outside of the Abendstern norm, feathers suddenly sprouting on command, and most recently, auras that pour off and dissipate as a mist when they make contact with the floor. The Omminari are also very tall, sometimes as tall as griffins.
General Race Personality: (How does you nation's population react to each other and to others in general? Are they friendly, shy, aggressive, a bit lonersih, etc?) The Bat Ponies are very courteous towards others. They will gladly help those in who are need, they feel superior to beings that are ground bound, except for Unicorns. They are easilly impressed by those with magical capabilities and see those that can naturally perform such acts as their equals. Earth Ponies are treated with respect but are considered inferior. Zebra's are considered enemies of the state. They are allowed within Abendstern's borders, but they have no rights as far as anyone is concerned.They would be refused service or aide of any kind, and possibly chased out of town, or worse. They contest with Griffons to some extent thanks to an ongoing argument of speed over strength. This usually results in small tournaments that only prove that each trait is useful in in their own right. This is encouraged because a physically active nation, is a strong one. The Griffons look at all ground bound beings as inferior, but will conduct business with them. The Omminari view themselves as pure,and superior to all beings. They will have nothing to do with non-pony species, and those without the ability of flight or magic are treated likewise. In the rare instance, they will cooperate with Griffons, but only for military matters. The only thing considered worse than an inferior being, is a Unicorn in a relationship with one. The very few Omminari who aren't living the highlife, are those who were shunned for having a relationship with an inferior. These are very rare, however relationships such as these with Bat Ponies are more likely to spawn the praised White coat and Blonde mane that is so admired. This can make for somewhat awkward occurances at parties, since Bat Ponies with these traits are often invited to them since they are a symbol of beauty and are destined for a life of ease, but they may run into an Omminari Grandparent at one of these, and you can see how the atmosphere becomes uneasy.

Culture and Description: (What belief systems, special language, special clothing, or perhaps caste system, etc do they have?) Although not taken as seriously as it used to be, the Bat Ponies revere Princess Luna as a goddess, for bringing them the night and offering them the prospect of ruling the world under her. They speak Narive Abendsternian, and are also fluent in Equestrian, and somewhat in Griffin. Those born rich, will likely die rich, and depending on how they lived their lives, their next of kin may do the same. Most Abendsternians have some form of aristocracy in their family ancestry. About a third of the upper class is made up of Omminari, another third by Bat Ponies that come from a long line of nobility, and the final third that families only stay wealthy enough for a few generations thanks to business opportunies. Buildings: (How are their buildings and what are they made of, wood, stone, etc? Are they elegant spires, or ramshackle huts, etc.?) Most live in Middle houses made of sections of plaster, stone, or brick, supported by timbers, and roofed by slate, clay tiling, or thatch. Averaging at two stories tall, singe story in outer areas, and in more industrial areas complete brick building are becoming more common, reaching 5 stories at their highest. The rich and state buildings/homes, consists of large manors, and columned stone structures that reach toaround three stories high,purposefully built to be above the more common housing, and located atop hills or slightly isolated areas on large properties. Some of the oldest are converted castles, of which the nation still has many towards its eastern border.
Foreign Policy: Open to trade and alliances under their conditions, Abendstern takes a rather agressive stance. It is their way or a slow agonizing death to those who deny them what they want that is immediately felt. Abendstern is rather hesitant to help it's allies militarilly, since it doesn't like getting involved in the affairs of other nations, but will always offer advice and stay true to its word, unless the alliance includes a third nation. Then Abendstern will go to war, only if all allies are in agreement in declaring it. However when roped into a war with a nation that has bad relations with its ally, Abendstern demands that it take charge, and that its ally follow orders given by the Kaiser. If the nation its ally is at war with, has good relations with Abendstern, then only non-military support will be given.
History: Over a thousand years ago, a great Blizzard descended upon the land. It blocked out all light, to the point where not even the Bat Ponies could see in the dark, and crops could no longer grow. The cold seeped into their homes, and the weight of the snow made many collapse. Food was becoming very scarce, and they were being snowed in. They didn't have the supplies to travel a great distance, so they went where the snow could not grow above them. Into the mountains they went, burrowing themselves in the backs of vast caves. Here they bundled up in mass. Using each other's body heat to keep themselves warm. There was hardly anything else they could do. If they went out to search in the cold, they would surely freeze to death, and any prolonged activity burned energy that they couldn't spare. And so they slepted there, most assuming they would die in the position they were laying in. All hope was lost. But one night, a young colt near the edge of the colony, awoke. He looked into the darkness and saw something he had not seen in months. Upon the middle of a frozen spring that had been their source of water when they first got there, was a very small glimmer. A glimmer of light! He got up and aproached it cautiously, as though it were a small woodland creature that he did not want to scare off. He got up to it and then searched for the source of the light. Pearing out of the entrance of the cave, he saw snow. Snow for miles around. But what was fascinating, was that he could actually see it. He looked up and found what was permitting this gift. A gap in the clouds allowed for one small star, to shine down on the world. It's light would be insignificant on a normal night. But here it shown down on everything and reflected off of the snow, which reflected it back onto everything else. The colt stared transfixed. It was hard for him to believe that this was real. It was cold, but not unbearable like it had been. His family soon awoke, noticing his absence. They saw his silouhette at the entrance to the cave. They got up to see what had happened to their land. This in turn awoke the rest of the colony who noticed their absence, and the absence of more, and so forth. They all crowded to the front of the cave. Sitting there mesmerized by one little star. And then, something happened. The gap in the clouds grew, and soon more stars appeared, lighting up the sky once more. Eventually the sun rose and they fell back to sleep, only to awake to the snow having melted. The trees began to grow leaves, and the animals slowly returned. Those who survived left the cave, and resettled the land. They grew in strength and developed into kingdoms. These kingdoms eventually grew to seek power. They fought among themselves until they were given an opportunity. Off in another land, a civil war raged between two sisters. One brought the day, and the other the night. The younger one was in need of ponies to resupply her army. The Bat Ponies being adapted to the night, and realizing this would mean serving a goddess, marched to battle in her name. They fought with all the kingdoms combined efforts, but they couldn't keep up. They had to travel across land to the sea that connected to Equestria. Here they would board ships that would travel to equestrias borders and the Bat Ponies would raise up a storm against the enemy. The number of Bat Ponies who would willingly fight, and supplies began to diminish as the war dragged on. All support for their leader ended when her sister formed a blockade that prevented anymore from reaching the battlefield. Reason for this was rumored to be that the Zebras in control of the lands they marched across were sick of letting a foreign army march across them. And so it is said that they reported how Princess Luna was getting her soldiers, to Princess Celestia, who immediately put a stop to it. This rumor was well among the Bat Ponies, and whether it was true or not didn't matter. For they had lost the war, and wanted revenge. They waited till they were strong enough to wage war again, and for a couple of centuries they fought against the Zebras hard. Acts of atrocities committed by both sides only added to the conflict. The fighting was getting them no where, and eventually the fighting stopped. The Bat Ponies still wanted to gain access to the eastern sea, and they sought to use their ability of flight to do so. This became the main focus of Abendstern, which formed soon after the kingdoms united after when nationalism movement rose from the idea of us versus them, and so the Empire was born, and the airship was developed for crossing over large areas of land without contact with it. However, the Zebra enemy had grown weak and disorganized over time, and from the onslaught of the nearby Griffons. These Griffons competed with the Bat Ponies for dominance of the sky, and after a small war, the Bat Ponies came out victorious, adding a decent Griffon population to their own. They were sore over their loss, but having been granted full and equal rights, they adjusted and became proud members of Abendstern. During this time Abendstern experienced an Industrial Revolution, and with its booming economy and proud people who are ready to serve, it seeks to expand and creat a pedostool for itself in the world.
Quality of Life: Poverty is almost non-existent. The Aristocracy is quite large, and everyone has a chance to improve their quality of life over time, even from the most menial jobs. The government is directly in control of manufacturing and the obtaining of resources. Because of this, It can take the money it needs directly from the profits after the workers have been payed, and they make enough to where there isn't a tax on the people, with the exception of business owners and foreign goods. This is in part to easier regulation and trying to enforce that it's better to purchase locally produced goods for nationalistic reasons. The annual GNP is 109 billion Crescents, a silver coin worth a quarter of an Equestrian bit. 10% of this is placed in the National Treasury as savings every year, and every ten years, the GNP goes up 20%. This has been going on for 4 decades, meaning that the treasurey holds about 260 billion Crescents. Enough to stall an economic collapse, or not suffer the effects of sudden massive spending.
Military Power: (What weapons, branches of military, etc.) The Navy has 96 Ironcladded Man of Wars, 2 steam powered Monitors, the first ships made completely from metal, armed with 4 dahlgren guns mounted on 2 covered rotating turrets, and 28 submersible ships, armed with a single torpedo that can only be used against ships with wooden hulls. The Navy consists of 50,000 personnel who all still use the common musket. Abendstern's navy isn't quite up to date, and although every ship is fully functional, and they now have submersibles, It is for the most part obsolete against any major powers with the exception of being able to prevent most merchant ships from reaching their destination.

The Army and the Airforce are prectically the same thing, only the Airforce does not train with artillery outside of airships. The Standing Army has 300,000 guards, of which 25,000 are duly noted. Every soldier is armed with the very accurate long rifle with bayonet, and a cutlass. The Duly Noted are all officers, though there are some regulars who are officers as well, and all are armed with a 5 piece revolver along with their rifles. For every hundred soldiers there is at least one easilly positioned mobile Western cannon, and 500 of its cousin, the Mountain Gun, which is a breach loading gun that requires only 2 soldiers to pull and operate, compared to the Western's 5. It has a cap that unscrews on a hinge, where the round and powder is loaded in reverse order. This cannon also comes with a simple screw lever, that allows the user to raise or lower the gun faster, and more precisely. The Western uses wooden blocks of various sizes which require the cannon to be fired at least 3 times to find its mark. The use of the screw permits a guaranteed hit on the second shot. if not under intense fire. The 105 mm Light Field Howitzer is the Mountain Gun's steroid induced brother. It requires 5 soldiers to operate, but needs 6 to pull into position. The extra soldier is usually a messenger who retrieves orders of where to bombard the enemy. The gun takes more time to load, but it can be fired accurately within a 10 feet of the target from a blind shot, and will leave decently sized craters in the battlefield. It is meant for destroying larger targets farther away, such as entire groups of soldiers, enemy strongholds, railroads, and enemy artillery. It comes with a frontal shield that can withstand normal cannon fire, and there is one for every 500 soldiers. They can only be used within the nation since they are so difficult to move about. Their use is also limited by weather conditions since their immense weight will cause them to sink into wet ground. There has been discussion of using them aboard naval ships in the future, and possibly even mounting one on an airship, but that is only specuation at this time.
The Airforce consists of 125,000 guards, each armed just the same as the Army, however they have the option of bringing lances with them into battle instead of a sword, and 25,000 have been equipped with the Needle Gun .The Needle Gun is a breach loading rifle that ignites the percussion cap of a paper cartridge. This allows for faster and less awkward loading, however the weapon is prone to jam due to the burnt cartridge remnents clogging the barrel after continuous use, making it only desirable for about 2 dozen shots. So for a very limited amount of time, they have the advantage of firing more shots, however once that time is up, that 25,000 is forced to revert to to their secondary arms. What makes the Airforce most effective is its fleet of airships of which there are 3 types. There is the simple hot air balloon which their are 100 of, may hold up to 4 snipers. The Small Airship of which there are 50, holds a crew of 20 personal, whose job it is to toss explosives onto the enemy and provide immediate air support. The small airship is unigue in its design, for it has the capability to operate as an actual ship and is run by a steam engine. Although it is quiet, it releases a thick trail of smoke which gives away its position. Because of this, cloud cover is sometimes placed around it, but this makes for very low visibility. and low effectiveness as well. Continous fire, or a well aimed cannon can take them down.

The Large Airship was a costly expenditure. Originally there were 4, but one was used for test firing of seeing whether a volley from the howitzers could take it down, which they could, and another caught fire when a phoenix managed to get inside. Unlike the small airship, the large ones use cheaper but flammable Hydrogen rather than helium, which created a massive explosion. There are currently only 2, and they each hold a crew of 50, along with 12 Mountain guns and a bay area designed to hold 1000 soldiers, ready to fly into combat. The airship was designed with the intent to cover large distances and given exaust pipes that filter the smoke from its engines. This prevents a trail of smoke from forming behind it, allowing it to fully use its stealth advantage, even for something of such a grand size. It takes several shots to bring down a large airship, and is only at risk to fire eternally.

Most of them are older than the average soldier, since the duty of the personal guard is for life. General Race Personality: Prideful and patriotic, as of late theres been a big push to seek out other nations. A general like of anything they view as exotic.
Two Primary Nation Traits: Prideful and religious.
Culture and Description: Population: 1,000,000. The ponies in Cidonia have an interesting social hierarchy. While Earth Ponies are the most numerous they make up the work force and any intense manual labor is done by them weather it be farming or mining or construction work, however they are not treated as equals, they are treated as second class citizens.

Pegasi are considered the the majority class as far as society is concerned, they have the most rights. They make up all the royal figures who run things up in the palace, and the noble class is made up exclusively of pegasi. Pegasi take artistic and market based jobs, everything from sculptures and architects to salesman and market vendors.

Unicorns are similar to earth ponies, but treated a little better. Unicorns are used as personal servants of the noble class and the ruling class. Unicorns go through a special school until they are 18 and then they assigned to a handler. Every unicorn has a pegasi handler that basically owns them, they take care of them and help them find other ponies who are in need of a servant, however mistreatment and neglect of unicorns is considered a major crime.

Religion in Cidonia is an interesting subject. The main pantheon has 3 deities, a sun goddess, a river god, and a goddess of the desert. The sun goddess is prayed to on a normal basis and is considered the main deity. The river god is thought to control the regular flooding of the main river that runs through the country and supplies it its food, he is primarily worshiped by earth pony farmers, and is thanks before each meal. The desert goddess is something that is both revered and feared, as she is the one who is thought to control the lands outside the country and all its mystery and danger. The leader of the country is also considered a minor deity and is thought to be a descendant of the sun goddess.

The ruling class follows a slightly different set of deities, in fact, only the sun goddess is the only one recognized and is thought to be the one who helps guide the priests to a new ruler if the previous ruler dies of old age. The other gods are mainly used for control, the desert goddess to make sure the ponies dont leave into the desert and the river god to keep the earth ponies in line.

The country is sustained by annual flooding of the river which helps produce enough food to keep the country going, the river is also the countries main source of transportation from north to south

Due to its location, usable timber is scarce, so ships have been designed accordingly, most are small, but the larger ones are narrow to save on wood, the largest ships take the form of flatbed barges with structures built on them.

Manticores are tamed beasts, and are owned as pets by the wealthiest of the nobility.

Because Cidonia has been isolated for so long, it has started to fall behind as far as technology goes.
Buildings: Buildings are made of primarily sandstone and limestone, with the palace and nobility homes are lines with marble and gold, they take on very blocky shapes, they more wealthy you are the more decorations you could afford, ranging from statues to engravings. The palace is the most elegant building in the entire country, filled with lavish luxuries and 2 large pools one for swimming and the other for bathing, there is a smaller pool used for relaxing. Nobility homes are built with comfort in mind, often with fine luxury items as well.

History: Cidonia is a nation 600 years old, founded on top of an older civilization that was taken over by a foreign power, this war was between the native earth ponies and pegasi invaders, when the pegasi won they changed the country into was is now known as Cidonia, however it kept many similarities with the previous civilization, however earth ponies got the short end of the stick and were regarded as second class citizens, it is unknown where the unicorns originated from, it is theorized that a unicorn tribe came into their lands and were captured and kept for their usefulness around 500 years ago. Interestingly enough, there is much interest in the old civilization and historical sites are revered. Around 400 years ago the country was split into a northern and a southern kingdom, however about 250 years ago a bloody civil war raged and was ended when the ruler of the northern kingdom was killed by his brother, and then he declared himself king then with his superior leadership was able to force the south to surrender, reunifying the country. However this began the unwritten rule of he who kills the ruler is the ruler, resulting in a lot of rulers with short reigns, most lasting about 10 years before they were killed, the previous ruler before Salazaria was only one of 5 rulers to die of old age, living to be an impressive 70.
Quality of Life: Very high, even earth ponies have semi decent housing
Military Power: There are 3 branches of the military, Air Land and Sea, totaling to around 50,000
Land: the land division is the largest, they have bronze and iron armor and weapons, with special swords, their armor using scales to layer on themselves, their armor and headdresses are highly decorated. Some ponies have a harness around the wing that can hold pole arms and pole shields. Unicorns have specialty roles, often being in charge of special weapons, such greek fire containers and ranged weapons, such as crossbows, every unicorn is accompanied by their handler. Earth ponies are used to carry equipment and pull chariots. Chariots usually contain one or two other ponies, either a pegasi or two, or a unicorn and its handler, used for quick and devastating charges. Manticore riders are considered to be the heavy units and are normally only used if needed, or to intimidate.

Sea: The sea force is the smallest in numbers, containing a few large triremes, several smaller assault skiffs, and a large siege barge.

Air: the air is comprised solely of pegasi with ranged weapons, used in force when a quick victory is needed, and is often used to initiate battle, it is the second smallest branch with around 7000 units

The military of Cidonia also employs siege weapons, in the form of ballistas and catapults, however they are rarely used due to their needlessly destructive nature. However port cities have catapult turrets around the harbor.

Nation Name: Crystal Lands.

Government type: Monarchy. Ruled by Emperor Blue Crystal. But he isn't a dictator and do everything by himself. He listens his subjects and pound their opinions to his decisions.

Flag Symbol: All colored crystals around one big blue pylon.

Ruler: Emperor Blue Crystal.

Environment: South. It lands lies near Medeis nation. It lands are quite special: They have lack of wood, metal and stone, even though they live at the South. These resources were lost by actions of Succumb Snakes from mountains and caves, that lies near of their lands capital. The land is not very easy to conquer, even though navigating and traveling may not be a problem. Crystal Lands may look weak to many other nations, but its inhabitants and emperor has many surprises on their hoofs, if anyone dares to march there with conquering on their mind. The days in there aren't very cold neither very hot.

Two Primary Resources:

Crystal: One of the most primary resources to be found. They mine them from caves and mountains they have. Ponies at Crystal Lands use them almost for every needs and buildings, except eating and drinking. Crystal Lands uses Crystal as their main trading resource.

Diamond: Tough and valuable resource that was found with crystals in the mountains and caves alike. Ponies at Crystal Lands use them mostly to create weapons and armors. Crystal Lands trade Diamonds, but they may restrict them more than Crystals, because Diamond is very tough material.

Two Scarce Resources:

Wood: Even though Crystal Lands location is at the South, it has still very lack of woods, because most of them were destroyed during the war against Succumb Snakes. Now: Its nearly treeless land.

Metal: Even though they live near caves and mountains, Succumb Snakes manage to drain all the metal from the mountains and caves alike during the war. So now: They have extremely lack of metal material and that is why they mostly use Crystals and Diamonds for their buildings, armors, weapons etc...

General Race Composition: There are only Earth Ponies left and living in Crystal Lands. The total population is 300 000.

General Race Description: Every inhabitant comes from Equestria lands. They have really nothing special appearance. Only Royal Guards and Soldiers wear Diamond made armors. normal Citizens may use some crystal and diamond pieces on their clothes, but mostly not.

General Race Personality: They are mostly peaceful, honorable and calm but they can be cautious and careful as well. They are prefer very much of non-violence and more peaceful solutions, rather than war and violence, which will come as last resort in their philosophy. They react towards Unicorns, Pegasuses and Crystal ponies pretty calmly, but other races that they do not know or have never seen, they may react more cautiously. They notify behavior and talking when speaking or communicating with strangers. If they find something rough or something like that in their speech or behavior, they become more cautious and careful towards the stranger. They are known to be loyal to their home land. If their home or ally is under attacked, they will defend their homeland or ally lands, until their last breath.

Crafty = They relay pretty much of that, what they can make of with their current technology and with their current crafting abilities. They already have created their strongest weapon: Big Crystals, that can mirror Sun Beams towards their enemies and they are still trying to discover more something new.

Peaceful = They are not looking for war and violence. They are rather searching alliance, trading partners and peace with other nations.

Culture and Description: Ponies in Crystal Lands believes they are working "For The Greater Good" and they believe that "Many is better than one" ((Which means that working as united and teamwork is always better than alone.)) Which is why they are friendly and wishes more peaceful solutions than violence.

Buildings: Made only of Crystal. They may seem weak, but they are not. They can take heavy artillery hits and once Crystal shatters, it will still leave dangerous Shards to the ground, which will hurt those, who have not covered their hoofs/paws/feets very well. Crystal is also immune for magic. Alicorns magic may effect someways, but unless he or she is extremely powerful, it will not break it.

Foreign Policy: Peaceful, honorable and solution seeker. They mostly attempts to make peace, diplomacy, trade agreements and alliances with other nations. They react towards the other nations neutrally first, but any nations that are towards them aggressive, they consider them as treat and enemies. But those who agrees to work together with Crystal Lands, they are considered as trade partners or allies. They allow other Foreign to step in to their lands, but they don't allow any treating-kind of things. Such as weapons or stab-able tools. Emperor himself is mostly driving the foreign and inner policy by himself, but sometimes he may send instead someone else, if he is too busy or the conversation isn't that important. It will be in that case: Mostly either Soldier or Royal Guard.

History: A the beginning: Crystal Lands was only a colony, that belong to Crystal Empire. As Crystal Lands became richer and more inhabitants moved on to their lands, they decided to request independence from Crystal Empire. Luckily: The Crystal Empire didn't want any violence and massacre, so they accepted Crystal Lands independence, but they still want Crystal Lands remain ally and trade partner with Crystal Empire, which Crystal Lands accepted. First of all: the new rulers: Queen Red Heart and King Mighty Diamond, forbid all non-Earth Ponies to visit and/or live on their lands, as their rough believe was that they are proud to be only Earth-Ponies thinking this was "For The Greater Good." This was concluded for 5 years, until Crystal Empire treated to cut out their agreement and start war towards Crystal Lands, if they don't accept other races to their lands. After this treatment was reached to Crystal Lands, Queen and King decided to allow other races to live and visit at their lands. After this declare, Crystal Lands begun to believe that "Many Is Better Than One," and begun to believe even more for teamwork and union, as these appeared to make their land even better place to live. They also become more peaceful and honorable. After those events, only special thing that happened when land has been a nation for 20 years now, was King and Queen newborn son: Blue Crystal. But as the years passed, one faithful day, when the Crystal Lands was reached 40 years, a race known as: Succumb Snakes, declared war towards Crystal Lands. They were blaming Crystal Land for destroying their homes at the mountains and caves. After this declare: Crystal Lands begun to invest more towards technology research to defend their home and asked help from Crystal Empire to this conflict, which Empire declined and cut off all connections with Crystal Lands and even worse: Unicorns, Pegasuses and Crystal Ponies decide to leave from the Crystal Lands, because they were afraid for their own lives. Only Earth ponies remained loyal and stayed. Diplomacy didn't work, as Succumb Snakes attacked one faithful day. For 5 years, Crystal Lands and Succumb Snakes fight against each other. For those years, the war didn't bent either side, until Crystal Land technology research finally made advancing great result: They learned how to mirror "Sun Beams" towards their enemies from big crystals. With this advanced and powerful defend weapon, Succumb Snakes begun to be losing side and finally: They were soon perished completely. But victory came with prices: Succumb Snakes terrorize, made wood, stone and metal resources to vanish completely, their only ally Crystal Empire was betrayed and left them, all the other pony races have left them to their own fate and Crystal Land king and queen died during the final battle at Crystal Lands capital.

Now at the present day: Young 25 years old Blue Crystal took the role as the Emperor of the young 45 years old Crystal Lands, Even though the lands are still struggling with corruption and shocks, Blue Crystal is still having faith and believe for the future and slowly: Tries to follow his mother and father hoof steps, to make Crystal Lands again great, maybe even better than it was once.

Quality of Life: Valid. The lack of wood, stones and metal is not a problem for Crystal Lands, as they still have everything critical they need to survive on their lands. Such as food and water that Succumb Snakes did not manage to perish.

Military Power: Crystal Lands doesn't use metal, gunpowder, wood, stone etc... "Normal materials" on their weapons unlike many other nations, because of those resources are in rare. Instead: They uses Diamonds to build their armors, weapons, even arrows and possibly replace gunpowder with Diamond Shards. Their strongest defend weapon this far, is Big Crystals that can mirror Sun Beams towards their enemies. It should cause temporarily and permanently blindness, cause fires to their target(s) or burn others down to death. They haven't yet found any other way to mirror sun beams though. Crystal Lands may not have the strongest or most powerful military power, but they are very crafty and they are still willing to keep it up to discover more. Crystal Lands have at the moment 40 000 Soldiers and 10 000 Royal Guards ((They are known as elites as well)). Crystal Lands have no navy, because they don't have any kind resources left to make boats or ships.

Nation Name: Quinacta

Government Type: Oligarchy of a council of five. The five heads of the Gazzadie family, Cannoli family, Tenzeeni Family, Ganbeni family and the Semi family. But one member is chosen to be the head of the council who has the final say. That being Malachi Semi.

Flag/Symbol: A dark blue flag with five medium sized circles in a circle and each a different color. Red, green, brown, blue and black. They represent the five heads of the council who are also heads of the five families. The dots are connected by a gold line going between them and connecting all together in the center.

Ruler(s) and title(s): Quinacta is ran by a council of five. The five heads of the main families that founded Quinacta. The heads of the Gazzadie family, Cannoli family, Tenzeeni Family, Ganbeni family and the Semi family. But one member is chosen to be the head of the council who has the final say. That being Malachi Semi after his father stepped down. His title is the Head Don.


Environment: Mostly in the eastern part between Pegasonia and Cidonia.

Two Primary Resources: First, a strong knowledge of business and trade. The families own most of the land meaning an even income of taxes along with a steady abundance of employment and a well maintained economy. Stating out they relied on trade heavily to bring in resources they did not had. Most of it coming from Equestria.

The second being labor. During their time of independence they had to have others learn how to do things so they wouldn't have to rely on outside help. This is way in schools they teach basic skills of all kinds along with slandered curriculum.


Two Scarce Resources: Agriculture and raw materials.. Since after starting out as a small settlement they have gown to be able to fend for them selves and become independent, building a large city that models that of Manehattan and Canterlot. But do to a growing population and expansion of the city, lands meant for farming are shrinking. And after going independent they didn't feel a need to continue their trading. But now from a growing city and a scarce agriculture their looking to restart trading. Which will help them gain a source of raw materials

General Race Composition: Multicultural, the three races of ponies being the main inhabitants.

General Race Description: Very divers. Their being many sources for employment.

General Race Personality: Open to other nations and friendly. But they will not take things lightly when threatened in any way. They also do not like to be very open with their knowledge of trading and deals of almost every kind.

Culture and Description: Multicultural as well but each being works together to make sure the place they call home is fair and comfortable.

Buildings: Inside the city the building could be made out of many material . Mostly of the same kind they have in Manehattan and Canterlot. Outside the city smaller places or individual home are usually made out of hood and brick.

Foreign Policy: Very open to trade but tends to stay neutral when it comes to global politic. Meaning they help out whenever they can while mostly looking out for themselves.

History: Quinacta was started by the five mane crime families of Manehattan. Stating out they families were at each others throats looking to take over the other families territories. Blood and fires littered the city when the families were at war. But the first Don of the Semi family, Don Semiazas Semi, had enough of the unnecessary bloodshed. He brought the heads together to try and resolve things once and for all. After three days he was able to being the heads together at last in a mutual relationship.

Cause of this each of the families helped out one another where they other ones lacked. Witch helped them all become very wealthy. Cause of their success and getting tired of Manehattans laws interfering with their businesses, Don Semi had an idea to start their own nation and make their one laws so they could trade and deal without having to go around the laws of Equestria. Each of the Dons came together again and pooled every contact they had along with their money and bought up a bunch of land outside Equestria.

From there they used their knowledge of business and trade to help build their nation till they were able to become independent.

Quality of Life: Mostly comfortable. They have well suited necessities for almost everything without having one over the other.

Military Power: Everyone in Quinacta, by law, have to go though some form of training. Be it in magic, combat or tactical. Cause of this they were able to build a very large Militia consisting of most of Quinacta citizens between the age of 19 and 47. But if they are ever declared war on they will most likely seek outside help in the form of Mercenaries.

Their numbers run to about half the a quarter of the population who took on law enforcement, guard and security jobs. But during times of crises a drift will happen and most likely doubling to half or more of the population.

And their technology is general in normal homes in businesses. But they are capable of developing their own engines powered by steam and or magic. But they are looking into other ways of how to expand on this.
They usually used them for boats and trains for public transportation.

But they are trying to make them smaller to be able to use them for personal use on smaller vehicles.

As for Military technology, it's fairly lacking most because they are mainly focused in technology that would benefit them in other ways. Which is mostly why they focus on male weapons or hoof to hoof combat and or magic combat.



The weapons they mainly focus training with is swards, knifes, spears and or blunt weapons such as maces or bats.

But they do have gunpowder weapons such as, rifles, pistes and cannons.

The estimate is about 2 million rifles, 1.5 million pistols, and 3500 smooth bore cannons. And since it's a militia, they own their own weapons and ammunition.


The branches is fairly simple. On the tops is the council members with the head Don on top. Below that is the Dons generals, then there's the Caporegime and then the soldiers .

The Generals are mainly in charge of the Military, making decisions on behalf of the council.

Caporegime is like a captain, they are in charge of the soldiers.

And they are mainly land based combat with some are forces. But not so much on sea. Other then a few ships meant for transportation and not for sea combat.


Population: It runs to about 7,837,126.

And the militia stands at 1,175,000 strong.

Foreign Policy: Welcoming towards others, but at times of war will often close it's doors to other nations until they have finished
History: Was Founded a group of 15 Ponies who worked with the villages they grew up in to unite them under one flag, and established a set law for the nation to follow and work with, the original 15 has turned to 25 with more village join and all vote a president, to lead the people, power is equally shared.
Quality of Life: In the resource parts are dangerous but not to dangerous, there are hospitals, clinics, pay is often good to miners and lumberjacks cities often house the rich, cities and forest and mining areas are often given full control and the government pays for the law enforcement, taxes are reasonable

Most forces are ground warfare trained, some are trained to shoot at air targets most of those are stationed along the border any ship is most likely a trader, and could be refitted to fight at sea but since most towns are away from the sea, navy forces are often unaccounted for.
Rifles are Flintlock muzzle-loaders, common rifles used by the militia, fast reload but accuracy are best at short ranges and can be out ranged by volunteer's long rifles
Volunteer Rifles: Long Rifles, often used for protection out in the frontier and farmland for protection its can be deadly and accurate with those who know the lay of the land its a long flintlock rifle that uses a spiral barrel to increase the accuracy of the musket ball, tho it takes a tad-bit longer to reload than militia rifles
12 pounder cannons are a regular cannons with its small barrel and good accuracy tho it can be out ranged by larger cannons
