Rarity being a drama queen and Derpy being a Derpy x3

These were drawn with a ball-point pen and colored pencils. I made a few mistakes but since I did it with pen, THERE'S NO GOING BACK! The Rarity drawing is BIG. It took up the whole page. The Derpy drawing is medium size. Any feedback or tips are appreciated.

I adjusted the white balance on the first one a bit so it is easier to look at. I hope you don't mind.

To be honest, these look like they were copied off existing images and while there's nothing wrong with that in principle, it won't help you to become a better artist.

 

If you want to improve, I'd advice you to sttart practicing pony anatomy to get a grip on how ponies look and move etc.

Once you get the hang of it, you can start recreating different poses (by building up the pose, not by drawing the outlines.

Also, start off small, the bigger an image the harder to make it look goo.

I drew a few sketches using your advice. I tried to do some poses. I think I did better than I thought I would.

 

Sitting pony is confused.

Lol No, I don't mind. I just think my lame drawing wasn't really worth the trouble. X)
