hey guys!

im sorry for not being here lot. just to admit became a new fur *gasp* i know right? now looking through both fandoms ive noticed something..both fandoms dont really see eye to eye. i mean sure we both love taliing animals create animal persona(posonas and fursonas) but one way or another if a fur likes mlp they wont call themselves a brony while if a brony likes the furry fandom wont say there a furry. which struck me alittle odd here. i mean i can say im a sherlocken, homestuck, supernatral,  loveless, pegesister,  anime, furry etc but the line would be too. kinda think to me a new fandom im into changes my view on life one way or another.as well as a lesson. here its all about the factors of friendship and tolerance. like the furry fandom. i dont really get why cant we be both? or why does one dislike the other because there interests are a bit different then the other? liek theres horse furrys in the furry fandom while in the mlp community there are griffins like the furry community. there just not as shown. as well as all the stigmas are all too simliar.... me being a furry does that change anything about me? nope well if you count my fursona madam swift claw who is a floral reptilian catter then maybe but mostly nope. do you guys think these two fandoms should combine or work together in a sorts? let me know in this thread please :3

I'm furry and brony. I think they both have awesome sane people and creepy weirdos. You find both extremes in literally every kind of fandom, religion, politics, family reuinion ect ect.

I think with bronies and furries it is the most obvious when either is being hypocritical because they are so similar, even though the differences are made to seem like they are miles apart. I don't think forcing anyone to be friends can help that, it's really what the individual makes of it.

Personally, I really don't care how the masses of furries or bronies are received because the masses do not represent me. I represent myself. I think that's just how you have to handle fandoms. You can't mark everyone the same because each fandom means something different to the individual. Blanket stereotypes are lazy.

I went to Anthrocon, the largest furry convention, a few years ago and had an awesome time. This year I'm planning to hit Bronycon, and I'm going to have an awesome time as well.

Personally I don't mind people being furries but I don't like it when I have friends and such shove it down my throat, much like when non-bronies are forced to watch MLP. There are huge similarities within both fandoms but there are many differences too like majority of Bronies despise clopping as it gives Bronies in general a bad name whereas Furries yiff? If that is the correct term I don't think bronies would like to dress up in fur-suits either it also could be because furries are interested in the style of anthropomorphic I would assume bronies love their standard normal ponies rather than an animal that has human characteristics ;_;

I don't know I knew a Furry once and I told him I was a brony and he told me to ''f*ck off''..... .-.

they usually don't run well together because both fandoms don't want the others stigma XD

Despite the fact that if you strip away what the two groups are fans of and just leave the social structure, they pretty much have the same stigma.

At this point the fight between bronies and furries is like the pot and the kettle making hang-up calls to each other.
