Heathcliff just revealed that HE is Kayaba Akihiko; he's also the final boss. He just gave Kirito a deal he can refuse. He offers to turn off his immortality and let Kirito battle him, and if he wins, he clears the game. Miyu knew it was too good to be true. It couldn't be that easy. It just couldn't. Asuna tried stopping him, but guess that's what happens when you're crazy in love and want to be with your lover no matter what. Kirito accepts, much to Asuna's discontent; Miyu knew Asuna thought the same thing she did. Kirito and Kayaba fought like no tomorrow, but Kirito got too cocky. He let his guard down, and Kayaba came in for the attack. Much to Miyu's disbelief, Asuna jolts up and races over just as the blade of Kayaba's sword slashing down -- on her. Kirito grabs her, crying. Who wouldn't cry in a moment like this? It certainly brought tears to Miyu's eyes. As Asuna disappeared, Kirito numbly got up, grabbing his Elucidator and Asuna's Lambent Light. He clumsily started slashing at him, missing completely everytime. Kayaba chuckled, easily sliding his blade trough Kirito's torso. At that moment, something amazing happened. Just as Kirito's health hit zero, a sudden wave of energy burst through the room. Kirito was still alive - sort of. He looked different. He was transparent and his eyes were golden. He screamed out, catching Kayaba off guard and slicing through him. His health hit zero as he looked at Kirito with an evil smirk. "Thanks, kid. Too bad the joke's on you..." Kayaba disappeared, his laugh echoing throughout the room. Kirito blinked, his body regenerating. He looked around. Miyu gasped, pointing to the ground. Kirito whirled around, his eyes widening. There's laying on the ground, was Asuna, slowly regenerating. He raced over to her, kneeling by her and picking her up in his arms. She weakly opened her eyes, smiling up at him. "I thought you were dead...?" Asuna smiled, laying her head on his chest. "Me too... I was in a white room... Everyone who had died was in the room... Next thing I know, Kayaba showed up... He explained everything... We've been deceived... There was never a final boss... He never intended for us to leave this game... We're stuck here... Forever..."

"Die you damn plant!" Miyu screamed, charging at a giant plant monster and slicing it in half. It disappeared shortly after. She sighed, wiping the sweat off her brow as her XP increased just enough. "Sweet. Level 70!" She smiled, putting her sword in the sheath. She looked up at the sky. -Two months... I can't believe it's been two months since that jerk tricked us...- She sighed, heading back down the trail. "Guess it's time to head back to the Front Lines... Kirito and Asuna are probably ready to plan our next attack..." She was a solo player; she hated being tied down by this "group", but she figured it was better than being a part of Asuna's gody Knights of the Blood Oath. She looked through her inventory, taking out a healing potion and drinking it as she walked; she refused to let her health go below half. She was going to make it out of this game if it killed her.

Suki walked into a dark abandoned building, pulling down the hood of her cape. She looked around the room; it was dimly lit with candles. "I'm home, everyone!" she called out, setting her cloak down on the couch. She looked at the wall, sighing. She couldn't believe she actually joined up with these jerks. She became the very thing she swore from day one she'd never be: a red player. A member of the Laughing Coffin Guild. She's basically given up. After Asuna and Kirito laid that bombshell down in the Town of Beginnings two months ago, she lost all hope. She didn't care if she lived or died. If she pked or not. That's why she finally joined this damned guild. That, and because of him. "Grell? You home?"

Ryu sighed as he walked through a forest. He didn't know which floor he was on and he personally didn't care. When Kirito and his friends had revealed Kyaba's intentions, he didn't let it bother him that much. The teen had come to enjoy the game and figured that he might as well make the most of it. At this point, he was around level 75 and had a good build for a axmen such as himself: high health, attack, and speed. Most other stats went by the wayside. He normally spent his time meditating to see if he could still feel his body in the real world. So far, his results have been fruitless.

Dawn groaned as she woke up in a inn and stretched slightly before grabbing her sword. When she began the game, she had never really held a weapon, but now she felt like she would die if she didn't have her sword with her. In this case, that would be very true. Like most solo players, she farmed for money and xp for most of the day and sometimes headed into town for the night to get repairs. The girl then remembered seeing a teen with black hair entering the forest and figured that she might as well join him.

Oliver crossed into a pathway of a town. "This is it Pipi! This is where I'm going to level up to lv. 60!" Pipi chirped in joy sort of. Oliver opened the menu, to look at his main level. "Only 10 levels away, Pipi! I'm- I mean we, are so close!" Oliver closed the menu, and fixed his sailor hat. "Maybe we can save up our gold to buy ourselves a cabin on the lakeside!" Pipi tweeted another cheer, "-And of course I'll buy you a snack while we're here."

Miyu noticed a rather lively character walking into the city she was entering. She walked up to him, tapping his shoulder. "Excuse me, sir, are you looking to level up fast?" she asked, noticing him talking about leveling. "I'm suppose to be meeting up with a couple people, but I'm sure they'll understand. I can take you to an amazing spot with low-level monster that give pretty decent XP." She shifted her weight, her sheath rattling against her. She was quite a looker. Platinum blond hair, piercing ice blue eyes, and a body that any girl would kill for.

Suki sighed, looking in the fridge. "Guess he's out... Or maybe he didn't hear me..." She grabbed a sandwich.

Evelyn heard Suki's arrival and walked down the stairs coming into view. "I have no clue where he went. He always disappears when it suits him." I had my hood down with my brown eyes showing in the dim light. "However, we have reports of a small party adventuring in our section of the forest. I think it's time we showed them the error of their ways." A small smile visible on my face now.

Ryu sighed as he came out into a clearing and began to meditate. He got a strange feeling of familiarity while doing this and was more in tune with his surrounding as well.

Dawn soon found her way to the forest and traversed the shady environment. She had always enjoyed walking through the forest near her home and figured that this was as close she was going to get. She was luck that the boy had left tracks in the dirt for her to follow. "I wonder what this kid is doing." She thought to herself.

Suki blinked, looking back at her. "Grell's probably going to take the group on himself. Probably where he went," she said coldly, plopping down on the couch and taking a bite out of her sandwich. "We could always just go kill some monsters to gain XP so we could start eliminating higher level players."

Dawn soon came out of the forest and into the same clearing as Ryu and saw him sitting against a tree, seemingly asleep. "Um... hey. What are you doing out here?" She asked, as she sat a few feet in front of him. The teen had no idea what he would do when around others and figured that she might as well keep herself safe.

Ryu groaned as he opened his eyes and was surprised to say the least to see Dawn. "I was just meditating for a bit. It helps calm my nerves." He said. The teen felt his anxiety levels increase at his proximity to Dawn. To be quite honest, he had never really thought about a relationship with anyone, even before he had gone into SAO.

"Level up fast? Sure! It has taken me a while to reach 60 levels... Maybe years, perhaps from my minor break. Anywaays, I'm Oliver. And my little bird here, is Pipi." Pipi tweeted a greeting. Oliver was that person who still looked like he was 10, but he looked cute. Of course with Pipi sitting on the war hammer on his back made it official that he was a beast trainer, but his sailor clothing made him easily mistakened to be a fishermen.

"I was thinking about finding a potential group to infiltrate and utterly decimate from existence. We'd need someone willing to infiltrate other groups though. Our last contact failed miserably." I said irritated. "I guess wolfs will do for now until we get something worthwhile in this place. Let's go, hopefully Grell saved some fun for us." I headed out the door then, either way I'd have some blood today, I thought with a smirk.

Miyu gave a slightly seductive half smile, extending her hand. "My name is Miyu. It's a pleasure to meet you." She took his hand in hers, shaking it respectively. You could definitely tell she hangs around Kirito and Asuna. Her clothing is styled like Asuna's, but has the same color palette as Kirito's. One of her swords were on her hip, the other on her back; the sword on her hip was a black, shimmery sword, whereas the one on her back was pure white with a red gem.

Suki sighed, standing up. "A break would be nice every once in a while. Don't always think about yourself, Evelyn." She grabbed her cloak and shoved past Evelyn, making sure to knock her down. -I just got back from a mission, and I can't even enjoy a simple meal before being forced into another one? Seriously??- she thought, storming out of the building.

(oh and Sriracha, please use third person when in this role play. Thank you :) )

Miyu blinked, stumbling back. "H-hey! Watch it, you id-" She blinked, blushing. Shook her head, sighing. "Watch how you teleport next time. You could have seriously injured one of us." This guy was cute; a lot cuter than Kirito. -I wonder if he'd join the front lines with us...-

Ryu and Dawn heard Greil's voice through the calm of the forest and gave each other a quick nod before running towards the fight, weapons drawn. Ryu didn't know how Dawn fought, but he knew what had worked for him thus far. Get in close, do as much damage as possible, and go absolutely ballistic when his abilitiy activated. The only problem was that he didn't know what the other person's fighting style was.

Dawn looked at Ryu and felt like she knew him from somewhere. The only problem was that she couldn't put her finger on the memory. Maybe if they met up later she could get a more fluid conversation out of him.

"You can't be too sure. No one knows if Kayaba has kept the safe zones on or not. Everyone just assumes they still are..." she sighed, straightening out her skirt. "Anyways, my name is Miyu. What's yours?" She let another half smile cross her lips, holding out her hand.

He shook her hand "ikaru and even if it isn't a safe zone it still would have been fine weak players don't come up here so you wouldn't have lost all your health and I have enough healing potions you'd be fine" ikaru said " anyways I'm heading to the shop I'll see you around" ikaru said

Ryu rushed out of the tree line and drew his axe, stopping behind the laughing coffin member. "Yeah. You should really keep quite when you're trying to kill someone. It attracts less attention." He said.

Dawn came out and stood behind Tempest with her sword drawn. She was ready for a fight. "What's the point of even killing others? Its not like we're going to get out of here." She said, glaring at Grell.

Miyu blinked, watching him go. She blinked, grabbing his hand. "W-wait! U-um, if you don't mind, I was fixing to show Oliver here a good place to level up quickly. W-would you uh maybe want to come with us?" she asked, shifting her weight. Her swords clanked as she moved.

(I can use 3rd person but 1st is so much better... :P)

Evelyn mused at Suki agilely getting back up. "Sure, you could just say no you sulking little duck. I like going solo sometimes too." Evelyn followed the way toward the path the unfortunate, (or fortunate in our case...) With some effort, we huffed it over to the sounds of action. There was one player left severely weakened. "I didn't realize you were so greedy Grell. You might have the courtesy to save us ladies some action next time," I told him rolling my eyes. The player tried to limp away but I paralyzed him with my sword bringing him to an inch of life with a quick strike in his remaining leg that wasn't injured. "Here Suki, since you have been so...moody lately. Consider this my gift," I said pointing to the victim now with my blade.

(Well I prefer 3rd person, so if you are going to be in the role play, please use 3rd person)

Suki sighed, taking out one of her blades. She swung it around by the chain, looking at the player. "I'm not moody. I'm hungry and you interrupted my meal," she sighed, slicing her blade down into the players spine. She smiled as they let out a blood curling scream, vanishing before her eyes.

Grell liked over at aiko and Evelyn " I figured you'd be to slow and suki would be resting" grell said them he turned his attention to the two players that had shown up "and I kill because they are on laughing codfins land and where trying to steal our resources that's the only reason I hadn't gotten you yet you was just talking and meditating" grell said

Ikaru went to his menu and made his level public he was level 87 "I don't really need to farm levels" ikaru said

Tempest sighed slightly and felt his anger grow. "Great, more crazies to deal with." He thought. The teen knew he was to late to save the other party, but he could at least reduce the amount of death that these people would cause in the future. The teen's sword then glowed black, the light eventually surrounding his body. "Don't give me that. I've seen what you kind of people do when people just look the other way, even in the real world.

Dawn did the same with her own, but her sword glowed a dark purple. "What resources could they possibly have stolen? It not like monsters don't respawn?" She thought to herself.

"My kind that seems like you're discriminating" grell opened his inventory and pulled out a sake of coin that had the laughing coffin emblem on it "they stole this from our guild hall so before you go assuming that I had no reason to kill you're wrong" grell said putting up his odachi and the coins "now if you'll excuse us we ned to go back to our guild hall" grell said
