Will there ever be fan favorite full character sets?

Couple years back, in 2013, Hasbro released 2 "Fan favorites" pony collections with brushables- one featuring Queen Chrysalis, Diamond Tiara, Shining Armor, Derpy, Lyra, Cadance, Lyrica Lilac- and the second featuring Nightmare Moon, Vinyl Scratch, Trixie, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Flower Wishes, and Lemony Gem. However, in both sets, you get nothing but brushables, and all of different characters. Do you think that we'll ever see "full" favorite character sets, (Vinyl Scratch Set, Derpy Set, Pinkie set, ect), with that 1 pony character having different toy/collectible versions of themselves, such as 1 brushable, 1 mystery Mini, 1 full-sized vinyl funko figure, and 1 blind bag figure (not actual blind bags, from the coded blind bags, but a mini figure were there's 3 or 4 ponies in a certain named set, such as Octavia, Lyra, and Lyrica Lilac in the "Groovin Hooves" collection set)

SHOULD there be sets like these, so that people can go after a certain character, and get 4 toys/ figures of their favorite, at once? (especially if there happens to be a harder to find version of that character in the set coughbrushableOctaviacough)

I would say I don't think its likely to happen, other then the things we've already gotten, but who knows...?

That's a good idea, but I think it's unlikely only because sales for those individual items are probably pretty high on their own, but you never know.

 

Personally I'd love to see more "favorites" sets with the brushables. The first two are really cool, but they're rather high-priced on the internet now (if anyone knows a more reasonably-priced place to find these, please let me know- thanks). If they made one with the white Celestia and other cool background ponies (like Octavia) that would be awesome!

Simple: Yes, she only appears in one episode for 2 seconds (Unfortunately.), but thanks to the way her small fanbase has portrayed her (Discords daughter n' all that), she became a favorite. I like the idea of how Discord, this all-powerful and unfeeling spirit of chaos would end up having a "Daughter" (Created by his magic, of course.) going along causing chaos with him. It just sounds so perfect to me. XD

Even if its not canon (I wish it was. :C ), I like the idea. A lot. XD

but what I'm saying is, does she have enough of a fanbase to warrant Hasbro to invest their money into making merchandise of a pony who's only been seen for all of 2 seconds, and not only earn back the money they put into making new molds of her unique design, but come out with full on profit of her? Realistically, for a pony who's only has 2 seconds of screen time, I can't see it happening (especially not a full character set). Maybe if her fanbase presses for her to reappear in the future, with more screen time, perhaps

Well, the 100th episode of mlp is going to feauture background characters so maybe they will make another set featuring them, it would be really cool. It could include Octavia, Vinyl Scratch and other ponies, and i also heard Cranky Doodle Donkey is going to be in the episode, so Hasbro could include a brushable of him in the set.

hmmm....seems like they should've been promoting those characters in their own individual sets long before the 100th episode. I mean, they did it with their other pony lines before the actual episodes aired.....

with the 100th episode around background characters only 3 weeks away, I'm starting to wonder if I should just abandon hope of Hasbro making and promoting fan character sets before it airs, rather than after the episode.

yeah, but I means like packaged sets of each specific character on their own, with what toys of them might've already been released (or new ones if they haven't been made yet). (Vinyl set, Lyra set, Derpy Set, etc.)
