Retro Game Stores?

The other day I dusted off my good ol' N64 to play some Star Fox and Super Mario. After playing both games for countless hours, I ran into a bit of a problem: those are the only two games I have for the damn thing. I live in Massachusetts and I was wondering if anyone knew of any retro game stores around? The only one I knew of that was really close to me was shut down last year and I'm having a hard time finding other places. Thanks in advance!

I heard Gamestop might be buying people's old games. I think they're gonna start selling them.

Worst case scenario you can always use Amazon or eBay or something. Those are your best bet at getting old games these days.

I don't live in Massachusetts so I wouldn't know, I'd say the best bet is to look them up. If not you'll probably have to try eBay or Amazon

The thing about getting them online is that I can NEVER find them within my budget. I'm just getting back on my feet financially so it's been a bit difficult when it comes to funds. But I have found a few good deals on Amazon for NES, so at least there's that.

Well, Amazon still sells old games, and I have a ton of games I could ship to you lel

That's so kind of you ;-; But I'd feel bad just taking your games :P

I may have to agree that amazon still sells old games so apparently that's where my friend bought 1 or 2 N64 games from that site. If you care more about your data and not doing the whole progress from the beginning again, that's where 3DS, wii, and wii-u virtual consoles, and xbox360 live arcade with an exception of banjo-kazooie, banjo-tooie, and perfect dark 64 comes in handy.

I would suggest making sure you're stable before spending money on games, particularly old ones. They can range from dirt cheap to really expensive if you want a decent copy. Always keep an eye out for sales though. I've gotten games on Amazon listed at $40-50 still for less than $20. Amazon's really good about sales.

There's a really good retro game store here were I live... which is unfortunately 3,000 miles from Massachusetts. :kindness: I know you said that online stores are usually out of your budget, but if you wanna check out their online store, here it is:

They do have a pretty good stock for some classic retro. :)

I'm sure the likes of Amazon are usually better for this kind of thing, but I just thought I'd show some more options. Hope you get sorted either way!
