movies/tv Most generically bad cartoon?

There are cartoons that are offensively terrible such as Breadwinners, modern Family Guy, and bad Spongebob episodes, and then there are cartoons that are just bad in a generic, uninspired sense. What's the most generically bad cartoon you've seen?

The first thing that comes to my mind is Johnny Test. The show doesn't really do anything offensive, but that doesn't make it a good show. Aside from it's cheap and stiff flash animation, the show is just lazy. Recycling episodes, jokes, plots, characters, and villains from every popular kids' show that did it better. The characters are selfish assholes and the title character in later seasons is one of the most bland, one-dimensional and unlikeable characters I've ever seen. Fourtunatley Season 1 is actually pretty decent, so if you're going to watch this show, stick to season 1.

Johnny Test, as much as I hate it, is not the worst cartoon I've ever had the displeasure to see. This is piece of trash:

Only problem they solved was themselves. Thank goodness it's canceled.

Funny thing is, The show was originally pitched to Adult Swim as Neon Knome. However, they pawned it off to Cartoon Network due to it looking "too cute". It was obvious Cartoon Network never cared about this show, they hardly promoted it, never aired reruns, and ignored it's 2nd season.

Wait...ADULT SWIM THOUGHT THAT ABOMINATION LOOKED "TOO CUTE"?!?!?! REALLY?!?!?!

Generically bad? Like meh? Well, Johnny Test is bad in a lazy way but I feel one generically bad cartoon is My Gym Partner's a Monkey. This is one of the shows that started the trend of pandering to kids through typical butt jokes. 90% of the jokes in this show were about the monkey's butt. Also, the characters are annoying and the plots are a stew of why even bother?

i think mine might be generic response
but for now, all i can think of is johnny test

i think its pretty ovs why

thought i do wanna add one thing
what made a show like ed, edd n' eddy unique was its large amounts of sound effects, and because of it they never get old.
would you love to listen to 190 uses of whip sound effects? nah. bad designers, bad.

This show should have a seizure warning before it starts.

Stoked: It was just boring and uninteresting. If you want to watch an interesting cartoon that involves some surfing, then look no further than Rocket Power.

Jay Jay The Jet Plane: The animation of it looks horrible. Though children would like the educational aspect of it. Be seriously, I mean, look at this: :o

Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: To me, this is the worst Mickey Mouse cartoon in my opinion. In my opinion, Mickey Mouse and his gang mixed with CGI and a show aimed at preschoolers doesn't feel right to me.

Caillou: What can I say, the characters in it are too unlikeable to be considered a good cartoon. Especially the main character, who whines too much. Though the animation of it isn't bad.

Oh I forgot about 6Teen. Just a bunch of generic teenagers working at a generic teenage setting, the Mall

tbf Rocket Power wasn't any better. Personally I like it but mostly out of nostalgia, but otherwise it was REALLY a product of it's time

Okay, I just decided to look up that "Problem Solverz" show on youtube, because I've never heard of it before. That was probably the weirdest shit I've ever seen. I've never seen anything that bizarre before, whoever made that was on some serious drugs. I can't beleive it actually aired on TV!

I would agree with most of you that Johnny Test was pretty generically bad. There was really nothing special about it. Back at The Barnyard was pretty shit in my opinion as well.

Star vs. The Forces of Evil

Son, you've got a way to fall.

I'd really like to know how Star is a generic cartoon show. (I assume the discussion is about unironically generic shows.)

I hated ed,edd and eddy as well as total drama island. I was never really a cartoon network kid since it had the worst show's in my opinion and adult swim i was not allowed to watch growing up so i learned to hate adult animation and got everything from nickalodeon crammed in my brain. I loved spongebob until the show went downhill when i was 13-15 now I'm 17 and spongebob i think got cancelled after It's last movie which is sad to see my favorite child hood cartoon fade away.

I don't know if any of you remember this one, but Nick a little while ago came out with this show based off of the "Tak and the Power of Juju" games.  It ended up being horrible, and similarly a terrible representation of the games.

I really don't understand why people like it. It's just another show trying to be Adventure Time.

Huh. That's weird. I don't pick up any Adventure Time vibe from Star. Sure, there's a quirky teenage protagonist and her sidekick -- except those tropes are older than Finn and Jake. To me, Star is an affectionate sendup of magical girl shows (e.g., Sailor Moon; Card Captor Sakura) -- hardly what I would call "generic."

I'll put it this way: I watched an episode blind, and I didn't laugh once.

I'm inclined to chalk that up to having different tastes. I don't see the connection between that and Star supposedly being a wannabe Adventure Time show, however.
