List of things I do while home alone

 

I scream and make various weird noises when I'm home alone

Sometimes I experiment with my own vocal ranges

I laugh like a fucking idiot when I see something barely funny

I browse this forum as well as a few imageboards

among other things.

When I'm home alone I:

Play my guitar on max volume w/ max gain and stand about 15 feet away from the amp

 

Sing REALLY FUCKING LOUD, which is weird because I am normally a quiet person.

I'm an absolute sunglasses addict, and I can't for the life of me tell you why. Of course, I also wear my class ring and another ring depicting the grille of an Edsel every day, and a man wearing rings is a bit unusual in my country, as well.

Weird things that I do, huh?  Gosh!  Where to start?!

 

-I sleep on the couch instead of my bed sometimes, because it is more comfortable.  Sometimes I even sleep on the floor for the same reason.

 

-You know how most people like to eat soft pretzels with cheese?  Well, I prefer to eat mine with mustard.  Maybe not so weird to some, but I have yet to meet anyone who doesn't think that is weird.  

 

-I like eating lemons and salt, though I am sure I am not the only person who enjoys that.  I will say, however, that I do not do it very often because it completely destroys your teeth!

 

-I listen to music really loud in the car, with the windows down, while dancing like a mad man.  

 

-I also like to practice voices while I am driving to and from places alone.

 

-This might not be weird to y'all, but definitely is to everyone else!  Today while commuting to college, I rolled down my windows and blasted the MLP theme song as loud as I possibly could just for fun.  I can't tell you how hard I laughed when I saw those heads turning!  Best day of my freaking life, let me tell ya! :lol:

What a coincidence! I also find sleeping on floors to be more comfortable than in a bed. In my many quests to avoid having to share a bed on school and church outings, I have also slept in a bathtub and on a coffee table (well, until said coffee table nearly broke, at which point I found the floor to be a safer gamble. )

 

I also blast music, windows down, and head bob when in the car. I'll even turn on my heater and roll down my windows in 40 degree temperatures. Having your windows down just feels so right.

What a coincidence! I also find sleeping on floors to be more comfortable than in a bed. It's difficult for me to answer this question because I'm so close to my own weirdness. x3  I've written / drawn some pretty odd things.  For example: I wrote a rhyming poem (and later a sequel) about the epic adventure of a magic-wielding potato named Tom Spud.  I make up ridiculous OCs that are essentially bulletproof to fandom criticism because I don't take them in the least bit seriously.  Corncob, the cockatrice-turned-alicorn who gained his alicornatrice status during an intense game of checkers against his archenemy Tony (a squirrel with a mechanical paw).

I do a lot of "weird" things, such as:

 

Twisting my fingers together when I'm bored.

Tendency to talk to myself when playing a video game, watching TV, or in the shower.

Can walk backwards for seemingly no reason.

Stretching my arms backwards.

I do things. Things that are weird.

 

-I rock back and forth 90% of the time when I am sitting.

-I tend to do nervous twitches.

-I sing random things, like random lyrics to a made up tune when I am alone.

-I almost always have to watch videos while I am eating.

-I watch videos about food if I am really hungry.

 

And there are other things I do I think. I am a weird person, even if those things are probably not too out there. Plus I am autistic so...That probably explains my odd behaviors.

-I study World of Warcraft lore more studiously than real history. 

-I have a tendency to speak words faster than I can think them, leading to really weird sentence structure.

-I ALWAYS say "Excuse me" when I burp. Even when I'm alone. Sometimes I'll say it under my breath very quietly that only I hear it.

(I don't know why I do. I just do.)

-I sing random lyrics from certain songs and mix them up together to make a new one when I'm bored (for some reason)

-I always double click things such as reply buttons or such. I always do. I'm going to double tap the post button right now on my iPad as we speak :P

Okay. I'm not sure is this is the weirdest thing I do but here I go :P. So what happens is that I get a glimpse of something that happens in the future. A vision! And then it actually happens and then I remember that I had the vision

I don't know if I do anything particularly strange.

I convert MP3 files I download to Ogg Vorbis because Vorbis is free of software patents, provided that the source MP3 is a high enough bitrate for there to be no noticeable loss of quality.

It almost seems pointless because I have low quality MP3 files on my music player that I can't convert without a loss in quality, which means I still end up using the patent-violating MP3 codec.

 

That practice of mine is somewhat idealistic, then. You may not realize how odd this is if you are ignorant on audio codecs and software patents.

(I hate software patents, and believe they do more harm than good.)
