I literally cannot find a single positive comment of these episodes. Seriously these episodes are hilarious...I for one not only love them but think that they're way better than the earlier seasons...Why does everyone hate these episodes so much? I seriously don't get it at all.

Depends. I don't think all of the modern Spongebob episodes are bad, if you look past some of the bad episodes there are some really good gems like "Two Faces of Squidward" and "Not Normal", and while I'm in the minority, I actually liked "House Fancy" a lot(though mostly because Squidward comes out on top)

There are actually modern Spongebob episodes that are good. I actually think Season 9 is an improvement over the previous few seasons. I thought episodes like Sing a Song of Patrick are funnier than most older episodes.

But there are bad episodes like A Pal For Gary and Gullible Pants which makes me want to break the TV. But the most recent christmas special It's a Spongebob Christmas, I thought that was a lot better than Christmas Who. So there are episodes I like from both classic and modern Spongebob and episodes I dislike from both.

So modern Spongebob is not all that bad and If you like some of the newer episodes then you just enjoy them more.

Depends which ones. Sand Castles in the Sand is very popular, along with others like The Slumber Party or Plankton's Pet. But far too many of them are just factually awful like The Card, Choir Boys, Truth or Square, A Pal for Gary, or Spongebob You're Fired. There are so many reasons:

  1. The setting has become much, much meaner. When the characters misbehave or are just plain cruel to the protagonists, the protagonists (or characters who are in the right) are often victimized for no reason at all. Gone! and One Coarse Meal are two obvious examples.

    Speaking of OCM…
  2. Characterizations are often deplorable. Patrick Star has either become much stupider, a bigger dick, or both. The notorious Card and Pet Sitter Pat are obvious examples.

Another is One Coarse Meal. This is easily Krabs's worst characterized episode for one reason: he stalked and harassed Plankton so much that Plankton attempted suicide! Even worse, Krabs gets away with it.
  3. The jokes are either tasteless, unfunny, or both. The suicide jokes in OCM and Are You Happy Now? are realistic, but done simply to mock the victim. Then there's the vile "popper" joke from Spongebob to Mrs. Puff in Demolition Doofus after finding out she can't puff again.
  4. Squidward getting tortured "just because." It's not funny. It's cringeworthy. It's mean. It's pointless.

The one big plus m!Spongebob has over the classic half is the animation. Thanks to technology, the animation is smoother and cleaner. Unfortunately, sometimes the animation helps make the cringeworthy or disgusting bits even more uncomfy to watch. The story is the backbone; far too many modern!Spongebob episodes stink, whereas the Scumbobs from the classic half are fewer in between.
