What's your favorite type of potato?

So, most of us eat or have had a potato some time in our life, there are many kinds! Baked, petite, etc. So, what type of potato is your favorite, and what do you prefer on your potato?

 

To start us off, my favorite type of potato are Russet Potatoes!

FINALLY, A TOPIC I UNDERSTAND.

Golden potatoes are the best potatoes because you can fry then and the fries won't be limp, you can boil them and the mashed potato will melt in your mouth, and when you mash hash browns with them you can die happy. Golden potatoes and russet potatoes alternate in my top spot because they have the same benefits, but it takes two goldens to take on one russet.

Sweet potatoes with marshmellows on top. Tastes more like a dessert that way. I also like a baked potato with cheese and bacon. And Fries are great and so is baked potato soup.

I like Yukon gold baby potatoes best.  I make them with poultry seasoning, Lawry's sea salt and garlic salt, depending.  I cook them in

 

grape seed oil, which doesn't smoke easily so works well for small potatoes but really all potatoes.

Mashed potatoes are the best, I just love mashed potatoes (even plain). I don't know of any other types of potatoes, so I'm just gonna have to say that normal potatoes are my favorite.

I love baked potato, second is mashed potato, and third is of course fried potatoes. Favorite kind? California Rose potato. On my potato would be butter, salt, pepper, bacon or some herbs.
