Now, by nature this topic is gonna be rather dark, but bear with me. Now, as we know from common sense, death will never be truly referenced in FiM. But, those of us who are older know that death really does exist in Equestria, and its shown in ways that tug at the heart; such as the shooting stars in Apple Family Reunion. But the example that gets me the most is two little moments from Read It and Weep and its following episode, Hearts and Hooves Day:

 

Yeah...

 

But that's not all. Not only does death exist in Equestria, there's also the potential for Hell to exist as well, in the form of Tartarus. Tartarus, according to Greek mythology, is the place where wicked souls received divine punishment and also serves as a prison for the Titans. Sound familiar?

 

Anyway, those are my thoughts on death in Equestria. What are yours?
