[Lord Loki]

"What's it like? The clouds I mean. It's something I've always wondered. Us unicorns and Earth ponies cant touch them like pegasi can.". Overdrive rolled onto his back and looked at schwartz upside-down.

"How to describe the clouds."
*Schwartz put a hoof under her chin and thought.*
"The clouds are soft, but firm at the same time. They are made of miniscule molecules of water, in gaseous form, so sleeping in a cloud for an hour cleans your coat about as thuroghly as a ten minute bath. I dont really know how else to describe them, fluffy, fragile, it all depends on how the cloud is made."

Looking at the omelet and back to Midnight, he smiled. He knew he was worried, and shook his head. "No, it's perfect." He then took a fork and began to split the omelet into smaller pieces before taking his first bite out of it. Upon taking his first bite, the flavors exploded in his mouth as he chewed it up, a slight "mmmm" escaping his lips before swallowing the bite. "And it's delicious too," he added. "You're a great cook."

Midnight swallowed and smiled "t-thank you." he took his own fork and began cutting into it, and smiled taking the bite and couldnt help but giggle, "mmm, i should cook more often then."
he then facehoofed, "you want anything to drink?"

Electrobolt chuckled when he saw Midnight facehoof himself. "Juice would be fine," he responded, taking another bite of the omelet. And with that bite was another flavor explosion in his mouth. And he savored every single flavor of that bite.

midnight looked in the fridge and pulled out the bottle, then reached up and grabbed acouple of glasses, thankfully they werent too high up, but his body still gnawed at him, telling him to stop with all the movement.
he bit his tounge keeping quite and sat there shaking for a moment, waiting for the pain to go away.

"Being a royal guard is like being a member of a family that relies heavily on trust. All of my most treasured memories come from my time as a guard, falling in love, then losing her to that horrible incident....."
*She looked away for a second holding in her tears.*
"My brothers and I were required to enlist, but Im glad we did, even though I carry some regret in my heart. We started out pretty high in the rankings, being Luna's adopted children and all, but nopony really expected us, especially me, to rise to such high positions on skill alone. We went through the training, learned our place, and we each got assigned our squads. It felt great knowing that there was finally somewhere I belonged. Where I fit in. But then, I lost it all, in the blink of an eye, it was gone."
*Schwartz couldnt hold her tears in any longer. She collapsed into Overdrive's arms and started sobbing.*

[Electrobolt]

Electrobolt looked over to Midnight and frowned when he saw Midnight having trouble with getting the juice poured. He stood up and walked over to Midnight and whispered to him, "Hey... Go ahead and rest... I can handle everything else for now, ok? You should let your body heal up..." After whispering to Midnight, Electrobolt took the glass and the bottle, then poured the juice into the glass. "I'll be alright, so don't worry about me..." he added, sneaking in a little kiss before returning to the table with the juice.

*She thought for a second.*

"shhhhhh. Hey now... You did what you could, right?" overdrive crooned as he gently rubbed her back with a hoof, right between the wings (comfortingly, not sexually). "don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened". He looked down at her with a reassuring smile. "I'm sure she was beautiful."

Midnight smiled gratefully and snuck in a return kiss of his own before slowly making his way back to the table, "t-thank you."
he began to eat again, and with the help of alex, it made his body shake less, so he could at least act like he wasnt in that much pain at the moment.

"shhhhhh. Hey now... You did what you could, right?" overdrive crooned as he gently rubbed her back, right between the wings (comfortingly, not sexually). "don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened". He looked down at her with a reassuring smile. "I'm sure she was beautiful."

"Bu it wasnt just that, she was kind, smart, witty, and more, and I led her and all the others to their deaths. I could have saved them, but I was a coward, I ran. I broke the code of honor and trust that we all held so dear. And the worst part, was the look in her eyes as I fled, such a look of love and hatred, betrayal, the eyes of one with a broken heart. But still I fled, broken and bleeding, until I was free from the darkness of the ancient tomb. But I wasnt free, that darkness comtinues to haunt me to this day....."

Electrobolt smiled as he saw Midnight eating, before taking another bite of his own omelet. "It's quite alright," he replied after his mouth was empty. He noticed Midnight was still shaky, but not so much. At least he was sitting down at the table, so his mind was at ease. But then, his mind wandered back to seeing Midnight and Scopes out by the cliff. "By the way..." he began. "How did you find out Scopes was about to jump anyways...?"

Midnight blushed, "i-its something of a sense, i have....l-like pinky sense, b-but this is a little diffrent, i-im not sure how, but it led me to the cliff, i saw him jump and knew i only had one chance, so i unwrapped my wing and jumped myself..."
he looked down "kind of a stupid idea in retrospect, but it worked, i managed to catch scopes inches from the ground, with how much good that did me." he lightly rubbed his freshly broken wing.
he sighed, "at least he didnt jump again."

[Electrobolt]

Letting out a sigh, Electrobolt responded, "Yeah, I'm glad he didn't try to jump again..." He looked to the side, still remembering the moment he had seen earlier. "I... I just wish I had been there sooner though... Had I been there earlier, then... Maybe this wouldn't have happened..." A small tear began to form in his eye, as he remembered the scene where Scopes had just walked off the cliff.

Overdrive swayed her back and forth, and started singing. (Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls). He gave her a sad smile when he finished and gently wiped the tears from her eyes.

*Scwartz looked into Overdrive's eyes again, once again seeing the kindness in them. She smiled back at him.*
"Could you, stay here with me tonight? Just, comfort me in case my old nightmares come back. Please?"

(Gotta go to bed now. This is not sexual at all, she just wants him to sleep in the same bed as her, to sleep in the comfort of his arms. No sex. So Ten, I want you to hold to this while you have control until I return. Goodnight everybrony.)

midnight slowly approached, making sure he wasnt shaking and wiped electroboltss tear away, "hey, you did something, tried to catch him, couldnt have asked for more then that." he smiled and gave electro a soft kiss on the muzzle, then smiled and hugged him tightly.
"mabey you helped my sense a bit." he added with a small smile

Electrobolt looked up to Midnight and let out a small smile. "You think so... Huh...?" He then gave another light kiss to Midnight as he hugged him tightly too. *I'm lucky to have you, Midnight...* he thought, his face turning a bright shade of red.
