Now no I'm not speaking of child abuse or anything like it. I have a situation at high school where the girl I like keeps hitting me, only me for some reason. She doesn't do it hard nor thinks of it seriously.

This in itself to me is an oxymoron of how hitting can be good. Hitting is usually bad but I've read muitiple times that hitting ( in high school) that hitting somebody was a way of expressing emotion or something of that sort. And I can see how that is possible.

You wouldn't touch somebody you weren't comfortable with right? Nether the less this can't be easily proven for it could be applicable to muitiple situations. I would think in my situation it would be good…maybe…

Thoughts?

You could either be friend zoned (she's just doing it in a playful friendly matter) or she's flirting on you :P

Awww, TTC has a crush :3

Are you a flincher? Because that would bite if she hit you when you didn't expect it and WHAM! reflexes put your fist through her nose.

You act like I haven't been talking about her this whole time!

I try not buy when I don't and she hits hard it's like "God that hurt!!!" in my mind

I think she is showing affection ;)

Affection?…Affection! That's what she's been doing this whole time?! I need to take her 2 punches a day more seriously if that's it.

I don't like being hit. Period. Hitting me, no matter how lightly or jokingly, is pretty much the fastest way to get me to not like you.

It's obnoxious at best, straight up.

I lol'd. From what I've observed, no its not a good thing, and when I throw punches, I don't intend it to be a good thing either.

Just a quick question, where is she hitting you?

I lol'd again

It really depends, I would need to see it in action first.

Ask the reason. If it isn't good, punch them in the face.

If it's a girl, avoid the rules by punching her with HER fist.

I wouldn't even consider the playful light hitting as actual hitting. In my honest opinion.

Hmm. I've heard of guy punching other guys in jest, and girls punching guys in jest. Never guys punching girl though 0_o
I'd probably ask, but it'd be a strange subject to bring up.

"Hey, can I ask you a question?"
"Sure, what is it?"
"Can I punch you?"

At first, I thought you meant hitting as in flirting with you. But, anyway, she might like you in some way... :)

That seems to be it. Flirting comes a lot on this thread but that's not the actual topic but it does answer my question. Obviously Hittingim some situations can be qualified as flirting. I guess I'm blind because she'd been sending me signals for the last 3 weeks hehe...
