[Champion RD92]

Which game will you guys be getting this year? Halo 4? Black Ops 2? Both? Neither?

Honestly, I'll probably end up getting both, although I am definitely looking forward to Halo 4 much more than Black Ops 2. The last CoD game was disappointing for me, so I am not expecting much from Black Ops 2.

CoD? I've always hated the series after CoD MW2.

As much as I would love to re-buy Call of Duty Black Ops with a neat looking 2 plastered on it, I think my money would be better off being exchanged for a game from a series that at least tries to improve.

I think I get Halo 4 just to see how 343 industries can handle the Halo series.
I will be REALLY disappointed if they ruin Bungies work.

Neither, since I'm exclusively a PC-gamer, but if I had a 360, I would definitely get Halo 4.

I'll probably end up renting Black Ops 2 to play through the campaign if it comes to Wii or Wii U(as long as I can play it with a Wiimote). Can't play Halo 4 since I don't have an Xbox, but I am slightly interested in it.

8 player zombies sound fun, consequently tis the reason I'm only getting the game.

I only really use games as a social tool. CoD can't splitscreen except for 4 players on one console, but my parties are too big for that, usually (Usually around 5-6 friends total if it's a really big deal, more like 2-3 more often, though). Also, I hate the walking along then BAM you're dead and you don't even know where it came from. The fact that there aren't organized sides like in Battlefield just makes it worse. (I used to play Battlefield 1942 on pc, then Battlefield 2 pc, long time ago. Best FPS EVER IMO.)

So, just because of Forge, how customizable game modes are, and the ability to system link or go online WITH 4 people on the console, means I'll be getting Halo.

And maybe what Brony Bolt's doing.

I might just rent CoD for he campaign. Not much interest in that chaotic multiplayer that's just addictive (I've wasted days on it before, then I thought - I'm wasting days to unlock more guns on a game so I can play the game better. I need to stop, lol). Just more frustrating than fun, the multiplayer is.

But the campaigns are always really epic, and let you do cool stuff like operate vehicles and other things you can't do in Multiplayer.

Like play as a Juggernaut (MW 3, I think it was)

Wow, after about a week of inactivity, with a history of deep philosophical debates on meaningful issues, and discussing psychology, science, philosophy, religion...
After about a week of absence, I come back for just one post, and it's about Halo 4 or CoD?

Lol, yeah, it was on the "New Threads", and I decided I could do a quickie. Really chaotic with a research paper and stuff right now. I'll be in the community more during summer.

Actually if you look at the trend, Black Ops is the side of the Franchise that "has" been trying to improve. Infinity Ward actually rejected making MW# when the other company went under because they were busy trying to do new Stuff with BO2. From what I've heard it's supposed to be set in the Future, and at least for me, the Multiplayer in BO is So much better than MW it's like night and day.

Split Screen in Black Ops doesn't require you to unlock anything to create classes so that if you have friends over, EVERYONE is on a level playing field, unlike Modern Warfare. The Experience System is better designed in Black Ops, (though I do hope they do something to fix the unlocking everything twice flaw) and the weapons in Black Ops are more realistic to what they are than in Modern Warfare, the biggest Example being the Famas which is one of the fastest firing assault rifles in existence In real life, Modern warfare nerfed to a 3 round burst and in Black Ops, It's full Auto, like it's supposed to be. The only thing I like in MW that they don't have in Black Ops is the new Dog Tag System to stop Campers

But yeah, to my point. The CoD Franchise at this point are two completely different Franchises at this point, you have MW who only cares about making money off of the name alone, and you have Infinity Ward, who are actually trying to be innovative with their games and fix problems and glitches that fps gamers have been complaining about. The ONLY thing that they need to fix in split screen is the AI for the bots. Other than that, Black Ops >>>>>>>>>> than Modern Warfare.

Now back to the topic though, personally, Black Ops 2. Mainly because I like realistic Shooters more than I do fantasy shooters. I'll probably still play Halo 4, but buy, I'll buy BO2 before Halo 4
