Twilight only has one horn. Gatling guns have multiple barrels that rotate as each one is loaded and then fired. Twilight IS NOT a Gatling Gun! She is rapid fire though. What Pinkie is doing is closer to "Fanning" a revolver. Better yet, Twilight is a Thompson submachine gun.

Are Thompson submachine guns "driven" with a rotating hand maneuver?

No, Tommy guns had a traditional trigger. They had bar clips, and also the iconic drums to hold the ammunition. Like I said though, Gatling guns had multiple barrels that rotated. Twilight has only ONE horn. I also happen to know that Tommy guns kick upward a bit. People would hold them sideways to get a good spread when firing.

However, Pinkie IS rotating Twilight's tail.
Also, in sheer size, Twilight is far more closer to a gatling than a Thompson MG.
And, it do look to me as if the Thompson also has a rotating ... is it ammoclip? you just doesn't see it rotate.
... Or do you mean that all of the Gatling gun's barrels fires at once?

A Gatling Gun's barrels rotate. They don't fire all at once. Each in turn is loaded and then fired at whatever rate the crank turned it. The drum magazine for a Tommy gun did not rotate, per say. Internally the belt of rounds was arranged pretty much in a coil as it fed into the firing chamber.
