We all love games right?
And we all love Easter eggs?

I find some easter eggs to be VERY entertaining, if there is one thing i like to do in a video game, it is to look for Easter eggs in the game.

Easter eggs are basicly hiden stuff within the game.
It might be an image, a sound, or something els.

But my favorite and most disturbing one got to be the hidden sound from the zombies in HL2.
If you reverse the noises they are making you can hear them screaming for help.

It really freaks me out.

Another freaky one is in World of Warcraft.
We all know Lorderon as a creepy ruined castle, but do you think you know it all?
You know the clocktower? Stand there, turn the music volume to 0 and max the background noise.
You will hear the clocks are going but you can clearly see that they are laying before you, as you move forward into the castle you will start to hear a crowd cheering for you. And as you make it into the throne room you will hear a low and cold discussion between Arthas and the King. [The cinematics inside the room]
Also note that there is blood on the floor where the crown hit.

Creepy if you ask me.

Do you guys know about any interesting easter egg?

I always loved how Samus and Link are both sleeping in Super Mario RPG Legend of the Seven Stars.

"Here lies Link" is written on a tombstone in Final Fantasy also I think..

I know a bunch of others but I can't seem to think of them right now

Can't say I've ever been one to find easter eggs and if I have, I don't know the reference(s). :/
I'm just looking forward for the secret pony level in Diablo III. I need to find it ASAP!

Oh I know an interesting eater egg in WoW (I know quite a few but one at a time I say, my memory sucks xD). Go into Outland in the northern most zone called Netherstorm. There are floating rocks all over the place. on one of those rocks is a grave that reads "Nova". this is the grave of Starcraft Ghost, a Blizzard project never to see the light of day.

How about a little bit of Final Fantasy trivia! In final fantasy 5 they introduced a character that has quite a following by the name of Gilgamesh, a 6 armed swordsman that has one of the best theme songs from the series to date! He appears in both Final Fantasy 9 and 12 as cameo's for those who'd recognize him however you need to do quite a bit to get it. in Final Fantasy 9 it comes to treasure hunting in which he tells you he is a bad treasure hunter, the other reference to it is if you can reach the final boss within 12 hours of gameplay you find a weapon with a note that is written by Gilgamesh's faithful companion about how he knows that swords have always been his cup of tea. He also appears in Final Fantasy 12 as an optional boss where he both shows how stupid he is, and how much of a bad ass he is. His 6 swords are also all difference swords from the other final fantasy games. Little nods I just found to be amusing.

Last one I swear, for you League of legends players. In the Autumn map of the game there is a ghost that pops up named Urf the Manatee, the Legend. Based of an April fools joke a few years back the joke ended that one of the champions in the league (Warwick) killed him and skinned him (He had a manatee skin available for a while) and now if Warwick goes onto that map and wonders near Urf, Urf will attack him for a staggering 1 damage! This will activate certain abilities (I saw it kill someone one once in a sense). Example: This one Warwick had low health (Aprox. 100) and had a banshee's veil (negates the effect of the next spell that would hit him every 45 seconds) wish a global range spell heading his way (Enchanted Crystal arrow). Well Urf hit him and broke the Banshee's veil and the arrow hit Warwick in the face for a killing blow xD.

One of the longest easter egg I've ever seen:

I mean seriously, how was it eaven possible to find this? It must have been leaked or something because it's impossible to figure this out without help or leaks.. And yes, it actually works (I've tried it)

If you think thats long, you BETTER check out the one's in Call of the Dead, Shangri-La, and Moon (Moon's easter egg is ridiculous, but Shangri-La's is worse IMO :o)

I completed the main easter egg in Call of the Dead (It was a happy moment :D), and I got the Wunderwaffe DG-2 (Wonder Waffle :P) as a reward! Yay for shooting lightning at yer zombies :)

Well, I know that :P. I have the classic Zombie maps for Black Ops . The reward for the others is great, though. The easter egg for Shangri-La gives you ALL the perks, even after death :o. Its incredibly hard, like I said though. I'm not even sure whats the full reward for completing the Moon easter egg. I know Earth gets blown up and Richtofen's body is swapped with Samantha Maxis (The girl who controls the zombies :)) somewhere near the end :o.

No need to thank me.

That cutscene was amazing back in WarCraft III, it still looks amazing. Lordaeron fell apart and the Scourge moved it.

The best part about that one is that it was added in the middle of a lawsuit between the two companies.

One of my favorite easter eggs is in any game is in Alice: Madness Returns. In a certain area you can find a very peculiar skeleton.

I always enjoyed some of the extra stuff thrown into Working Designs games back in the day, although I guess they weren't all that "hidden".

Magic Knight Rayearth (Saturn)
Posted Image
Alundra (PlayStation)
Posted Image
and Lunar: Eternal Blue (Sega CD and Playstation)

Working Designs games were full of stuff like that just randomly thrown into the dialogue.

Oh my goodness I love Alundra! Okay I was replaying an old SNES game and I remembered these two. From Secret of Evermore, it would seem they tried to throw in a few little references to Square's other games of the time namely Final Fantasy 4 and 6!

From FF4 a little talk from Cecil.

Or perhaps Final Fantasy 6 is more your thing, reconize these faces?

Mog's my favorite character from that game. I made him dual wield spears xD Mo
