Doesn't have to involve ghosts/aliens, ect. It can be something like someone stalking you. The creepiest thing that I can think of at the moment is this: My niece and I shared a room at my previous house. One night, around 12-3am, we woke up to the sound of shooting/explosions. We went out to the living room to see what it was, and it was a toy that one of my nephews had bought a few days ago. It was a rocket launcher car thing, and you had to push the button to "on' to have it work and make sounds. It was making the sounds, but when checked, the button was clicked to "off" and it didn't even have batteries. My niece and I were the only ones who heard it, even though it was super loud. Very creepy. Plus, the living room was totally dark, and the house itself was very creepy. Also! Once when I was taking a bath, a photo that was on the wall flew off into the middle of the room, out of nowhere. It was too far away to just land where it did. It's like it was thrown. This is a bit more recent. I woke up in the middle of the night, looked to my left and saw a long black figure with no face staring at me, it was there for a second then I couldn't see it.... creepy. willinilly 134 May 16, 2012 Share May 16, 2012 Once I was starting to take a shower and I saw a gigantic spider in the shower, Freaked out looked away for a fraction of a second and when I looked back it was completely gone. and there was no way it could have escaped in the time I looked away. I'm also sure I've been stalked by people. My cat was sitting on as chair in teh kitchen, I was home alone and as the cat moved on the chair it made knocking noises and I thought someone was outside my house. I went downstairs to the "playroom" and began to clean up the mess my step-brother and I had made the day before. As I was putting away some plastic toy set, a very audible voice whispered from behind me, "Good job, censored." I didn't recognize the voice and turned around with a smile, expecting to see my dad. There wasn't a fucking thing there. Needless to say, I nearly shit myself running from the basement, too scared to speak. XD! This experience is actually what keeps me tied to religion -- whenever I'm doubting my faith, I remember this. It freaks me out to this day, because it wasn't in my head. The room's acoustics rebounded the words. (It was a pretty tiny room, and it was open -- meaning no one was hiding. It was too early for that sort of trickery, anyways.) I assume it was a hallucination but I was watching ponies at that time, so it couldn't have been related to what I was doing. Otter 1,942 May 17, 2012 Share May 17, 2012 (edited) This one's a bit silly, but it was also creepy. My friend has what he calls "Psycho Attacks" whenever he gets sick. He hallucinates and screams random stuff like "I'm 80 and I'm flipping!!!" The Psycho Attacks usually revolve around the number 8 and flipping. Anyways, we were in a hotel room after a Skillet concert. Sure enough, he had a Psycho Attack. It was in the middle of the night, and he just started screaming incoherent babbling at the top of his lungs. My mom was like "Jesse, shut up! We're in a hotel! You'll wake up everyone!" And he was just like "I can't stop screaming! What the f***?!" And other such nonsense. We made him get up and go sit in the bathroom until he and his sanity got back together. Another time, this same friend was just sitting in his room when a shadow just walked across the wall. Supposedly, he was the only one home. I don't really believe him, but...whatever. Lastly, I was playing Airsoft with some friends in the forest. It was getting dark, nothing was happening, so we wanted to call it a day and go home. My team consisted of me and two friends. We searched for the other team for about half an hour, calling their names and the like. No response. So, darkness dropped over the forest, and we still hadn't found the other team. We were calling for them again, when I saw three figures walking out of the forest. I thought, "Finally, there they are." I told my team, "Guys, here they are!". When I approached the figures, they just disappeared, leaving only a background of trees. I started to freak out. Fortunately, that was the end of the weird stuff. We trekked into the canyon and went up the other side. We then got some directions back to my house, and everything was fine. BUT THE OTHER TEAM WAS NEVER SEEN AGAIN! Just kidding, they got home about an hour after us. I still wonder about those figures, though. They could have just been trees, but I'm not sure. I've never been back into that forest, though. UPDATE: Tonight (May 18, 2012), I was downstairs cooking a burger. Yes, I eat burgers at midnight. Sue me. Anyways, was cooking the burger. I grabbed a soda from on top of the fridge (No, we don't keep soda in the fridge. Again, sue me.). I was walking back up to my room when I heard a sound like someone saying "ooooOOOOOOoooooooOOOOOO...". That may not sound scary to you, but I'm a big weenie when I'm alone, so that was terrifying. My EDC (Every Day Carry) weapons began to feel frighteningly inadequate. I don't think I'll be sleeping for a while... Sounded just like my dad, I swear.
