I present to you this fine artistic piece.

Abstract Pony Art.png

"A reflection of the modern man's influence on the world. The faint outlines represent the stress in life, as well as his accoplishments, vaguely forming a shape, yet not completely. The eye symbolizes his perception of beauty."

Your thoughts? What do you observe in this piece?

I observe a clear cut Pony drawing.
You Ponys always draw the strangest of things.
I see no depth whatsoever in this drawing.
I shall leave it up to you other Ponys to decide what you think of it.

Mmm, yes, this art piece is truly something. It speaks of the state of society, and will be relevant until the end of time. Chigens is truly the Andy Warhol of our time, and this is his Campbell's Soup I.

Many thanks. It is quite pleasing to see there are still cultured persons who can appreciate fine art.

You simply must look past the lines and into the very core of the drawing. May it speak to your soul, even.

Problem is,
I don't have a soul.
I am just a GLaMOS, with no emotions.

May you observe more then just a drawing with your optical receptors and analyze it even further in your hard drive.

Ah, yes, I understand it. GLaMOS is giving us a real-time abstract performance to accompany this fine piece of art. Quite genius, I say. Clearly this performance represents the repressed urge to sing that resides in us all. Quite a titillating performance, I say. An amazing accompaniment to the artwork of Chigens.

I must say Roop has figured it out!
I have a urge to sing out my emotions!
But they are repressed by a core.

I see something now!
I see the head as the earth with a smile that's happiness doesn't come out because it is blocked by a line,
that line is Humanity.

Ah, yes. Your interpretation of this piece speaks to me. Adding to your interpretation, I believe the nose represents Death and Will; while we are always capable of being killed an instant, this noble nose is always eager to point toward the future, regardless of what it may hold.

Hm, that is indeed quite fancy, very unique. :) Perhaps the faded look can represent our fading memories? :/

I simply must give my observation of this fine piece of art.

Well, when i see the lines, to me they represent the hard times in life we must endure, the eye being the absolute true happiness every human being craves. Seeing as the lines aren't straight, it easily represents what it takes to achieve said happiness, hard work, sweat, tears, even pain for that matter. You must go through these obstacles, to finally achieve what you've been dreaming of, and when you do get there, it's a feeling nobody can describe, you have to feel it for yourself, that is the beauty that the eye holds deep within those lines.

Anyways, i hope that makes sense :)

Perchance the body, being mostly equine in resemblance, represents man's desire to be free. Such as a wild horse.

Would you not say?

Mmm, that's an interesting take on this fine piece. Truly each tiny segment of this piece of art encompasses many things to many people.

Take lower frontal foreground leg, for example. I, for one, see it as symbolic of destiny. The way that it at first appears quite defined and then fades into the abyss is clearly a parallel to how, while we may believe we can predict the outcome of our actions, the real future is far off into the distance, faded so greatly that no one can see it until it arrives. This is the leg that carries us to our futures, our destinies.

Dear fellows, you are missing the beautiful commentary of wider society and are focusing too heavily on what this art says about the individual. Judge not only by what this work contains, but also what it omits. The mane and tail are both missing; alas, there is no evidence as to if there was any hair at all. In combination with the nondescript outline of a pony, this indicates to me that the artist is trying to convey a future society of mathematical efficiency and robotocism. Indeed, this very pony may be an equidroid as there is no identifying cutie mark. The ramifications of this pony's sacrifice in the name of efficiency, and, perchance, long life, are shocking. The very technique which has created her so perfectly has sealed her mouth shut. Could this be an accurate trajectory for our civilisation? Is the presence of a single eye enough for a pony to have a soul? The mind boggles.
