Bought it only last week and here's a bit of what I have to say:

Been going through Story Mode and I can honestly say, as far as Fighting games go (And some other genres even) this game has amazing story. Even if it's not anything terribly innovative it's the presentation and aesthetics of it all that make it so amazing. I have been blown away by how amazing it is. All the branches to go down, the voice actors are amazing, even the "Teach Me, Miss Litchi" sections are hilarious. The comedy is just right in the game too.

Plus, for the most part, I haven't really had any trouble getting used to all the characters. I can almost call BlazBlue my "thing" because of how natural it is to play it for me. Only character I had a tough time getting used to was Litchi/Boobie Lady. She was difficult to get used to.

I can't wait to fire this bad boy up online, even though it's online is likely dead thanks to it being the first in the series. LOL

But still, I'm sure there's still some people who have it. If you haven't added me already and have this game here's my PSN: Resulli

Oh, boobie lady is the only character I used.

Something about staff weapons, man.

Normally I'd agree but hers was difficult to use. I had issues with Carl too though. Haven't had a chance to really use Hakumen or V-13 yet. (Just unlocked their stories)

Minus(-) One(1) Internet for not getting Litchi immediately.
She has a staff fer sciences sake, you poke at things with it.

Best drunk party brawler ever.

lol Everyone's got their specialties in fighting games, mine just happen to not be characters like Litchi. She's nothing like Kilik or Faust. Though it got easier when I realized she had moves she could do even when it was stuck in the ground that didn't involve the staff itself.

Never was particularly good with setup/trap characters anyway. Didn't have much trouble with Rachel but she was fairly easy to use period.

I can honestly say that Litchi, along with Hakumen if my time in Training Mode testing out all the characters was anything to go by, is the hardest character to use in the entire game. I'm sure she's brutal when you know how to use her but she's really difficult to get used to, at least for me. The way her attacks are executed are very strange and require you to pay extra attention to whether you have the staff or not.

Hakumen is absolutely the strongest.
But fsk-ass slow.
One good hit may take up to half life away, if they ever hit, seeing as they need to charge up to do anything.

Litchi on the other hand, uses combos. Beautiful 30-hit un-blockable combos.
Every move is a multi hit, basically.

And whole game has nothing but setup chars. =P
Every char only get's their full potential once you learn to set up things. Few exceptions of course.

And Rachel is the penultimate Setup Char, seeing as her move set is built around that mid-air stuff that needs setting up and has the easiest traps to use.
I think ur doing it rong. xP
...
No, wait, I read the title wrong, It's Continuum Shift what I have. Silly Japs and their names.

Ah see, that was probably the difference. I dunno for sure, obviously, but it's possible Litchi is played totally differently in CS, or at least different enough. :P

Just beat the story last night.

OMG, that...that true ending was...OMFG

The story of BlazBlue was amazing enough already but then I get to the last part of the story, the true ending, and...those were some epic fucking battles. Like...holy shit epic.

I've played Calamity trigger a long time ago, I don't own the game though. It was pretty fun though, it had very interesting character design, reminds me of Guilty Gear.

Considering it was made by the makers of Guilty Gear that's not surprising. It was meant to be a spiritual successor to Guilty Gear. xD

They even make some references to GG.

Is this the game that can mix with PS Vita versions?

That's probably Continuum Shift and Continuum Shift Extend.
