I just discovered that we have a decent number of bronies at my school and I'm thinking about starting an official brony club there! Any suggestions?

Like an official club through the school or just a side thing? If you are going for official you'll have to find a reason that it'll be beneficial for the students cuz as far as I remember, they would never let a club start unless there was a purpose for it usually. Suppose it also depends on the school though.

A nice club decorated with pony to beat anyone who hates them, and eventually converting them into the herd? Sounds genius!

Oh you meant a social club for fans...That could work too ;)

lol I dunno if that's where it started but it's where I've seen it. You go in there to talk about the Poll of the Day they say that exact thing except replace "pony club" with "Poll of the day"

This thread made me think how awesome it would be if like a club you would to to drink at, was pony themed.

It wouldn't have to be a school supported club. Just something like we meet after school every monday and to pony stuff while watching the latest episode. Plus I know another school in my district that has one.

For the longest time, I've planned a brony club at my high school, but fell short since literally every teacher in the school was too busy, this late in the year, to supervise it. Anyway, here's a bit of advice if you want to get it sponsored through the school:

1. Make sure you do other productive things (community service, tutoring, etc.) than just talking about the ponies.
2. Try to advertise in a way that presents the show as more that what it initially looks like (a "girly girl" thing that is a threat to one's masculinity).
3. Be confident and calm with how to present the show and what your club intends to do.
4. Have a typical meet clearly scheduled out as well as a schedule for your "Interest" meet if you choose to have one.
5. Remember what you initially started the club for and incorporate that into the club's goals.
6. Haters gonna hate; ignore the parasprites and embrace the magic of friendship.

Protip: Try coming up with a club project, one ultimate goal/task that your club plans to achieve whether it be adding a section to your school's arts hallway or a food drive. It loosens people up to the idea of a pony club and earns a few brownie points with the school board. ;)

I'm more than willing to help with bouncing ideas around, so send me a message here or on Skype if you're up for it.

I would totally hit up a pony nightclub every weekend if they existed.

The only way you're gonna get me in a pony nightclub is someone with Pinkie Pie's insanity/enthusiasm dragged me there.

I'm pretty sure I'm the only brony in my county, but I'm slowly converting my friends, there still in the hate stage, but they'll come around
