Nah, I'm not talking about genre; I'm talking about themes in lyrics.

My most recent theme has been of revenge.

The theme of revenge so bloodthirsty and bitter that it is satisfying - well, satisfying to my taste.

Anyways, I'm a broken little nutcase. Here's a couple of songs:

Well... Meshuggah sings about the human way and stuff like that, Tool sings about... well I never understood Tool's lyircs. XD Korn sings about being pissed at everything and getting abused, not quite sure about Mudvayne and Periphery.
So... typical metal things.

As of recent, aggression. Pure, unfiltered aggressive sounding music.

The themes in the music i enjoy is usually about feeling trapped, breaking free and such, it's metal music not emo punk suprisingly enough.

I listen to jazz. The songs I mostly listen to are about either love coming alive or an old love dying. It seems like an endless cycle to me. That maybe one of the reasons I'm single. :D Joking aside, enjoy.

When I saw fried chicken, I thought of the song Chicken Train by Ozark Mountain Daredevils.

A good story, fighting evil, peace and love, despair, and sometimes I like songs with little to no meaning. :)

Depends on what's on.

The metal and hardcore I listen to ranges from revenge to positivity and free thought, from disgusting acts of cruelty to words about loyalty and truth.

Lately I've been listening to a lot more Symphony X than I normally do (which is saying something), which takes a lot from mythology.

Also, Kamelot's Epica/The Black Halo has been one of my favorite album(s) lately, which is based on Goethe's Faust.
