I am not sure if this has been discussed, I couldn't find anything about it. So lets talk breaking the social norms!

Have any of you bronies break the social norm for an assignment, pure fun, or any reason really? If so, what did you do? If you haven't done this before, what would you want to do?

I had the idea to get a few friends and go to a really terrible bar, a dive, a biker gang bar or something dressed in our finest apparel. Suits, and fancy dresses kind of thing. I think that would be a fun night.

So, lets hear from you!

I haven't. Well, I've probably broken the record for how shy one pony can be.

I went around my school, running and shouting "I LIKE UNICORN POWER AND PIEEEEEEEEE!!!"
I got sent to the school's principal after that.

Really really often. Sometimes with things like coloring my hair black and red, dressing myself up in different outfits, etc and sometimes in pulling pranks, doing spontanuous things that weren't always legal but fun and which didn't harm nobody.

One thing I did for an assignment for High School when trying to learn about human behavior me and a friend had a slow-motion race with super intense music playing from speakers in our backpacks. The one rule was we had to keep moving slow, and it had to be against the crowd. So we were slow-motion running through the crowds walking towards us. If t changed, so did our direction.

This was done in the city of course. Where else is a better place to find an abundance of people always going somewhere?

I and a friend of mine once went into an electronic store and switched all the TVs off and on with a remote we bought on the internet. Needless to say the person who worked there almost went nuts :D

As much as you like to think that, you are abiding to the social norm, even if you actively work against it.
For instance, how do you eat your meals?

Sometimes I wear mismatched clothes.

I'm not sure if those entirely against the norm but at one point in my life I brought a bucket of KFC chicken, walked into McDonald's, stood beside the counter, looked the employee straight in the eyes and proceeded to eat the chicken incredibly slowly. I got kicked out pretty quickly.

Ah yes, walking down the upwards going elevator at Ikea certainly got me a few passing glances from people. It took me ages to get to the bottom, constantly bombarded by rude people who decided to use the ascending elevator for going upwards, orderly people *shudder*, but when I did I felt such triumph.

Right before I was yelled quite abusively at by an elderly lady. I could see things were about to kick off, so I got out of there.

Using shards of glass and blades of grass. :D

I'm not really sure what constitutes as the norm, so I can't say if I break it.

Countless quotes over the PA, generally relating to random bullshit, calling my teacher lazy, and getting away with playing heavy metal for about two minutes for the whole school to hear.

At the Guernsey Festival (A local music festival where I went to watch Hadouken and the Kaiser Chiefs) there was some girl playing a piano (called I Am Tich). Me and some friends just started headbanging and jumping up and down while screaming.

It was fun.

When I was little, I would yell 'Hello Planet Earth!' whenever I went inside and yell 'Goodbye Planet Earth!' when I went back inside. Maybe I should start doing that again...

I'm the only male accountant in my company.

When we got like five women accountants here, it might sounds weird to hire a male one. But thanks to my gender I can easily supervise a whole section by myself, very unlike those wimpy women who needs at least two helper to calculate the goods and stuff. Yep, I got teased quite a lot for that. But they can't simply ignore me because without my head, the whole production line is as good as gone.

And apparently hiring one male accountant is much much cheaper than hiring one woman and two male helper, so my status here is final.
