Run Blaze! RUN!

Blaze jolts up, awakened by the the shouts thrown at him. His mother's. 10 years have passed since that day, a
day he would never forget. The day both his parents went missing after a dragon burned his house to the ground. Those were the last words his mother spoke to him.

"2 days...It's been 2 days since that bomb accidentally killed that little mare. I thought my measurements were perfect. It was only meant to blow a hole in that mountain so she could make it to Canterlot." Thought Blaze as he flew off from his resting place.

"I wonder how far away the authorities are. I mean they saw the blast, they saw me over her crushed body. They have every right to believe I did it on purpose, but why the hell couldn't they have listened to me when I said it was an accident?!" Blaze thought as he flew through the trees. The Everfree Forest. The one place he could be without anyone following him.

"I wonder what Rook is doing. Maybe he can help me find a place to live. Or at least a place I can lie low until I'm not being hunted. After all, his mind does work in...interesting ways. Maybe he can even help me clear my name." Blaze thought, wondering where he would stop next to eat.

"I guess I'll stop by after lunch. That way I have an idea of how I can explain my visit."


He stopped by an open field and found some wild plants that he could eat while he thought of what to say to Rook. "He'll probably think I'm crazy, going back to Ponyville. I'm probably on every wall of that town. Wait a minute!" Blaze thought enthusiastically. "There's Lily. She's probably mad at me for what I did, or what the authorities say I did. But...she wouldn't shut me out, not after how long we've known each other and all that's happened to us...would she?"

Blaze thought about this option, but felt it would be better for Lily if he didn't show up to her house. Maybe after his visit with Rook.

Linus trotted around The Everfree Forest. ''Those Targets were hard to take out.. But it was worth it.'' Linus Thought while walking. He had Just finished a Difficult Assassination. Linus was a High Class Assassin. Though his Tactics almost ever work. Meaning It could go to a Silent Fight, to an All Out Brawl. ''Man.. That fight will be a dark Memory.'' Linus Thought.

Blaze heard a sound from a nearby tree.

"Crap! If that's the authorities then I'm done for!" Blaze thought, alerted by the misplaced sound but not making any signs that he heard.

"Ok. On 3 I'm going to make a straight charge at the sound. That should surprise them if they think I don't know they're there. But if that doesn't work, it's good thing I got Big Boy here to make a distraction when set. I pray I don't have to use this, for someone may get hurt, but if need be, I will use whatever I can so I don't get arrested." Blaze thought as he prepared his plot.

"Ok. 1...2...3...NOW!" He charged in the direction of the sound and prepared to jump on the pony.

Lily used her magic to catch blaze midair. "woah, there, blazey boy." lily chuckled. "why the rush?"

Linus was Alerted. He pulled out his knife and prepared for a fight. ''Stay Back!'' Linus said while slashing his knife randomly hoping he would at least cut the Attacker.

"Lily? What- but how did-" Blaze was stunned to know that she could have followed him so easily. What surprised him more is that she didn't seem to be mad at him, but playing around. "How did you find me?" Blaze asked, excited to have met someone he knew was friendly.

Lily dropped blaze gently on the ground. "This thing!" lily pointed to her horn. "new spell, it's so much fun to stalk people!"

Linus quickly stopped and realized nothing was there. ''On wards, I guess.'' Linus moaned. His Imagination Got the best of him at that moment.

"Oh right. I forget you're always creating new ways to find me when I don't want to be found." Blaze said, jokingly. "Boy am I glad to see you. You're the first friendly face I've seen in two days." Blaze said unaware of a certain black and white haired pony stepping into the opening he had just left.

Linus Cocked an Eyebrow. He heard voices. ''If anyone is there.. I will give you No Mercy.'' Linus said while flipping his knife.

"Lily shh! Did you hear something? I think we're being watched." Blaze said alerted to whoever spoke. "Look, whoever you are! I don't want any trouble!" Blaze shouted towards the voice. "But if you expect I'll go quietly, you can forget it! Now who are you?" Blaze said, as he readied himself to protect Lily and himself.

Lily rolled her eyes at the fact blaze thought she needed to be protected

"Whoever is out there show yourself!" Blaze yelled, annoyed that the intruder wouldn't show himself.

Lily sighed. "you catch more flies with honey than vinagar, blaze. Please sir or ma'am, we will not harm you if you do not harm us." she smiled in her slightly annoying way.

"All right Lily. Lets get out of here. Obviously we are being toyed with." Blaze said, confused as to what happened to their surprise guest. "Hey Lily you remember Rook right? Want to come with me to his house? I need to stop by and see if he can help me find a place to lay low. Can you make a cloaking spell to hide me so it'll be easier to get to his house?" Blaze asked annoyed that their time together was cut short.

"gimme a sec." lily lowered her head and her horn glowed. "there, now I am the only one who can see you." she started to walk out of the forest, "hurry up! Let's go!"

"Oh you don't have to tell me to hurry up." Blaze laughed as he flew past her.

They arrived at Rook's house at about 3 o'clock. "Thank Celestia you put that spell on me. It's like a party out here." Blaze said as he surveyed the crowd.

Linus pulled out his knife. ''My name is Linus.. I am armed and I will attack if you don't show yourself!'' Linus said Harshly. A Silence went. ''Hmm.. They seem to be gone. I should follow them.'' Linus whispered while diving into a bush. He quickly got out and found Lily. He sneaked behind Her silently. ''After All your practice.. You stalk some Country Civilians? This isn't like Killing Mob Leaders or others.'' Linus thought.

lily's ear pricked up "our mystery stalker is back!" she whispered to blaze. "he stepped on a twig a while back."

"Should be more careful. Watch where you step. I got Big Boys little cousin here to gas him. Maybe it'll slow him down enough for us to realize who he is." Blaze said as he carefully put Gazzy behind them.
