But my NDS went 'boom' last week, so... too bad for me.
On the topic, does anybody know if I can get an DS emulator on the PC to work online?

I KEEP POSTING THIS MAN
IT KEEPS HAPPENING
I'd be all for this, although there are a couple options for this, ultimately. We could battle over Wifi. Pros: we would use Pokemon that we trained ourselves and have access to. Cons: relying on being able to connect to Wifi in the first place (I've had issues before), potential problems with Pokemon levels (I don't quite know if Wifi has a flat battle option, and if we want to do lv. 100, we'd probably need all our Pokemon to be lv. 100, which could be an issue).
Or... we could use a simulator. There are two major options for a simulator: Pokemon Online (pokemon-online.eu) and Pokemon Showdown! (pokemonshowdown.com). The former requires the download of a client to play, and the latter is browser-based. I'm more a fan of PS! myself, to be honest, even though it's still in beta. Pros: everyone has equal access to all Pokemon and moves, as well as the ability to battle in the first place (coughMellowcough). Cons: bluh bluh it's not the actual game even though it plays exactly the same.
Some more ambiguous distinctions include simulators' ability to play with things released in BW2 and the need to gather FCs for Wifi battles. That's all I can really think of.
Shall we vote on it? If so, I vote Simulator>Pokemon Showdown!.

Well I would do this, but sadly I just reset my Pokemon White save data, so nothing above a level 10 here.
Due to people wanting to play on a simulator because some don't have Black/White or just can't do it on their DS.I'd be up for this, even though my pokemon are only around level 30, as I only recently bought Pokemon Black.
We'll be playing on 'PokemonShowdown' Simulator. Pokemonshowdown.com

because its really good. Make you team fast and ready to go and all you need is your name on that web site. So if you want to use that would be better for everyone to join in. The only thing is you just make your team. You dont train it. Just set the moves and evs and everthing. Pretty much thats it on that web

From memory, the banlist is Mewtwo, Lugia, Ho-oh, Blaziken, Groudon, Kyogre, Rayquaza, Deoxys (all formes except Defense), Garchomp, Dialga, Palkia, Giratina (both formes), Shaymin (sky forme), Darkrai, Manaphy, Excadrill, Thundurus-Incarnate, Reshiram, Zekrom, Kyurem (only White and Black forms), Genesect (due to unreleasedness), use of Drizzle and Swift Swim on the same team, Moody, and moves that increase evasion. I don't really have clauses committed to memory, but I do know there's Sleep Clause (limits number of Pokemon you can put to sleep at any given time to one) and Soul Dew Clause (basically bans Soul Dew). There's probably a link that has all the relevant stuff in it (as well as a list of OU Pokemon for reference, but PS!'s teambuilder has that), but I'm too lazy to find it. Instead, have this: http://www.smogon.com/bw/pokemon/ It's very much dated, what with the total lack of anything released with BW2, but they're working on it, trust me. I'm a bit reluctant to arm you guys with all this knowledge, but whatever. It's more exciting if people know what they're doing, which still won't necessarily happen. It should be pretty fun regardless. Another thing, we're going to have to schedule these at times that work for both people involved at the very least, moreso if people want to spectate (which is a thing you can do, btw).
DOCTOR
DID YOU JUST SKIM THE THREAD OR WHAT
I MENTIONED SHOWDOWN EARLIER
The website's pretty easy to figure out even if the teambuilder is pretty funky and takes some time to get used to. Make a team, save it, go to the lobby, choose a tier, choose a team, and go. Individual people can be challenged by clicking on their names, or you can hit the Find Battle Button.Once I learn how that website works, I would love to do this If my schedule allows. Haven't been able to battle in quite some time.
Also, what tiers are going to be allowed?

Anyway I'd be up for this. I see your set on useing Pokemon Showdown but I'll still suggest Pokemon Online
Yeah you have to download it but it seems better. Plus I think you can raise stats to a certain extent and choose it's nature. Basically you can EV train it. Also we can make our own server on it.
Just to let you know I know nothing of tiers or EVs or STAB moves or whatever else. I suppose I should go to Serrbii.net.

STAB moves are extremely simple. Same Type Attack Bonus.*Sues Haruhi Suzumiya*

It's like a Pikachu using Thunder. It gets STAB because it's the same type as the move.
To my knowledge, EV training increases stats.
Anywho, mostly everyone voted Showdown, so I went for that.
Shall we do Smogon OU as a ruleset?

I would say just that no Ubers. That would work(?).
