I believe this forum should add an option for fixed backgrounds and scrolling backgrounds. With fixed backgrounds, the image remains in place and doesn't scroll as you scroll. With scrolling backgrounds, it is not fixed. Some profile backgrounds could benefit from this, and I believe it should be made an option.

Good idea. This would help with the development of custom backgrounds for peoples pages that match up with what is shown and fit in well...sorta... if what I say makes sense. But yeah, good idea, I support it!

It's easy enough. If I had IPS or if I had the page source then I could add it in myself lol. It's one of the easier things to do to be honest .

It is indeed easy to add in, it literally takes less than 5 minutes. I don't think there is a reason not to add it in, but that may just be me.

It shouldn't take long to do especially when we have so many talented bronies on this forum!

I'll look into making a hook for this if nobody else wants to. I looked to see if one already existed, but it didn't look like there was. When I asked Feld0 he said he would consider it if I found one. I'll make it and see if it's up to his standards. Also editing the source directly is out of the question as Feld0 told me and his reason is perfectly viable and I feel stupid for not realizing it in the first place lol.

If there's an easy way to add this option to IP.Board, please let me know. It's a feature I don't see much reason not to add, except that it comes with the technical restriction of actually adding it.
