So, I love roller coasters. I've wanted to create this for a while and now I'm finally getting around to getting this put on. This is for all things roller coasters. Post ride memories, new rides, creations in roller coaster games, and other things related to roller coasters. So, anyone hear about that new ride coming to Cedar Point in 2013. Posted Image

I've been to Canada's Wonderland several times. I love all of the roller coasters there. I hope to someday go to Cedar Point.

Oh and I love playing the Roller Coaster Tycoon games.

There are quite a few cool roller-coasters at six flags discovery kingdom. It's been a while since I've been there, I believe three years or so, I think I was a freshman when I went. Anyways some notable coasters that were fun would have to be Medusa, and a wooden roller-coaster called Roar.

I used to be scared shitless by them, pardon my language. Anyways my friends bugged me to go on Roar with them, and I actually had fun. So thus they got me to go to go on Medusa, I'm pretty sure it's the fastest coaster there. Again I actually had some good fun.

Medusa is a really great ride. It is also the only coaster to have an inversion called the "Sea Serpent".

funny, the first rollercoaster i went on was the scariest ride at the six flags park. i went to magic mountain in california, went on X2. going backwards in straight down flips and loops and super fast turns and such while you are upsidown and spinning. i was about to die.

I went to Cedar Point back in... 2010... Yeah, the summer of 2010, and hoo boy... I was so scared to ride anything... We got there pretty late, because it's a few hours away from where we live, and it was on the last day of school, so our departure was pretty close toward the evening... and seeing all the rides lit up like that... it was actually kind of scary. Everything seemed bigger, badder, and scarier. A ton. Scarier. I was too afraid to really ride anything, to be quite honest. I only rode one ride, which I forget the name of.

The next day, though (we stayed there for a whole weekend), I rode just about... everything. The lines were so incredibly long to what I was used to, but the lines go very fast, so it wasn't that bad. My best memory there was riding the Top Thrill Dragster. Effing... eff. It was this insanely long wait, and when I finally got up to the front, I started to panic. When I sat down in that seat... that FRONT ROW SEAT.... I felt like I was going to puke (so sexy amirite). Just.. the anticipation. They freaking... HOLD YOU THERE FOR SO LONG. I mean, I know it's for safety reasons, but dang, was it nerve-racking. Not knowing when it's about to go... Just.. ugh. It was amazingly horribly lovely scary awesome. It accelerates at, like, what, 30 miles per second? :o It was crazy. It went so fast, that whenever you go straight up, you can hardly even tell. I closed my eyes at the very top, because it slows down, and I know I would be tempted to look down, and I would get really scared, and on the way down, I remember just looking at the tracks because I didn't want to note how high up we were. It was amazing, nonetheless. Such a short ride. Like, what, 11 seconds or something ridiculously short. I don't remember any of the stats, now. I felt bad for the guy sitting behind me... My hair was still long at the time. He probably got a nice whiff of coconut. :P

But anyway, Cedar Point is amazing, as long as you don't mind walking a lot. There was so much walking... Every ride there was a blast. That new ride, though, looks like it'd be one of the best... I'm jealous.

Awww, yeah, just became a butterfly with this post.

Cedar Point is an amazing park. I laughed at that story, especially the hair part. I was once on the Voyage at Holiday World, and these women were sitting in the car in front of me. The both had really long hair. We went down the first drop and her hair started whipping me in the face. It did this until the ride stopped. It was terrible...

I love living only 2 hours away from Cedar Point, I'm there at least twice a year ;D

Wow 2 hours, lucky.

Their putting in a Wing-rider roller coaster similar to the one at Dollywood and Thorpe park only longer and including more elements. The picture in my original post is what it's going to look like. It will be the longest wing-rider and the tallest. Here's an example of what the trains will look like.Posted Image

Dang, wish I could go to Europe. They seem to have the best roller coasters. Balder is probably the best looking wooden roller coaster I've ever seen.

I love roller coasters, and, as you expect, I love Cedar Point . I've been there twice; 1st time was last Summer, 2nd was this Summer. Both times, I considered those trips to be mah favorite :D. The big reason I love Cedar Point is the amount of intense rides. I mean, they got the tiny, yet very swift and intense Maverick, to the giant and super-fast Top Thrill Dragster. Mah favorite ride there is no doubt Millennium Force (Or Millie). Unfortunately, the ride broke down twice when I was in line http://mlpforums.com/public/style_emoticons/default/dry.png. Thankfully, I was able to get on it quite some (4 times), and Millie at night is absolutely awesome. THEN there's Top Thrill Dragster. One hell of a ride it is. It's only 17 seconds long, yet you go 0 to 120 mph in less than 4 seconds up a 420 ft. lift. I went on it 5 times. That ride is insane  . Here, watch for yourself!

TTD is an awesome ride. It's a shame it's so short though. I went to Cedar Point 2 years in a row in 2007 and 2008. Alas that was when I just liked coasters for the facts. I was so scared about riding them. I wish I could go back and ride everything. M- Force is a great ride as well. It would probably be on my top ten list, but as before I stated I was scared to go on it.

If you want really fast theirs a ride in Abu Dhabi named Formula Rossa that reaches a top speed of 149 mph in 7sec. Posted Image

lol i went to cedar point with my rainbow dash shirt on i was scared of the cable cars i was holding on to the middle pole for dear life. i went on some coasters but i dont think i went on anything after magnum cuz it hurt my neck it was so old and bumpy. i was too scared to go on anything anyway. i was scared of the gaurd rails falling off. i went on gokarts and i was scared of the invisible marker they sprayed on my hand at the entrance. and i was scared of the gokart fumes. the gokarts were fast but they kept breaking down constantly lol. after that i sat near the dragster content with not having to go on it. I did have to cover my ears though.

Boulder Dash is an awesome ride. Easily the best wooden coaster i have been on and it's so cool when it goes through the trees.

That's great to hear. I've always wondered if it was worth the trip out there, and if it had been rightfully placed on the top ten roller coasters ever.

I'm also a fan of roller coasters and amusement parks. I've visited quite a few in my young life and enjoyed a lot of rides. I personally love wooden over steel. The shakiness and age of the wood gives it a personality that steel coasters lack. My personal favorites are Boulder Dash at Lake Compounce, Comet at Hersheypark, Lightning Racer at Hersheypark, Phoenix at Knoebels, and El Toro at Six Flags Great Adventure. I do ride steel, but they're not my favorites.

I LOVE Comet and Lightning Racer. I also prefer wooden coasters (unless of course it's a B &M ride :P ). My favorite wooden coaster is probably the Beast at Kings Island. That was truly the only coaster I've ever felt scared I was going to get killed on. The drop leading up to the ending vortex got me so bad. The walls of the tunnel are right there. It was bright then it instantly went black. I loved it.

I went to Six Flags Magic Mountain a couple weeks back and... let's just say Tatsu is the best roller coaster ever made. No, don't try to refute that. No coaster on Earth can compare to its majesty. Sure, other rides may be faster or higher or more scary, but Tatsu is the most fun you can have in 3 minutes. And that includes watching ponies.

Canada's Wonderland is an awesome park. I love Behemoth. Such an awesome ride, and added pops of airtime.

DUUUUUDE. /)*

I went to Wonderland this/last year. Last year was my first time going in YEARS. My friends are 'ride warriors' so they wanted to go on everything. So, me not having been on a roller coaster in 5 years (or any theme park in general) they dragged me onto the Behemoth first. I wasn't expecting anything scary at all, I'm usually brave. THAT DROP. Behemoth is the only reason I hate drops, but I love them too. That was the most fun ever. We went on every roller coaster~

This year I wanted to go on it again, and try Leviathan, but I chickened out since no one wanted to go with me. :<

Cool! Tatsu is one of my favorite coasters along with Nitro at Six Flags Great Adventure and the New Texas Giant at Six Flags Over Texas.

I've always wanted to go to CW. Leviathan looks totally badass!

I'm going to Six Flags Fiesta Texas next weekend, so that means that I'll get some new Offride and POVs for my youtube channel (http://www.youtube.c...stercrutchfield).
