I was browsing /v/ like usual, then i find this:
Is this a joke? I'm also laughing a lot because of the voice acting, it has no expression at all.
"wndrful, cnt wait"

Why the hell did capcom have to leave this game to Ninja Theory?...

Wait...so is this its own story line? Or is it before the first Devil May Cry?
So far, I'll probably pass on this one. Sadly, don't like the looks of the two. I guess its a good way to get newer people into the DMC series if they didn't start off on the first one for the PS2 though.
as far as the All Stars game for PS3, with they put the older Dante in
Looked so much more awesome
I don't know DevilMayCry was starting to get stale and dated, so maybe a new look was needed? To put it in the hands of Ninja Theory though, maybe that was a mistake on Capcom's part.
The overall game looks great. I honestly don't see why people are hating on this. Capcom's taking DMC in a new direction. DMC4 was kind of a bust and I really don't care if Dante look like a kid in this game (though he did in the previous ones as well with that voice and face of his.) And I wouldn't judge a game on the voice acting, because their is a fair share of great games that have absolutely awful acting in it (even if I don't find DMC5's voice acing bad).
As for the whole DMC5 Dante being added to Playstation All-Stars.... so what? Why does it matter which Dante they put in? The only real difference between the two Dantes is that they look different, they both share a cocky attitude.

It looks like they wrote a script for something unrelated that kinda had similarities to DMC and slapped a Dante colored coat of paint on it, this is shaping to be "Devil May Cry: The Quickening", or even worse, "Devil May Cry: The Source". Also, Dante now looks like the head of ninja theory.
From an interview I saw their just using the DMC characters to air a their bullshit anti-corpate ranting.
Also, it's nick-pick, but why is Dante a smoker now when his creator said he wanted to be a non-smoker because he thought smoking was uncool?

Ooh, i didn't know the creator said that... i like where this is going.
And what you said makes sense, but as far as i know it's just a reboot.

in that case, I'm not buying this game. The upcoming DMC is a reboot of the series made my Ninja Theory, so the story of the previous games have nothing to do with this one.

It may look great, but there have been a lot of leaked details about the game, and i'm sure it won't be any "fun" at all.
What i mean with fun is: it won't be challenging, it won't be interesting and it won't be enjoyable.
I'm not jumping into a conclusion, but i'm sure it will be like that.

Well, yeah you are right. How are you not jumping to a conclusion? You haven't played the game, have you? That's the very definition of jumping to a conclusion.
fun

Well, yeah you are right.
Well i got some details of the game and i'm sure it won't be any fun at all, since when mashing buttons is fun?
I heard Capcom got into helping Ninja Theory though, they said it's going to get better or either more fluid (instead of 30fps lock), i'm looking for more details about the game to keep the thread going.

I'm just not seeing the button mashing aspect. The series has never been about blindly mashing buttons (unless you torture yourself by playing on Easy Automatic), and the gameplay in DmC looks to play the same way as those old games, only with more weapons available to you at any one time.
Hadn't heard about Capcom becoming involved with the game. Would be cool if they could somehow bring the game up to 60 fps, but I doubt that'd be possible at this point. Even if they tried, the framerate would probably be unstable. I'd take stable 30 over unstable 60 any day, though frankly I'd rather not choose.
Edit: Also, just saw this image on tumblr. Thought I'd share the lulz.
