Amare awoke in his bed, like any other day. His apartment was quiet, like every morning. Nothing really ever changed in his life, which was ironic given that this was the reason he had moved to canterlot in the first place. He had become tired of the life in ponyville, instead craving a more exciting life in canterlot. Of course to his dismay, it was not much more exiting than ponyville was. However with it being the start of summer, who knows what will happen...

White Lightning got out of his bed. Another ordinary morning. He sighed. Ever since he had moved out of Canterlot to leave behind his troubles, life had been pretty boring. Sure, Ponyville was a nice place, but it wasn't the bustling, beautiful city of Canterlot. Walking down the stairs, he walked to the front door to pick up his mail. Sifting through them, he said to himself:

"Bill, bill, brochure for the spa, another bulletin, brochure... For a 'summer break of your life in Canterlot?"

Surprised upon seeing it, he began to think. He left it just a few months ago to escape his father. It sounded attractive, but should he do it? He concluded:

"Well, we only walk around on this planet one time. Might as well take it, I've got nothing to lose, and everything to gain!"

Yavolin just got out of bed it was a normal morning in Canterlot it wasn't like ponyville but it was home for now maybe he will even stay if there was a good enough reason for him to stay but he didn't care one way or another. Yavolin washed before he begins his walk about which he usually done in the Everfree forest.

With a stretch, a yawn, and a motivational phrase, Amare got up and out of bed. And then he went to go make some breakfast, when he suddenly realized that he had nothing here FOR breakfast. He rolled his eyes at himself and mocked his own stupidity for forgetting to buy groceries. He looked out the window and observed the seen before him. It was a bright sunny day, not many clouds. It was as good a day as ever to go out and eat at a resteraunt.

Filled with new energy, White walked back upstairs and got himself ready for the day ahead. After eating some breakfast, making a mental note to not try and make omelettes again without having any salt nearby, he walked out the door for his usual morning flight, a discipline he had inherited from his father. The sun slowly rising in view, he set off from his home at the outskirts of Ponyville to go to the shopping area.

Holo Scratch yawned and stepped out of bed. Holo had been going from place to place, finding gigs to DJ at. But he decided it was time to just settle down for a bit. So he moved to Canterlot. Besides, there were plenty of gigs to make a few bits at. Holo made some breakfast, which was some eggs and hay bacon. After breakfast, Holo walked outside, humming a techno song.

Crystal Swift got out of her bed and headed downstairs towards the kitchen to get some breakfast. It was the beginning of summer but Crystal just sighed and quietly said to herself, "Today will just be like any other." Crystal got out some butter and toast and began to eat it.Then Crystal violently smashed her hoof against her table her toast bounced up from the force of her powerful hoof smash. "NO!" She shouted "Today will be different today is the day ill make a new friend."

Yavolin was out walking around Canterlot because he needed to get out of his house he hoped that today would be different then just another day in Canterlot or at less he would meet some pony while on his walk.

Holo walked outside to the news stand. He bought the paper for today. Headline spoke of politics, Celestia, events, etc. As he walked home, Holo felt a song coming over him. Of course, he couldn't resist.

((OOC: This is just my character singing.))

I'm not a fan of puppeteers,
but I have a nagging fear,
someone else is pulling at the strings!

Something terrible is going down,
through the entire town,
wreaking anarchy and all it brings.

I can't sit idly,
no I can't move at all!
I curse the name

And sleeping in the middle

Landing in the small, but diverse little shopping district that Ponyville housed, White made his way over to the nearest tourist shop. Walking inside, he bought himself a pair of sunglasses, and a train ticket to Canterlot.

Walking outside again, he put on his sunglasses and told himself:

"It's time to enjoy life again! Canterlot, here I come!"

Holo, still walking down the street, continued with his singing.

"I'm fine with changing status quo
but not in letting go.
Now the world is getting torn apart!

A terrible catastrophe!
Played by a symphony,
what a terrifying work of art!

As Holo wandered down the street, he passed the train station. Noticing a train pulling in, he decided to see who it was. He walked over, and waited by the station, watching.

After eating breakfast Crystal flew out of her cloud home. "Well im off work today so i dont need to bother messing with the weather" Crystal said. She then placed her hoof to her chin "Now where can i meet plenty of nice ponies?.....Oh i know!" she exclaimed. Canterlot will be a nice place to start!"

Crystal took off toward Canterlot.

Without a second thought, White had packed his bags and left for the train station. Stepping inside, he got himself a nice window seat and watched the scenery go by, wondering what he was gonna do in Canterlot.

Sightseeing? Nah, already seen most of it when he still lived in Canterlot. Visit cafés? Nah, it's not fun without any others, and he wasn't that much of a drinker anyway. Find love? Yeah, keep on dreaming. Party? Well, why the hay not? He did have to find a place to stay first..... much time to think about that there wasn't for now, as the train pulled into Canterlot Central Station already. But one thing he knew for sure. This summer, he wasn't gonna spend the entire time just sitting in his house alone, doing basically nothing except fix up the weather from time to time when it was needed.

Amare was sitting down to eat a breakfast of hay bacon, hay bacon, and even more hay bacon, all at his favorite resteraunt. All the ponies seemed to be bustling about, and the atmosphere had a certain buzz to it, almost as if summer was already in full swing.

After finishing his breakfast of bacon, he went out to walk the streets of Canterlot. He had a week off from work, so he needed to figure out a way of entertaining himself for that amount of time, which by the amount of festivities being prepared for the "Canterlot Summer Festival" being set up, might not be a problem.

Yavolin was walking around town looking at the sights enjoying the fresh air but it wasn't like the EverFree forest , which he missed very much but it was his decision to get away from his life of adventure.

Holo saw the train pulling into Canterlot. Out came a pony which he had not seen before. He walked over. "Hey there, my name is Holo Scratch! Yours?" Holo asked the new pony.

Stepping out of the train, and putting his sunglasses back on, White was surprised when he heard a pony welcoming the moment he set hoof on the platform. He turned his head to see a gray pony wearing sunglasses too, looking at him. He thought it was a bit odd, to say the least, but a little conversation never hurt anyone.

"Hey, the name's White Lightning. Good to meet you."

Yavolin went into the store looking at stuff he had the bits to get what ever he wanted but he wasn't looking to buy anything he was just looking though the store to see what they had and what they didn't have.

"Good to meet you too, White Lightning. If you ever need a DJ or somepony for a party, give me a call." Holo said, giving White a card with a number. Holo walked back towards his house, then began working on a new remix of a song.

"Uhm, thanks?" he said as Holo walked off again. (Well, that was odd.) he thought, looking down at the card he was given. Holo Scratch, DJ. He wondered if this guy was related to the famous Vinyl Scratch. Shrugging, he picked up his bag and walked into the city..
