RP Topic

 
I was wondering if people would be interested in doing a slice-of-life RP based around the basic premise of a small group of ponies (I was thinking about 4 to 6) living under one roof.

Not much to say beyond that. It's a simple setup, and if people like the concept it could develop from there.

It looks like there's enough interest, so here's the scenario.

You and several other ponies have moved out from where you used to live and had found an advertisement for a dirt cheap, large, 5-bedroom apartment. However, the advertisement failed to mention one detail. Upon entering the building with your suitcases and bags, you notice several other ponies who also have suitcases with them in your new home. There aren't many other places for rent right now, so regardless of whether you want to live with others or not, it looks like you're stuck with these strangers^* for a while.

^* - I say strangers, but it wouldn't be unrealistic if you already know a few of the others.

 
Rules:
All of the forum's standard RP etiquette/rules apply, and in addition to that there's just three things I want to note:
- This is a slice-of-life, MLP roleplay and I don't intend for that to change. Put differently, no Discord, no changeling invasions, and no killing! There's other RPs for that kind of stuff.

- I hold no grudge against alicorns and exotic creatures, but I do hold certain expectations, and if you decide to RP as one, your abilities better be well balanced with those of the others and don't bother applying as one if you can achieve the same level of depth in character with a regular earth pony, pegasus, or unicorn.

- There's a little button at the top-right of each topic that says "follow this topic". I'd appreciate it if you press that button on the actual RP topic when it's there so you get notifications when something is posted and the RP can run more smoothly.

It's interesting i'll say that. Lots of drama and corrosion in the mix-up. It will mostly depend on how the ponies relate to each other.

Lots of drama, and everyday friendly, small and funny arguments between friends experiencing how it is to live with each other... Should be lots of fun.

Pony roommates? That sounds awesome, and I'd love to join. This immediately makes me think of the series Happy Endings, which I love. When this becomes an RP, I'd love to join!

Sounds pretty interesting to me, and if you do decide to make a RP, I would love to join. What with the drama and funny arguments that could come up in the RP, yes sounds pretty interesting.

I tried to change it earlier, but nothing happened, I assumed it just takes some time for the server to update the information. Thank you for changing it for me, but will I be able to do it for myself in the future, or is there still a chance that I'll run into the same issue?

You should be able to do it for yourself, but if you can't, just pm me or one of the other RP World mods and we'll gladly fix it for you.

Well I'm reluctant about that ability to read/sense souls, it takes a good deal of freedom (or at least sense of freedom) away from the others. If you don't mind restricting your abilities to a talent for music related things then I have little objections with it.

Also, I think you would do good to think of a reason why a princess would be moving into a "cheap" Ponyville residence.
