So I'm sure we all know the card game.

So just a place where all of us duelists just comes to hang out.

What cards do you have?

What kind of decks do you use?

What is your favorite monster?

Which is your favorite show?

Just anything really about Yu-Gi-Oh! you can discuss... but with Zexal and whatever 4Kids didn't finish please try to keep it in spoiler check

Also Discussion on Yu-Gi-Oh! Yami no Game is allowed (also known as season 0) as well as the abridged series

I love all the anime that have aired on 4Kids and WBkids (original, GX and 5D's) but 5D's was my favorite. I didn't get that far into it though. I think they were just meeting the dark dualists after finding out Akiza was one of the chosen five or something like that, been far too long.

Only game I have is Forbidden Memories which I've never beaten because the later battles are just impossible. >_<

I have over five to seven hundred cards but my younger brother wants to get rid of them, we more or less share most of them. He won't even let me look through to find ones I wanna keep. =/

I always love reaction magic cards though, man they are fun to use. :P

Never played anyone BUT him though so I honestly couldn't tell you if I'm any good or not. xD

Sadly I did play this a lot in middle school. Had a really good stall deck that won me a tourny. Gave all my old cards away a long time ago. Took me ages to get those luster dragons D=

I remember in highschool a couple of years ago, me and some of my friends would have duels at lunch.
Now for those that don't use cards any more, there is actually a site called Duelist Network that allows you to duel anyone online... all cards are to your disposal.
The games I have are: Forbidden Memories, Wheelie Breakers, and Duel Transer... and yes for Forbidden Memories I agree the latter duels are impossible, I winded up using game shark

I used to absolutely love Yu-Gi-Oh. When I was little, I watched the anime and owned like all of the cards. If I haven't sold them, I would have like an entire closet full of those cards. I loved the anime so much because it played with my imagination, making monsters a reality and bringing cards to life.

Actually now that I remember there is a group on youtube that are actually trying to create real working duel disks

If dual disks were real I would honestly stop playing video games for at least a year just to duel people.

Virtual reality is a dream of mine as a gamer and working duel disks would be a start, even if it's not at the level of the show (which is obviously technology far beyond anything we have at this time)

Sadly, I don't have a Gameshark so I can't cheat in Forbidden Memories, the best I can do is go through my decks and try to enter their codes to see if I can get them in game.

The lack of monster effects really hinders a lot of strategy in the game. Most of it is just powerhousing your way through rather than actually playing Duel Monsters.

My brother has Yugioh 5D's World Championship 2011 on DS and it's apparently REAL Duel Monsters but it's only a single file so I can't play it until he's done and satisfied with it.

I never got into the card game that much, but I remember watching the show a lot when I was younger. I thought the game was too confusing and that there were too many cards. Instead I played Pokemon. I've kind of gotten into YGO again, by watching the abidged series. It's very funny, but also stays close to the story and plot! (same thing... :P)

I don't think the Yugioh TCG is any more or less complex as the Pokemon TCG, it's just far more popular so there's way more cards probably. Plus the cards have far more diverse effects than most Pokemon cards.

I think it really depends... when it comes to effects of monsters it can be easy. Though when it comes to special summoning, especially with monsters like Synchro and Exceeds it may be hard at first.

Well my deck I've been working on is Sins of Machines deck. basically it features the Malefic and Meklord monsters.

When the anime got into GX, I completly lost hope in it. Playing Yu-Gi-Oh while riding motercycles sounds...good at first but a terrible plot to have.

I don't know if any of you are interested, but the english dub of Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal premiered. Maybe this time 4kids can get through a show.

wait... not to sound mean, but... did you not notice the new guy on the first post.

anyway openings.

Its not too bad. Like with the new digimon game coming out, Zexal is kinda going back to its roots.

Yuma the main character actually can't duel worth S**T, so thats a nice change of pace.

They certainly have a knack for weird hairstyles. Jaden was the most normal of the bunch. LOL

I mean, there's anime hairstyles and then there's...Yugioh hairstyles. lmao

And the reason I didn't take notice of him is because I think I may have seen something about this show before so it didn't click that he was a new character or anything since I've seen an ad or something somewhere.

I never really used any particular type of deck. I just kinda spread out all of my cards and picked some from over here and some from over there and then that was it pretty much. I suppose the fact that I never had anyone to play with but my brother didn't help that so I never really NEEDED a strategy since we just sorta...played.

Eh, why not. It was a huge part of my childhood, I had all these card scans sitting on my USB Drive that I forgot about months and months ago, and I uploaded a past entry for Weird and Wild Creatures that people seemed to enjoy so, here. Have some Yu-Gi-Oh.
