I really hope you guys do not take the forums for granted...
This is a forum for a reason, so if you are in the chat room, please post as well.
Feld0, Zoop, Swoop, and all the mods work their arses off for all of you, and I just feel like you all take them for granted by staying in the chat and not contributing to the site.
While I will be in the chat some, I will also be posting.
I hope you guys do the same.
Maybe it's just my own ignorance, I dunno, but I really don't get what you mean when you admonish everyone not to take the "forums [and] the mods for granted." How does staying mostly in the chat, a forum sanctioned part of the website, send the message that you don't care for the mods' work nor for the forum itself?
As long as there's no spamming, I see no problem whatsoever with spending the majority of one's time chatting rather than posting. Some people prefer to lurk, others believe that they have little to offer to more higher end discussions. To each their own and, to that end, using the forums in a way that you personally prefer shouldn't send the message that you don't care for what the team does.
It just doesn't connect, sorry. Only being in the chat which, again, is a part of the site and appreciating the staff are too mutually exclusive to draw such a connection.
goodie. will check it once i'm able to.
until then, everyone in the chatroom, BEHAVE. if it gets taken down again, i might just lose some faith in the community here.
I'd hate to play the devil's advocate here but you, as well as myself, weren't above flooding the chat with messages that one might consider to be "bending the rules" a bit. Normally, I wouldn't mind nor would I point this out but you've been particularly boisterous about this whole situation and it's kind of bugging me how you seem to be pointing the finger at everyone.
There is nothing so severe nor vital about this situation that it requires you to get angry and "yell" at people. I'm not mad - again, it's the action that bugs me, not the person! - but really; keep it real, take a few steps back and chill out.
If it's any consolation, to anyone, the awkward tension in the chat couldn't be cut with a hacksaw let alone a knife. I doubt there'll be any problems for anybody inherently concerned or miffed about this entire topic moving forward.
