Bronies and Pegasisters but what about the Rest of Us?!

Dear Princess Chrysalis

Today I watched "Meet the Bronies" for the hundredth time and I cannot help

but feel that there is a group of the fandom that has been terribly

neglected. While you have the Cloppers and Bronies and Pegasisters too,

There is one group who has failed to be named and that makes me

stew.

While some love Luna with her nightmarish charm

or Pinkie Pie who causes chaos but means no real harm

There is no title given for those who cause alarm.

You got Trixie being a meanie

and Flim Flam with their scams,

King Sombra and Tiara

both wicked and cruel

And Discord who is aweome

While Celestia Drools

So what say you my fellows

Can we give a title please?

To those who rant and bellow

To bring Order to its knees?

What a poem!

That aside, besides the obvious brony/pegasisters in the fandom, I believe that's about it.

If there is another, I guess you could say the dark side of the fandom, but that's as far as I'll go.

I never really saw another group besides the bronies and pegasisters in the fandom. You probably noticed the group, but I honestly didn't.

Alas! It is very apparent then that our group has been overshadowed by the Bronies and Pagasisters! For there is quite a decent amount of fans who prefer the villains oh so much over the ponies. D:

Wait, I prefer villains too. I'm usually an antagonist fan, when it comes to my favorite villains from TV shows and movies. Besides, we know that your a fan of Discord. :P

Ah, the pony equivalent to the 'Ravers'. The ones that are nominally fans, but who take things to such extremes that many wonder if they're a bit touched in the head. The ones that try to get artists banned from conventions because of something they drew offends them, start mock religions based on characters, stalk the voice actors, etc.

Then you are one of us, my brother! You should begin to look deep within and cast away the title of Brony

and join the rest of us! Villains are not some easily understood cast of characters that can

be read like an open book. We are mad, insane; with many layers that

explain just how we became who we are.

My dear sir, I have no clue how you came up with this conclusion. Really, I think you are confusing

lovers of chaos and evil with some other types of fans.

Hmm, if you were to form your own group it would need some kind of catchy name that's easy to remember.

You could call yourself Villanoniespaghecactuquonucus.

I think that's a pretty fitting title, don't you?

I approve of this name. I shall shorten it to the VTS! GO VTS!

We are team VTS and all those who mock us shall be smitten and smitten good!

.....wait

(Why is there a minimum limit to how many characters you have to put up anyway? If it's just to stop spam, I must say it's very successful)

I would watch out with the pointless filler, you could get a warning point if most of it is just mindless filler my friend.

Just looking out for ya.

I thought that Brony was a general term for fans, not a selective group of "good guys" ..?

But I suppose if you must have another seperate fan name you villanous types shall henceforth be known as:

Broconians!

Lovely poem. I too am a huge fan of the antagonists. :D Couldn't we be the nega-bronies? Kinda like anti-fairies from Fairly odd parents. (i would say anti-brony, but that's an entirely different species of hyooman)

A group dedicated to villains?

I'm likin' it. If this catches on, sign me the hell up.

Of course, assuming you're also including antagonistic ponies as well, naturally.

I don't know. Brony / Pegasister refers to one liking the show.

Villains or "not-evil-but-still-antagonists" in the show are part of the show just as the main protagonists.

It's kinda like saying "gamer" refers to a person who plays games AND likes the good heroes only.

I know, I know, I'm being mean, especially after the poem, it's just that ... labels. We need labels, many of them for one thing. And then we need to relabel it all again. Then some more. It gets bad, especially if you think about why people even do such a thing. Then again, since you are a villain, I guess that was to be expected.  :P

I'm a big fan of villains in the MLP universe.

Not just big time ones like Discord and Chrysalis but small ones like Gilda and Lightning Dust. They tend to have very good backs stories as to why they act the way they act or if they act out of spite, that's sometimes cool too!

I like them because they can easily drift into anti-hero mode and pretty much be a likable jerk all they want to.

Well the thing is my definition of brony is simply a fan of mlp outside the target demographic. And a pegs sister just a female fan of the show outside the demographic.

So my definition has nothing to do with what charactors you like, therefore to me only the two groups of bronys and pegasisters really exist.

Just me thoughts

Ooopsie. Sorry, was thinking you were referring to the 'Creative', 'Hipster', and 'Moderate' trilogy, and were looking for the fourth category they glossed over in the documentary. My bad. I was recently annoyed at a 'Raving Loonie', so it was forefront in my mind when I read your post.

As for actual on-topicness.... Well there's a sticker. If I'm actually on-topic, then I'm against topic. Because being on-topic is orderly. Huh.

Go Iron Will?

Nega-Brony! YES THIS SHALL BE OUR TERM!

You are hereby declared a Nega-Brony!

Agreed! It takes more effort to make a villain likable and yet evil than it does to make just an evil jerk.

A brony is a gender-neutral term for someone who is a fan of the show. Cloppers, New Lunar Republic scum, Solar Empire snobs, et cetera, are subdivisions of bronies, not independent groups themselves.

Also, I believe the correct term for your particular form of rabble is Mook.

I agree. Villains are always better than the goody boring old heros.

Discord the troll, Nightmare the fallen angel, Chrysalis the terrorist, Sombra te dictator. They are all legends who to be respected and seen for the wonders they are

Hmmmmm. Chaos eh? Not really my thing. Sure, I support bad guys (I practically am one!), but too much chaos is boring.

And I have to agree with brony/pegasister being general terms, but having sub groups with their own labels is cool.

This incredibly well-done piece of genius seems to be related to bronies or bronydom in general, thus, it has been sentenced to Sugarcube Corner.

This is a 70% automated message, by the way.
