What countries are you obsessed with?

Hi Hi Puffy YumiMiko

Recommended Posts

I've been fascinated with England, and the Commonwealth in general for a long time now.
I have numerous friends over in the United Kingdom, and I'm planning to visit for the first time next year, when attending BUCK.
I also have relatives over in Australia, which is another interesting place I'd like to visit someday soon.
Other than those two, I'd like to see more of our neighboring Scandinavian countries. I've only been to Sweden, and I'd REALLY like to visit Norway.
Fortunately, because of certain agreements between the Nordic countries, I can cross the border to- and leave Norway as I please without the need for a passport or a visa.
Iceland is a must-see place for me, as well.

By obsessed, do you mean interested? Well then, I don't know if I'm obsessed with these countries, but I am interested in Argentina, Norway, Brazil, Russia, India, Canada, Nigeria, Mexico, Australia, and Germany. I am also interested in Singapore, but that is more of a city-state. I guess it still counts.

A decent amount of countries. Canada, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Germany, Japan, Russia, South Africa and some others. I have these huge obsessions with language and territories and this ties into that a lot. Plus I love the many different cultures, since the US doesn't have any culture that is worth anything.

I wouldn't say I'm "obsessed" with any countries, although I really, really, really want to visit Europe someday. The history, the sights, the cultures! England, France, Switzerland, Belgium, Sweden, Norway... all countries that I would love to go to. Maybe Denmark and Germany too.

I'm not obsesed with any countries, but I do love traveling, and there are some countries in particular I want to visit. Those countries would have to be: Iceland, Ireland, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, Romania, Canada (I haven't been there but its my favorite country), New Zealand, Russia, Kazakhstan (they have an interesting culture), and pretty much all of South America (I know thats not a country). Wow thats a lot more than I thought. tongue.png Anyway, I'd like to visit almost all countries, but I want to visit those the most. I want to visit these countries either because of their geography, culture, language, and/or history. One day, when I'm older, I hopefully will.

I really can't say i'm obssesed with any other countries exactly, not that i don't like any, but i guess i'm just not one to have done tons of research on any countries.

so I can honestly say i would be considered obsessed with any.

Probably the United States.

The world of computers, fast internet, and 50% of everyone online.

I'm also obsessed with my own country, Australia. We may have slow internet and expensive computers - but I still love my home. img-1369822-1-UNZJLhS.png

I've been obsessed with Germany but stopped being obsessed with it. I was obsessed with it because of their car culture, there is no denying that German engineering is the best there is. Then it's Japan, for it's car culture as well. They make some of the best cars that are out there. Then of course the United States of America, I like the US because of their car culture, muscle car history and the US are awesome.

At the moment I'm obsessed with these three, number one is the USA though.

Italy of course as well, for their masterpieces. Pretty much every Italian car, Lamborghini and Pagani especially.

i love England, Australia and Tunisia... my coutry also.. as you can't see everything in Italy in a single life...  german engineering? yeah they are skilled but with beat them on design XD for the rest they are the best... mechanical engineering in particular.. i worked with some german guys at a multi university project.. they are not very open-minded and creative but sure they know what they are doing.. i've seen some amazing unbreakable projects from them...very VERY clever designs... but still not much love and passion in it.. maybe that's why Italy have so many dream cars smile.png (Ferrari, Pagani, Lamborghini, etc) sure italian cars brokes far easier than german or americans one.. so never (ever) buy them.. but if you are looking for some REAL super cars you know where to go... we don't have cars culture.. we have dreams on wheels culture... speed in the mind, passion in the hearth, a steady flame in our soul (Ferrari motto) smile.png

I completely forgot Italy, I love Italy for the same reasons. Only difference is that they make dreams on wheels like you said, yet Italy has something that many, many car manufacturers lack and that is passion for both engineering and art, they know that engineering and art are equally as important when it comes to aerodynamics and etc. Italian cars are beautiful and my dream car is a Lamborghini Aventador, then again I have plenty of dream cars and the Aventador is more of "dream" dream car only.

Well I kinda like most Mediterranean countries for the beautiful weather and nature especially Italy. I also love Rome it's my favorite city. I also like my own country the Netherlands of course. And Costa Rica was just the number 1 most beautiful country I've seen yet. The rainforest is just so amazing.

but well, I do like my country, more precisely Quebec. And since I totally love history, I'd like to visit the United-Kingdoms someday, along with france for all this amazing religious history, along with rome.
