In the movie: Wings.. No horns?

The movie was also a promotional thing for the EQGirls toy-line, remember. While wings can be created on a doll in a way that isn't potentially dangerously pointy for younger kids, a horn is a lot tougher to do that. They probably left them out entirely as to not have to deal with them.

Yes, it is odd, but it doesn't appear to be an error as the dolls also do not have horns, nor do the fragments of images we've seen from the sequel movie. So it's a deliberate design choice. A very odd one, but still.

I noticed that too :okiedokielokie:

Lemme tell ya a secret, m8; Rarity didn't get a horn because she's so much OP over those silly little lesser fillies RD, Fluttershy, and Twilight  :umad:

Nahh, man, I think they didn't have horns because it'd just look freaky.

I mean, I browse through fanart quite a bit, and the more I look at Rare's horn, the more it looks like a zit or abnormal growth

But it's a part of her nonetheless, and I never fully understood why they weren't implemented into that last scene like the wings were for Twi, RD, and FS :P

I'd have preferred it, seeing as it IS a part of her Equestrian form (and best form, for that matter ;) )

Wings arents that weird on a human since it has connections to angels in myths n stuffs. a horn... would just look weird off putting and maybe scary.

thats one form of human mutation id like to avoid

Yeah I agree with posters above that a horn would just look odd on a human, but wings are an established idea in literature and other media. Pretty simple really. Likewise their colors were a design choice. To one keep the connection with the ponies and two to avoid assigning races.

A horn would look odd on a human.

Yeah, but it's still kind of weird. They should have just left the wings out too, then...

A horn would look a little odd, and I can see the danger on a toy point of view.

But I wish they had given them a mark or a jewel, like in The Last Unicorn cx

yeah, i saw that movie. in MY opinion, they should have just left the wings out, too.

Wings look fine on the humans in Equestria Girls, but I think horns may have looked a little odd. Also, having horns on toys could potentially be dangerous.

Hmm, I guess you're right on the toy thing...

That's why.

... but yeah, everybody already seems to have said what needs to be said: odd-looking, potentially dangerous on the actual toy... But then again, I don't think anyone would bat an eye to horns when you have the colours green and purple as your skin. What the fuck were they thinking when they thought that was a good idea? ,_,

Oh well. :I

they're racist to unicorns.

And i'm OK with that.

You monster! D:

its mostly coz horns on a human is bad, plus most culture especially western culture that has Christianity as its core religion depicts humans with horns as demons............... soooooo yeah no horns

plus personally i like the no horns look, mind you that the horn was only intended for a unicorn which is already part of western culture

I expected Twilight and Rarity to get horns, but I think it may have looked a little weird if they did? I dunno, we didn't see them with horns.

Since Rarity didn't get a horn, she just looked like Applejack and Pinkie Pie in the Earth Pony section.

Nothing wrong with that!

But I think it would be interesting to see them with horns, just to see what it would be like. ^^
