Is There A Trend To Luna's Dream Visitations?

So I noticed that in the episode "For Whom The Sweetie Belle Toils" that this is the 2nd time Luna has made a dream visitation. This time, to SweetieBell.

 

If you recall, Luna had visited Scootaloo in "Sleppless In Ponyville".

 

I think that there is a trend to this because this is the 2nd time this has happened. Luna seems to give them advice when dealing with personal issues that they are having trouble facing.

 

Do you think this will lead to their cutie marks?

What does this all mean?

I do quite like the Idea. I think we will see it again, maybe in a more important role. Luna is a really interesting character and I hope we get to see more of her.

What we have seen so far is pretty personal for the ponies and not life threatening, but maybe she could enter the dreams to solve more serious problems. To help stop a villian or something like that? You get my meaning?

I find it interesting that luna's powers have gone beyond dreamwalking to showing alternate futures. Mind you, Sombra's fear curse could show twisted futures in ponies too.

I think that'd be a pretty cool idea as a villain may attack in the night and Luna may be the only one to wake up the mane 6.

I thought it was pretty crazy when Luna showed Sweetie Belle what would happen if she had chosen to go through with her plans.

Sweetie Belle felt overshadowed next to Rarity's tremendous talent, Scootaloo felt afraid and unwilling to approach Rainbow Dash about her problems. Having gone through a whole mess of issues with her own big sister, I like to think that Luna has her eye out for people going through similar things and wants to help them avoid the pitfalls she fell into, herself. And by all accounts, she's doing a fantastic job

Hey, maybe she's trying to be a mentor for them. ^^

Luna's statement about her own big sister problems make it pretty clear she sees herself in the CMC, or at least Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle.

Yeah, it's pretty obvious.  After Princess Luna exploded in popularity, Hasbro gave DHX permission to use her as much as they please (in fact, I think her inclusion in A Canterlot Wedding was a last minute corporate mandate).  Someone came up with the dream-walking ability to give them a way to use her regularly in a similar fashion to how they use Celestia.

Luna visits the dreams of the pony obsessed with tubs of jelly, she would see him being overtaken by lots of jelly mares (which look like every female pony and are made out of a colored translucent jelly) and enjoying it.
