Avril Lavigne as Vinyl Scratch?

The latest new's I have heard and seen, is Avril Lavigne is casted to be Vinyl Scratch in the new Equestria Girls: Rainbow Rocks. I was unsure of a second movie, but now I'm more unsure of who is going to play as her. I havent been a fan of Avril since I was just a girl and she first came out haha

Nobody will ever be as good as nowacking when it comes to Vinyl's voice.

 

However, for some reason Avril Lavigne doesn't seem all that bad. I think she may actually be able to pull of a good Vinyl voice.

I actually think she could do well, I mean Avril has had a few parts in animated films and does a good job. I'm actually excited to see what she can do, I may not like her music anymore but she does have talent.

With that said, to me the only person in the world who could voice Vinyl is Nowhacking.

Source, please? Honestly, I don't think I could feel the same way about Vinyl Scratch without her being voiced by Nowacking. I mean, that girl has literally been the voice of Vinyl Scratch since the fan base made something of her. It would feel weird to hear Vinyl speak and Jessi's voice not come out.
