"Next stop, Aspertia City." The intercom cackled over the large shuttle, before repeating it again. The shuttle's driver seemed particular tired this morning, which wouldn't be surprising. The shuttle had come from Virbank, picking up trainers who had decided to venture to Unova. It had also made many stops along the way, to pick up any new trainers already living in the region. This wasn't the cause of the driver's woes, however, for the shuttle was very loud. Most of the trainers had their pokemon out, and were conversing with them, as well as with other trainers.

As the shuttle had finally come to a halt within the city, the intercom began to sound again. "Remember to pick up your pokedexes from the Seekers building..." It said, as a bunch of confused faces - most likely of trainers from distant regions - began to show. "That being the big church-like building in the centre of town, to the unfamiliar." The intercom concluded, and the shuttle's borders began to settle down again.

If the description given on the shuttle wasn't enough, or one was already living in Aspertia City when starting their journey, a large sign could be seen over the centre building. It had been handwritten, and read; "Welcoming new trainers!".

- Aspertia City -

The weather was rather nice in Aspertia, and because of such, many wild pokemon were about. Most of them were on the outskirts of the city, as to avoid human confrontation. a red striped Basculin, two blue striped Basculin, and a Goldeen swam in a pond at the southern end of town. In the middle of town, a Purrloin lay in the sun.

Cecil had been seated in the shuttle, eyes closed and arms crossed. His sandshrew Warden had been resting atop his head, and his growlithe Scout rested on his lap. It took considerable balance and poise to keep Warden on his head, but it's something Cecil had grown accustomed to shortly after he had first received him from his mentor back home.

They had traveled to Unova all the way from the region of Kalos, and the trip had been quite long and tiring for him and his pokemon, Scout, especially. After just the first few hours of taking in all the new sights and smells, the little pup had grown bored with the lack of running and playing. Warden had no problem with it, though.

When the shuttle came halting to a stop, Scout was the first to wake up, as his ears twitched and his head perked up. In turn, Cecil calmly opened his eyes and paid attention to what the intercom had to say. "Seekers building, huh? Guessing it'll be hard to miss. Though, I am not entirely sure what this 'Seekers' thing is, perhaps I should inquire into it, given that chance." With that thought, Cecil stood up with perfect poise as his growlithe hopped off his lap.

Cecil watched as the other trainers on the train haphazardly made their exit. "Tsk, could they even be more brutish?" Instead of making an immediate exit, Cecil waited for a clear path to appear before him. Scout was a bit perturbed by his trainer's patience, but it didn't take too terribly long for the three to get off the shuttle, in the end.

Stepping into the city proper, Cecil surveyed his surroundings, and noticed his destination quickly. He made his way there so that he could pick up his pokedex, and perhaps inquire as to what this 'Seekers' thing was.

Gazing outside the window, watching the sunrise with her mind full of thoughts, Vivian sat alone at the dinner table. With a deep yawn while leaning her head on her left hand, she soon returned her attention to the half-empty cup of coffee that stood before her, and took a sip of it.

Tiredness, thoughtfulness, preoccupation. The so-called "prodigy daughter" looked rather dull that morning. At least, Vivian could have had a nice night of sleep. But she wasn't able to. After all, today was her big day. She was finally going to get her hands on a Pokedex and start her journey throughout Unova. However, every few trace of excitement that she could possibly have was overwhelmed by the same persistent dilemma: she wasn't going to be the only freshman in there.

The unmistakable sound of the city shuttle echoed across Aspertia city. Immediately, Vivian finished her coffee and hastily walked to the front door, where she halted. "Mom, I'm going now." She shouted, with no response to be heard. Before opening the door that led outside, the girl reached for the lone Pokeball on her belt. Her eyes were filled with hopes and trust as she stared at it. Blair... We'll become legends. I promise. These thoughts went quickly by her head.

Vivan stepped outside and, taking a deep breath, started making her way to the Seekers building. And so it began.

@@Leafeon,

Cilla sat in the shuttle that had just picked her up in Floccesy Town, surveying the other trainers. "Hm. We seem to have folks from all over coming to Unova." she thought. Her thoughts were cut short, however, as the intercom cut on informing everyone to head to the Seekers building in order to receive their Pokedex. "Uhhg the Seekers?" Cilla's younger sister Sable groaned. "Why couldn't we get our Pokedex from Professor Juniper or something? The last thing I want to do is deal with these creeps." Cilla, who was sitting in the seat across from Sable looked over at her sister. "Quiet Sable. I don't like the Seekers anymore than you do but we can't make a big deal about this. Let's just get our Pokedex and move on. Don't you want to challenge Cheren for the Basic Badge?" she asked. "Yeah I guess. Though I always thought I'd get my first gym badge from Roxie." Sable said as the shuttle came to a halt. Both sisters waited a bit before getting off the bus themselves. "Though I have to wonder." Sable started "Why would the Seekers be giving out Pokedexs in the first place?" Cilla responded with a simple shrug and went ahead to the Seekers building, her Espeon following close behind.

The Seeker's Building.  That was where Lurele had been supposed to go to get her Pokedex...  It was a large building, there were signs pointing to it, it should have been IMPOSSIBLE to miss.  Especially for someone that was born and raised here in Asperita.

So, leave it to Lurele to get lost along the way.

"It's gotta be around here somewhere," she muttered quietly as she took a wrong turn down an alley.  "Riolu..."  Her Riolu was holding his trainer's hand, trying desperately to drag her onto the right path.  "Oh relax Rio, it's not like we're going to be late..."  The smaller fighting type sighs and brings his palm to his face.  They were probably already late, knowing his trainer.

Making her way out of the alley, she starts to turn down the same direction they had just come from when her Riolu pulls his hand away from hers and starts running down the right direction.  "Rio, wait!  Come back!"  She starts chasing after her Pokemon as he runs towards the Seeker's building, this being the only way he could think of to get his trainer there in a timely manner.  She runs past a few other trainers, most of which she didn't recognize, as she chases after the small fighting type straight towards the Seeker's Building...  Which she had somehow managed to miss until now.

@@@@Vaporeon@@Umbreon,

Upon closer inspection, the Seekers building was certainly a fine piece of architecture. It looked like the average church, in severe contrast to everything else in the city. The yang ((Aka the white bit)) from the yin and yang symbol hung from either side of the entrance. Two trainers had headed in, not bothering to close the door after them.

Inside, two statues of the legendary pokemon Reshiram were placed on either side of what looked to be an altar. In front of which, there was a table. Many trainers were coming up to said table to retrieve a pokedex, given to them by a young girl. She looked to be in her late teens, with red eyes and purple hair. She wore a frilly white dress and boots, with a white bow holding her hair up in a ponytail. A Snivy was perched upon her shoulder.

Tempest watched as the other trainers conversed, with his Gible and Fennekin perched on top of his shoulders. He then turned his attention towards the seeker building. "Ok. Let's see what's in store for us." He then noticed a Riolu running towards the building while a girl, who he assumed was the Pokémon's trainer, chased after it. He then smiled slightly at the scene, before heading into the building. He soon noticed a young girl distributing Pokedexs. "I assume this is where I am supposed to be, am I correct?" He asked, as he walked up to the table.

Cecil stood at the entrance of the seekers building, observing the architecture and internalizing the details. "Hmm..." he expressed with casual interest, bringing his right hand to his chin as he pondered the symbolic meaning of what was before him. Coming from Kalos, Cecil was not too familiar with concepts such as Yin and Yang, having only a cursory knowledge of Unova's culture. After all, he didn't much like to read or study when he could just throw himself head first into a subject matter.

Yes, playing things by ear was just Cecil's style, an he was far too full of himself to consider the possibility that he might eventually run into a situation he can't wing himself out of.

Warden, still perched atop his head, slowly started to lift its eyelids up. Cecil looked up at his sandshrew, "nice of you to join us, Warden. Now, would you please get off my head. You'll have to get accustomed to walking on your own two feet sometime, y'know." The sandshrew simply nodded back off into dreamland. "Hmph, what ever will I do with you?"

Scout simply barked excitedly, indicating to his trainer that he had spent quite enough time already at the entrance of the building. "yeah, yeah, c'mon boy, let's get our pokedex." Cecil walked into the Seekers building and walked towards the altar and table. He took note of the statues, indexing that detail along with what he had seen outside. He noticed that another trainer was ahead of him and talking to the girl responsible for handing out the pokedexs. He patiently waited his turn.

Jacques sat in the shuttle, reading the book on Unovan lore for what seemed like the hundredth time.  The war, the four swordsmen, and the dragon that split to end it all; it all fascinated him.  And now he had the chance to see it for himself!

He looked up to see his Mienfoo, Karel, balancing on one leg atop the headrest of the seat in front of him.  The pokemon had a determined look on its face as it focused, constantly shifting its weight to accommodate for vehicle's movement.  Jacques had to give the little guy credit, it couldn't be easy.  However, Karel was not prepared when the shuttle finally stopped.  A look of surprise flooded his face as he began to wobble, pinwheeling his arms in an attempt to right himself.  These attempts were in vain though, and with a squeak he tumbled down into Jacques' lap.  Jacques chuckled as Karel squirmed, finally managing to make it to his feet again.  The little pokemon then flashed Jacques a face that he had come to think of as the equivalent of a smile, reassuring his trainer that everything was fine.

Soon enough Jacques left the shuttle behind, and fished in his pockets for a specific poke ball.  Once he grabbed it, he released the pokemon within.  "I figured that you'd want to see where we were," he told the Kadabra, Mara.  Mara looked around for a few moments, then turned back to her trainer.  She telekinetically projected an emotion that was a combination of appreciation and annoyance, which told Jacques that she wanted to return to the solitude of her poke ball.  Jacques complied, and headed for the Seeker's building.

The building itself was impressive, but it was the statues of Reshiram within that Jacques could not take his eyes from.  There was a line for the pokedexes forming, so he figured that he could take some time to appreciate the statues.  Reshiram, the symbol of truth, he thought as he looked up from the base of one of the statues.  I wonder if this is an accurate depiction...  This dragon was a creature of legends, so he wasn't sure if anyone alive had even seen the pokemon (sure, there were rumors that it had taken part in the Plasma incident, but was there any true confirmation?).  Still, it was stunning.  He could only imagine the majesty and raw power of the real thing.  Maybe one day I will be able to see it for myself.  Smiling at the thought, he finally left the statue and added himself to the line.

"Well at least these Seekers know which of the two legendary dragons are the best." Cilla said upon seeing the Reshiram statues. "Yeah ok..." Sable responded knowing her sister was just trying to irritate her. Sable was always fond of Zekrom and was quiet jealous when Cilla was stationed at N's castle instead of her all those years ago. "Ah, I think you get your Pokedex from the girl over there." Cilla said walking over to the table. Sable gave a slight sigh and followed her older sister to get their Pokedex.

From afar, Vivian could see the crowd around the Seekers' already starting to form. With a deep sigh, the dark-haired girl slowed her pacing, acknowledging that, indeed, she wasn't going to be the first person in the queue for the Pokedex.

As she slowly approached the entrance of the building, she stopped by it and carefully observed its interior - what caught her eyes was specifically the two statues of the legendary Pokemon, Reshiram, that gave the room an air of triumph. Mesmerized by the beauty of the church-like facility, Vivian's daydreaming was soon interrupted when another trainer accidentally collided with her from behind. She lost her balance for a second, but didn't fall over.

"Oh, um... Sorry, miss!" The clumsy boy timidly, yet mindlessly said before resuming his rush towards the table that stood in the middle of the room. Grinding her teeth in sudden anger, Vivian let out yet another sigh in an attempt to calm down, and entered the building.

Some of the new trainers had already received their Pokedex, but the majority were still queuing. Vivian made her way to the end of the queue - where roughly 12 people stood in front of her -, crossed her arms and patiently waited. However, she couldn't stop noticing the many Pokemon around the room, each with their trainers by their side. Some were playing, some were peacefully sleeping and some even looked as excited and impatient as their trainers. For a few seconds, a small smile grew on her face.

Again, Vivian reached for the Pokeball on her belt. With the smile still present, she let her Pokemon free - with a flash, a young Ralts emerged from the capturing device.

"Hey, Blair. How are you doing?" The girl asked, as she knelt and pet the baby Pokemon. The Ralts replied with a warm smile and a faint cry of joy.

Tempest had arrived fairly early to the table where the pokedexes were being distributed, and therefore didn't have to wait in line. "If you're looking for a pokedex, then yes!" The girl hastily said, as her Snivy picked up one of the pokedexes with it's vines, basically shoving it in Tempest's face, then pushing him gently to the side, as to let the next person through. "No need to be rude, Snivy." The girl said in response to her pokemon's actions, gently hitting her on the head. The pokemon let out a soft cry, though didn't seem to make any acknowledgment to her prior rudeness.

After he left the building, he quickly looked about the town's streets. He passed by a riolu being chased by a girl, and made the assumption that it was another trainer, probably late in picking up her pokedex. He didn't pay her much mind, and just kept walking on his way towards the outskirts of town.

"Hmm, I wonder what sort of pokemon I'll be able to find around here. I saw a purrloin earlier, but I don't think that much suits my style. Wait, I should probably make sure I have everything I need to catch something, " He stopped and opened his bag, and checked it's contents. He didn't find much, just a single potion and 4 empty pokeballs. "Yep, everything I need."

He arrived at the edge of town, and Scout alerted him to a patch of grass rustling. "Hmm, a pokemon? I doubt it will be anything spectacular, but I might as well take a look." And so Cecil proceeded to investigate the source of the rustling.

Drago was knocked off of Tempest's shoulder by the push, while Cynder stayed on. The small dragon growled slightly at the Snivy, before being lifted by his trainer and put back on his previous perch perch.

Tempest glanced at the lady, and nodded. "Thank you." With that, he left the building. He wanted to build a strong team with very little weaknesses, so he headed to the road that went to the outskirts of town. He noticed a trainer, and smirked. "It seems that I'm not the only one out here." He thought.

It wasn't long before it was Jacques' turn to take up a pokedex.  In truth, he didn't really care to have one, but it was apparently a formality that had to be met before becoming a 'registered' trainer.  Taking the pokedex offered, he nodded to the girl, and managed a quick, "Er, thanks," before moving off to the side.  He stood, somewhat expecting for some sort of send-off speech, but realized after watching several trainers leave that that probably wasn't happening, so he, too, left the Seeker's building.  Upon reaching the outside, he was hit with a sudden realization: now that he had a pokedex and could truly be considered a trainer, he had no idea what to do.

@@Leafeon,

Thanks to her Riolu leading the way Lurele had finally managed to make it to the Seeker's Building...  To find that there was already a huge line forming to get a Pokedex.  Just as her Pokemon had feared, they were late.  "Riol...."  Her Pokemon looked upset by the long line, but Lurele just smiled and placed one of her tape-wrapped hands on his head.

"Don't worry Rio, I'm sure they won't run out.  Even if they do, no big deal...  We can just journey without one if we have to!"  Grinning reassuringly at her Pokemon, Lurele walks up the stairs to get in place in line...  Though she decides instead to stay a ways back from the girl in the back.

@,

Lurele tilts her head a little as she looks at the back of the girl that had been at the end of the line.  She looked kind of familiar, but she couldn't quite place her.  Maybe she'd seen her around town before.  Shrugging, Lurele makes sure there's plenty of clear space around them before turning to her Riolu.

"Looks like we have a bit of a wait Rio.  Want to get some practice in?  I mean, it beats just standing in line, and we're patient enough to just wait for the end.  No big deal, right buddy?"  Her Pokemon spared a cautious glance at the trainers in line before shrugging and nodding at Lurele.  She grins and drops down into a low stance, holding one arm extended with her palm out.

"Alright, be careful not to hit anything else by accident though.  Let's just go with cycle one, that one's pretty easy."  Her Pokemon gives a small nod before crying out "Olu!"  With that the small Pokemon had jumped towards his trainer, launching a slow series of punches towards the palms of her hands.  It was a way to pass the time while the line got smaller, at least...  And who knew, maybe by just hanging out and killing a little time, something interesting might happen.  These Seeker people seemed sort of interesting, a chance to talk with one of them without being rushed by everyone in line behind her could be nice.

"I'm happy, too! Soon, we'll have a Pokedex, and with it we can find and capture the most powerful Pokemon to fight alongside us!" Vivian continued talking to her Ralts, not paying much attention to their surroundings. "We might even become stronger than dad..." This time, she used a quieter, slightly sadder tone of voice. However, the girl soon came to notice that the line for the Pokedex had already considerably decreased. Vivian then returned to face Blair, the baby Ralts, and held it in her arms, as they walked forward to where only a couple more trainers waited before them.

Not very long after, both Vivian and Blair sensed that someone else had arrived and queued behind them. At first, she didn't give it much thought - that is, until she heard an oddly familiar voice.

"Looks like we have a bit of a wait Rio.  Want to get some practice in?  I mean, it beats just standing in line, and we're patient enough to just wait for the end.  No big deal, right buddy?"

Vivian slowly turned around - while still holding onto her Ralts - to meet the source of the voice. Red braided hair, green eyes, athletic build, and training punches with a Riolu. She quietly asked herself, why was that girl and that Pokemon so familiar-looking? Have they met somewhere before? While Vivian stared at the girl, Blair stared at the Riolu beside her, both rather intrigued.

"Um... Excuse me... Don't I know you?" She mindlessly asked in an impulse of curiosity.

At the sound of a voice addressing them, Lurele turned her head to look at Vivian and smiled.  Unfortunately her Riolu didn't seem to catch on as quickly as his trainer did, and as Lurele starts to lower her hand he lunges forward with another punch.  Without her palm there to stop him the little Pokemon's eyes go wide, right before he accidentally hits his trainer directly in the chest.

"Ow!  Rio, be careful!"  "Oluuu!"  The little fighting Pokemon abruptly jumped into Lurele's arms as way of apology, causing his trainer to just chuckle and stand up holding him.  She looks back to Vivian and grins, a little embarrassed by that little scene.  "Heh, umm...  Sorry about that."

She paused to consider the question for a moment before giving a small shrug.  "It's possible...  I mean, you look really familiar...  I grew up right here in Asperita, maybe we went to school together or something?  Does the name Lurele Steele ring any bells?"  Now this was going to bug her - the trainer she had thought looked familiar also thought the same about her?  They HAD to have known each other somehow...

As his trainer spoke to the other girl, her Riolu held onto her arms while he stared at the Ralts that the other girl was holding.  "Riolu?"  The fighting type tilts its head slightly and blinks, not wanting to come across as rude but being friendly not exactly coming easily to him.  The fact he was still flustered over accidentally hitting his trainer made him act much less intimidating or rude than he would have otherwise, at least.

Cecil's prediction of the pokemon being "nothing spectacular" were quite correct. Or, perhaps they weren't if you liked very common pokemon from the Kanto region. A wild Rattata hopped out of the grass as Cecil approached, giving him a cautious glance. It looked as if it wanted to run away.

The trainer Tempest noticed had noticed had seemingly encountered a pokemon. It was purple, but a bit too far away to make out the specifics of.

((Don't really have anything to say for this. However, I'll make a description for the next route now, just so you don't have to wait for that, should you be going that way. Of course, Aspertia has a gym and stuff so yea.))

- Route 19 -

The first route of the Unova region had quite a few trainers on it, and therefore not many wild pokemon. A red striped Basculin swum in a pond, a bit distraught. A Glameow looked to be sleeping atop a cliff.

@@Umbreon

Not very long after, both Vivian and Blair sensed that someone else had arrived and queued behind them. At first, she didn't give it much thought - that is, until she heard an oddly familiar voice.

As the two spoke, the building had nearly cleared out, with no one there but them, two other girls who seemed to know each other, and the girl handing out the pokedexes. The girl seemed somewhat annoyed by how there were still people around, yet not taking their pokedexes. Though, she didn't want to seem rude as to disrupt their conversations. Her Snivy, on the other hand, thought differently. She sharply cried out, only to receive a whack on the head by her trainer yet again. "Snivy..." The girl muttered under her breath.

Scout barked and growled at the rattata, prepared for a fight. "Now, now, Scout. There's no need for us to bother with this little critter. Save your energy for something more productive." Cecil picked up his growlithe so that it wouldn't pounce on the rattata. Scout writhed around as he was held aloft, but Cecil kept his cool. He turned his attention to the little rattata, "well then, go run away already."

Scout, however, stopped barking at the rattata when another unfamiliar scent wafted by his nose. Cecil looked down at his growlithe, and set him down. He turned around to see what Scout was barking at this time, and saw a trainer a short distance away. Cecil looked at the trainer with a dull expression on his face, clearly not impressed with the figure he saw, with a gible and fennekin perched on his shoulders.

"Sorry, did you want that rattata? I'm afraid it's scampered off by now. Shame, it could've been a real asset to you, I'm sure." Cecil said with only the slightest hint of sarcasm. He didn't exactly want to be friendly, but he had nothing to gain from picking a fight.

Tempest shook his head slightly, and smirked. at the trainers sarcasm. "Honestly, no. I don't prefer using that type of Pokémon, even if they are somewhat strong." He said. "Besides, I already have my hands full at the moment." The teen then motioned towards Cynder and Drago, who eyed the Growlithe suspiciously. "Anyway, my name is Tempest. Who're you?"

Vivian watched as the small 'accident' happened. She tried hard to not chuckle at the unfortunate event that was the Pokemon hitting its own trainer while training. But since both the girl - who later identified herself as Lurele Steele - and the Riolu with her seemed to already be embarrassed enough, Vivian decided to disregard it, and listened to what the clumsy trainer had to say.

She paused to consider the question for a moment before giving a small shrug.  "It's possible...  I mean, you look really familiar...  I grew up right here in Asperita, maybe we went to school together or something?  Does the name Lurele Steele ring any bells?"

"Steele..." She thought to herself, trying to relate that name to something or someone she could've met in the past. But nothing. However, upon closer inspection of the red-haired girl herself, Vivian was now certain that she had seen her around before. Surely, being from the same city; Aspertia wasn't that large of a town after all. Most of the residents knew each other somehow.

"No... I don't think we've ever personally met." Vivian spoke, bringing a hand to her chin and holding Blair with the other arm. "But I do believe I saw you around the town before. I also live here in Aspertia, and I remember that, most of the times when I came back from work with my mother in the evening, a girl and her Riolu were running around the block. I think that was you." She concluded with a small smile. "I must say, you two seem to be very hardworking... That's nice."

"Anyway, I'm Vivian. Vivian Galle. And this here is Blair, my Ralts." While the two were talking, Blair had been partaking in a staring contest with the Riolu on the other side. When the Fighting-type blinked, Blair blushed and shrunk inside Vivian's arms. He didn't look intimidating in the slightest, but the Ralts usually took a while to get comfortable around new Pokemon.

Their conversation was cut short when a loud, sharp cry came from the Snivy at the table. When Vivian turned around, she noticed that the place had already completely emptied out. She then turned back to Lurele and tilted her head towards the table with the Pokedexes, where another girl looked very impatient, if not annoyed.

"I'm assuming you're here to get a Pokedex as well?"

@@Leafeon,

"See? I knew we shouldn't have waited to get off the bus." Sable said annoyed that the line had gotten so long. "Oh please have some patenice Sable. We'll get our Pokedex soon enough." It seems Cilla was right as it wasn't long before the duo were reciving a their Pokedex. Sable simply took her Pokedex, not saying a word to the apparent Seeker girl at the desk. Cilla, however, acted polite despite the fact she didn't like the Seekers very much either. "Please excuse my sister she's uh...very excited." With that Cilla and Sable soon made it to Route 19.

After wondering around for a while Sable caught sight of a Poliwag playing by the pond. "Hello there. Seems I'm about to get a nice Poliwrath." she said taking out Umbreon's Pokeball. "Why would ever want one of those dreadful things?" Cilla says from behind. "Clearly I should catch it so it can become a cute little Politoed." Cilla's Espeon was already in a fighting position, ready for her first command. "Then I guess we'll have to see who catches it first, eh?" Sable said releasing Umbreon. "I guess we will." At that moment both trainers commanded their respective Pokemon to attack the unsuspecting Poliwag. Espeon with Swift and Umbreon with Confuse Ray.

Cecil had the urge to give him a pseudonym. "Hmm, but I probably shouldn't; I have my trainer ID on me, and I'll have to use my real identity when I take on the gym here. No benefit in keeping my name hidden from anyone."

"My name is Cecil, Cecil Amier, " he said, running his right hand through his hair with a flourish. This motion woke up Warden, "...shrew?" Cecil's eyebrow twitch when he realized his sandshrew totally messed up his signature introduction.

"You really need to stop sleeping on my head, Warden..." he said, irritated, under his breath. Cecil reached up and grabbed his sandshrew, and held it to his chest with his left arm. He used his right hand to smooth out his hair.

Cecil had got so wrapped up in his vanity, he almost forgot about the other trainer's presence. That was, until Scout ran up towards Tempest and sniffed his leg. "Tsk, Scout! Get back here, don't go bothering him." The growlithe made a small whimper, but came back to Cecil's side.

Letting out a small sigh, Cecil once again addressed Tempest. "Anyways, I was just checking around for any pokemon I might have been interested in before taking on the gym here. So I'll be on my way." Cecil walked on past Tempest back towards the center of town, to find the gym.

Lurele smiles and jerks a thumb towards herself, holding Riolu with one arm.  At the new position her Pokemon starts to squirm until she lets go of him, the fighting type dropping to the ground in front of her.  "Yeah, that was probably us!  I've been with Rio for a long time, and we're usually training."  Her Riolu nods his head in agreement, crossing his arms.  He spares one more curious glance towards Blair, not used to seeing such a timid Pokemon, but stays quiet.

"But yeah, we're here for our Pokedex...  We're going to start traveling, we need to get stronger!  I plan on being a Gym Leader some day!"  Her Riolu nods again, glancing towards where the Snivy had called out a little before.  He reaches up to tug on Lurele's pant leg, nodding towards the Pokedexes.

Smiling, Lurele gestures towards the table.  "Nice finally meeting you, Vivian.  Shall we get our Pokedexes?"  She starts to walk towards the table, standing in front of it but a little to the side, to let Vivian get her Pokedex first.  The other girl had been in front of her in line, after all.  Instead, Lurele decided to focus on the girl with the Snivy who was handing them out.

"Hi there!  Cute Snivy.  Thanks for the Pokedexes by the way, it's really nice of you to be passing them out to everyone."
