Annoying and awkward moments at school

Has anyone ever had those annoying and weird awkward moments at school?

For example, I would have to say one time I was held after class one time to present a project because I have a problem doing speeches in front of the class. My IEP (Special ed) let me present projects to teachers on another time when they don't have a class. My teacher let me stay after class to present. Well, after I was done, he signed me a pass to go to the next class. I was maybe...like 20 minutes late? I think so? So, I have my pass and I walk into the classroom. My teacher was in the middle of teaching, so as I walked in, the ENTIRE CLASS just turns and stares at me. As much as it was annoying the WHOLE time I walk up and handed the teacher my pass, it was awkward because like everyone was still staring as I went to sit down at my desk. They all stared at me like I murdered someone or something.

Like, come on? I was a little late and handed the teacher a pass. How awkward can that be??

I found it to be awkward and HIGHLY annoying. I was about to just yell "WHAT? HAVE YOU NOT SEEN A LATE STUDENT BEFORE?"

Mine's slightly similar to yours.

I was elected as Runner one day. The entire day was awkward, everytime I had to go to a class to deliver a message, once I opened the door EVERYONE turns around and stares at me. It's so weird. D:

Its happened to me more than once, but the story I just shared was probably the most awkward xD I just hate anytime you walk into a classroom and every stares. I so badly just wanted to yell "WHAT?"

One time I walked into a final exam an entire hour late because I thought the exam time was an hour later!

It was horribly embarrassing. But the professor was very nice and stayed for me to get done, and then complimented me for the research paper and project from a week or two earlier. I made an A in the class! ^_^

...But still... I hope that never happens again.

1.The teacher will give us specific and clear directions on an assignment. Then, some idiot raises her hand and asks "Wait.. What do we have to do?"

Try listening, bitch.

2. When the teacher asks if anyone is still taking the test and I'm the only one. I didn't ever want to raise my hand because then I looked like a slow idiot.

3. I also hated being the first to hand-in a test because it makes it look like I knew nothing on the test.

4. When I was 5 minutes late to class and I was afraid to open the classroom door because the kids always stare at you like you murdered 6 people.

One time I was walking to my next class when I heard my friend yelling my name and I turn around only to see her running and tripping while calling my name, pretty sure she ran into somebody too. Everyone in the hallway then stared at me and it was rather awkward.

1. Same here! It annoys me to no end when people ask stupid questions when the teacher clearly gave you instructions! >_>

2. I've had that happen to me many times! I just usually try to hurry but not to where i'm guessing on every problem!

3. I usually finish last so I can't say much there

4. This. That is the reason I always try to make it to class on time. It really annoys me when people stare at me. I don't mind a quick glimpse but some people stare for way too long. Well, at least to my understanding. -_-

I'm glad I'm out of high school because those moments seemed to happen too often

Warning: This story from my high school days is rather explicit

In my junior year of high school, both me and the girl I was dating happened to leave our classes at the same time, in adjacent hallways, to go to the bathroom. We were surprised to run into each other on the way back to the classrooms, and being hormonal teenagers with no regard for the consequences of our actions, we decided that it would be the perfect opportunity to sneak off and have sex. So we slipped into the room behind the stage in the auditorium, which was unlocked, dark, and empty, and started in. Just as she was in the middle of a blowjob, two people walked into the little room unexpectedly: the Drama Club teacher and one of the Drama Club students...who just happened to be not only an ex-girlfriend of mine, but the sister of my current girlfriend, who didn't know her sister was now dating her ex. The ensuing fight resulted in all three of us being suspended. The awkwardness, however...well, that lasted until graduation the next year.

Dear god.

That must've felt so weird.

Honestly, it was only awkward because of how they acted for the next year after that. People walking in on me in that sort of situation has happened to me so many times that it's been kind of a non-issue for me since I was about 15 years old.

That's how school has always been, I always manage to somehow create an awkward moment. Maybe I see a fellow student, they say "hi". I stammer, until I finally say "hi" with awkwardness surrounding me. Lol I always try being on time, so I wait in front of the classroom. Even that seems to attract attention. Then when it comes to group assignments, I always end up being the last one to end up in a group. Everything feels like that annoying and awkward moment, which is why I usually hang out somewhere isolated. Library, the "pit" and most of the time I go for a drive.

I should add that I had non-girlfriend related awkward moments in high school as well. For one thing, I can't count the number of times I said something mean, funny, or dumb about a teacher only to find they had walked into the room behind me moments before.

I once met a girl who had just moved from forget-where, and she had no friends.

I was running the mile for PE when I noticed her just walking the track (1st sign of trouble, right there) so I decided to be friendly and strike up a conversation.

We hit it off.

I introduced her to my group of friends after a few days, and within 2 god damn months, she infected every single one of my friends and they.all became drug addicted scene kids who just want to get high and party.

She even turned everyone against me, saying that I wanted.to control their lives.

I didn't want.to...I just didn't want them to become f*cking druggies and ruin their lives.

And this wasn't just weed, friends. Hardcore sh*t, like PCP, ecstasy and acid.

So I.spent 2 years of my high school.career avoiding eye contact with those freaking c*ckbags and trying to ignore their potshot insults. I rekindled a friendship with an old group.of friends I had and moved on.

To.this day, there is not a single person who's face I ever regretted seeing than the girl who caused all of this.

When I was 7 or something I gave Christmas cards to everyone in my class. I wrote in the usual stuff but instead of saying from *Insert my name here* I said love from *Insert my name here* To everyone, both boy and girl.

  • When somebody says Hi to you, and you think they're saying hi to somebody else. You then realize later that they were indeed greeting you, and you ignored them.

The teacher asks you the answer to a question, and you haven't the slightest idea what the answer is.

Still not understanding something after a teacher explains it to you, and having to ask them again how to do something.

Walking through the hallways in between classes, and making awkward eye contact with random people.

I had to stay behind for school one day for detention, and when It was over, I realised I forgot my bag, so went back to my locker in my form room. I walked in to see my form tutor and a fellow student making out on a desk! I made my excuses and left school as fast as I could!
