general media Favorite characters outside of MLP?

So, we all like characters from MLP FIM, in fact, we got multiple of favorites, from main, background, villains, side, the list goes endless, oh, and my favorite is Rarity by the way. 

 

However, here's an interesting mix, I apologize if this has been done before, but besides MLP, what other characters do you enjoy or love just as much besides the ponies?

 

If you guys have noticed or seen me, my main favorite character along Rarity is Wander from wander over yonder!

 

 

I could go endless as to why I like this guy so much to be one of my all time favorites in cartoons, but for the full story, head on down to my blog about him, and I recommend giving it a go, it's the best!

My Little Pony isn't the only "girly" thing that I like. I adore Legally Blonde. It is by far my favorite musical and one of my favorite movies.

Anyway, I really like Elle Woods. I thought she was a well developed character who didn't feel the need to change who she was even though most others told her to.

Isaac and his various alternate personalities:

 He plays video games, Is a cat lover, and is fascinated (and terrified) of religion. Just like me (minus the terrified part). He's very sympathetic having been abused and mistreated all his life. I also really like the way the game tells you it's story through imagery and in game symbolism leaving it very open to interpretation. Letting you draw your own conclusion about Isaac, and what his other selves are like.

 

 Plus, there's an item in the game called the my little unicorn horn, which makes you invincible. So my headcanon is that he's a brony.

Usagi Tsukino. Here, we have a normal 14 year old school girl, who is suddenly designated guardian of the earth. Add on top of that the fact that Raye was constantly second guessing her at first, and even said that she deserves to be the leader more than she does. And she constantly had to deal with scary powerful monsters, while still trying to live her life. She gets such amazing character development, we see her turn from a spoiled brat who only cares about pigging out and meeting boys to someone who has a deeply sincere heart, and would give everything just to keep her friends safe and happy. She cries a lot, but that's only because when a friend dies, she is deeply saddened by their death, because she felt such a strong bond with them. She becomes even more sympathetic when Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune fake being her enemy, even to the point of killing her closest friends, then suddenly revealing their intentions right before dying and leaving Usagi with nobody else, except the Sailor Starlights. And even despite all of that, she refuses to seal away Galaxia. Chibi Chibi transforms into a sword and begs her to attack Galaxia, but she refuses. In the end, Galaxia was defeated not with force, but with Usagi's healing light. Her hope helped Galaxia's star seed return to her.
