Can anyone recommend any good GBA RPG's? I liked Lufia on the GBC and I like that kind of RPG for lack of a better term casual/easy rpg. I like retro rpg's that aren't taxing but have great music and animations. (Other system recommendations welcomed).

Have you ever played any of the three GBA Castlevanias? They aren't strictly RPGs but they have many elements of them and are relatively easy, particularly Aria of Sorrow.

Can't say I have. I wanted to try some of the castlevannia's at some point. I'll add Castlevannia of Sorrow to my list (I tend to list all my games to play as I review games on my YouTube channel and it makes it easier to keep track).

Pokemon Red Rescue Team. I'm playing through the one for the DS right now, and I'm getting the newest one in the mail sometime soon. One of my favorite series. It's less of a typical pokemon game and more of a dungeon crawler.

Aria of Sorrow is an excellent place to start. It was my first Castlevania (Besides the first which I had played when I was young) so if you find you like them then I'd definitely recommend playing more of the series.

All of the Metroidvania style Castlevania games are like that, though how much varies between each game.

Might have to check out your Youtube channel if you review AoS.

No guarantee on reviewing that but I've made a tonne of documentaries and review on retro games over time so I'd be surprised if you didn't find something to your fancy. https://www.youtube.com/user/comicconreviews

Took me thirty seconds to find a video game history playlist. Color me intrigued.

If you like what you see (and there is a lot of it, good god am I obsessed with retro games) then please let your friends know.

In any case, I'm off for now so have fun. ;)

Golden Sun series tho, they are the best, easy enough to get into too I feel.

The Pokémon games are great too but you might've played them already.

If you want a really great GBA RPG though, there's Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, that game was a large majority of my childhood. All the SNES era Final Fantasys(along with a 1&2 compilation) are on the GBA too if you want them.

Aside from the remake Final Fantasy 1, 4, 5, and 6 (all of which are easy mode for whatever reason), Tales of Phantasia is good, as is Summon Night - Sword Crafter's Story 1 and 2 are really nice.

My current list:

Castlevannia of Sorrow (GBA)

Pokemon Red Rescue Team (GBA)

Summon Night: Swordcraft Story (GBA)

Summon Night: Swordcraft Story 2 (GBA)

Not bad.
