The Daring Do books in particular are a great inside joke, just due to the fact that they exist. Otherwise, I'm sure they're decent stories. I know what I'm getting my friend for his birthday. He isn't aware that those books exist, and I'm not going to tell him. Amazon does a great wrapping job too.

I love these hard-cover books! I already have the 'Journal' as well as the companion book to the show. Easily some of the best merchandising for me.
