Create a Super Smash Bros. moveset for a pony!

(Note: I'm not sure where to put this, so I'm putting it here, since it's MLP-related.)

 

Thinking up fake SSB movesets has always been something I do when I'm bored. So, I decided to let you guys do it as well.

 

If you can't think of a full moveset, just Special moves and Final Smashes will do.

 

Here's mine, to start. This moveset takes a lot of inspiration from "Daring Don't," and I've provided screenshots for some of the moves. However, since this wasn't enough to fill the whole moveset, I had to make up some of the moves (they don't have pictures).

 

 

Daring-Do

 

 

Standard moves

 

A (neutral) - left hook

A combo - punch barrage (Daring gets on her hind legs for this one)

A + forward/back (tilt) - kick

A + up (tilt) - helmet flip (Daring tosses her pith helmet upwards a short distance, then catches it)

A + down (tilt) - drop kick

A + forward/back (smash) - buck

A + up (smash) - uppercut

A + down (smash) - circular sweep kick

 

Dash + A = flying kick

 

 

Aerial moves

 

A (neutral) - air kick

A + forward - roundhouse kick

A + back - air buck (not as powerful as ground version)

A + up - air uppercut

A + down - falling kick

 

 

Special moves

 

B (neutral) - Twister (Like Mach Tornado, but Daring can't move while performing it)

B + forward/back - Helmet Toss (Daring throws her pith helmet like a boomerang; the brim becomes razor-sharp)

B + up - Wing Rush (Daring flies diagonally upwards quickly, holding out her hoof)

B + down - Helmet Guard (Daring holds up her pith helmet; It blocks projectiles)

 

 

Grab/Throw

 

Z - Whip (can grab opponents or latch onto the edge of the stage)

Grab + forward -  (Daring simply tosses the opponent overhoof)

Grab + back - (Daring tosses the opponent over her head with the whip and slams them to the ground behind her)

Grab + up - (Daring throws the opponent up a short distance, flies directly upwards and strikes them, then lands)

Grab + down - (Daring jumps vertically a little, spins, then slams the opponent to the ground directly below her)

 

 

Dodges/Misc

 

Standard dodge

Dodge roll (Think this, but on the ground)

Air dodge (Looks exactly like this)

Crouch

Jump

Double-jump (Daring flaps her wings, giving her several extra jumps)

 

 

Final Smash

 

Helmet Barrage (Daring warps around the stage at insane speeds while throwing her pith helmet [it has a razor brim like in her forward special], then lands, shaking the whole stage.)

Daring Do's Final Smash should really consist of her punching a panther in the face. Nothing can top that feat of awesome.

This thread deserves more love. ;-;

 

Pinkie Pie (don't think I'll be able to come up with something for everything, but let's see ^_^)

 

Standard moves

 

A (neutral) - flank bump

A combo - shaking her tail

A + forward/back (tilt) - hoofy kick (just one kick)

A + up (tilt) - Gummy attack

A + down (tilt) - (Pinkie puts down a tray of cupcakes)

A + forward/back (smash) - Party Cannon

A + up (smash) - jump rope (swings it three times)

A + down (smash) - Pinkie Twister (she stays in one spot, though, but other fighters can be drawn in into the attack)

 

Dash + A = running backwards attack

 

 

Aerial moves

 

A (neutral) - Kinda like this

A + forward (holds cake in front of her)

A + back (her tail twitches)

A + up - tail spin

A + down (Pinkie thrusts Gummy below her as a meteor smash)

 

Special moves

 

B (neutral) - Rubber Chicken (hold down B to swing four times, let go to send it flying across the stage; can bounce twice)

B + forward/back - Cartwheel

B + up - Cannon (Pinkie jumps into a cannon that shoots straight upwards, the attack can be charged for extra height)

B + down - Cake Throw (throws two cakes; if used on ground, they fly forward until eventually falling, if used mid-air, they fly at a down-right angle)

 

 

Grab/Throw

 

Z - Hug (but faster than the gif ^^)

Pummel - hug tightens (again, much faster than in the gif x3)

Grab + forward - (Pinkie spins quickly while hugging the foe, and they fly away left/right once she lets go)

Grab + back (Pinkie jumps up and throws the opponent behind her)

Grab + up (Pinkie squeezes the foe so tight, they shoot upwards)

Grab + down (Pinkie rolls on the spot while holding the foe, and they get sent upwards when she lets go)

 

 

Dodges/Misc

 

Standard dodge- she moves to the side of the attack, and pulls this face

Dodge roll

Air dodge... no clue. x3

Crouch

Jump

Double-jump- she flips, and confetti appears

 

 

Taunts

 

Up

Left/right

Down (without the hiccups)

 

 

Final Smash

 

Mirror Pool- The Mirror Pool appears next to Pinkie, and she enters it; many versions of her then emerge and either run or jump in a random direction for ten seconds. Touching any of them damages opponents.

Twilight Sparkle

 

Standard moves

 

A (neutral) - Telekenetic book hit

A combo- Magic Discharge

A + forward/back- Parasprite Summon

A + up (tilt) - Bright Light

A + down (tilt) - Downwards blast

A + forward/back- Tail Wack 

A + up (smash) - Uppercut

A + down (smash) - Awkward Dance

 

Aerial moves

 

A (neutral)- Energy attack from friendship is magic part 2

A + forward- Tackle 

A + back-  Headbutt

A + up- Lightning Shock (similar to what trixie used in boast busters)

A + down- Owlicious

 

Special moves

 

B (neutral) - Energy Beam (Twilight fires a pink blast of magical energy at her opponents, you can press once for a more powerful yet slower beam, or you can press multiple times for quick,rapid and weaker blasts.)

B + forward/back - Stun Spell (fires a white beam of energy that works like ZSS's standard special and allows to momentarily paralyze your opponents.  The higher the enemy's damage is the longer the stun, but there is a damage cap like Lucario's aura so to make it not OP.)

B + up - Teleport- Works exactly like Mewtwo's up special

B + down - Magic Bubble (Twilight surrounds herself in a magic bubble such as when she did in the return of harmony, and can absorb projectiles to heal damage.  Doesn't cause damage to opponents.)

 

 

Grab/Throw

 

Z - Magic grab (uses telekinesis to grab enemy)

Pummel - magic shock (uses her magic to shock the opponent)

Grab + forward - (Twilight dashes forwards while levitating the foe, and lets go causing the target to go flying)

Grab + back (Twilight magically throws the opponent behind her)

Grab + up (Twilight throws the opponent upwards using her magical grip)

Grab + down (Twilight throws the opponent downwards)

 

Dodges/Misc

 

Standard dodge- she moves to the side of the attack

Air dodge... Jumps away from the attack

Crouch: Book Scrunch

Jump: nothing fancy

Double-jump- she flaps her wings and like charizard and pit has 3 jumps

 

 

Taunts

Fire Twilight (from Feeling Pinkie Keen)

Final Smash

 

Alicorn Magic- Gains all the alicorn magic in Equestria and transforms with having the celestial mane she had in Twilight's Kingdom and fires a rainbow blast of magic at her opponents.
