How do I put an image for my signature?

I made a 600x100 signature and I went to settings>signature. I saw the text thingy to type but I didn't see a button to post a picture. I clicked all the picture-like buttons but none of them open up a file telling you to pick a picture as your signature. What do I do? Please help!

Usually what i do is use photobucket then i just copy the image link and post it in my signature i think only the avatar pic is the only one you can upload directly from your computer

The easiest thing to do is to upload it to an external site such as imgur first. Then add it by clicking the "add image" button (the green square-ish thing, located just just below the font color and emoticon options).

Then you're going to want to put the image URL into the text box
