Flint and steel

A flint and steel would probably be the bet tool for that job.

 

however you never thought about if you were stuck on and island?

 

If it were me i would have:

- Bow : 5 arrows

- 2X reals of 100 meter Polly twine

- Knife and/or Machete

- Flint and steel

- 1X 1Ltr canteen

- 1X empty bottle (No less then 500ml)

 

that is if i was stuck on an island.

 

though in reality, family, friends, Brothers and my mobile to contact them...and that is at a minimum.

Music, definitely. I listen to it every day and I've done so for as long as I can remember. It's really nice because it can get you through so much. It can make you feel happy and pumped for something, and it can also make you feel sad. I just can't see my life without it, and it really surprises me when I find out that some people don't listen to it regularly.

I loves me some Bach.  But really...  I guess I could go without music.  In the past, I actually went without some amenities and some arguable essentials (not by choice lol).  I lived somewhere without hot water or a working showerhead / faucet in the bathtub (before the faucet crapped out I took ice cold showers in the winter).  A place with boarded up windows, a blanket of spiderwebs on the kitchen ceiling, a gaping hole in the roof, a living room where the floor near the wall got saturated when it rained, gaping hole in the bathroom floor (hey, I can see my backyard from here!), numerous non-functional electrical outlets, unspeakable plumbing issues, etc...  But hey - I had internet!  And ponies, actually; pre-FIM stuff.  And although I've no intention of ever enduring a situation like that again, I can theoretically go without a lot of things / endure some pretty lousy conditions when I have to.
