Troubleshooting: Deleting Statuses

Now, I feel as if I'm a fairly experienced member at this point, and I kind of know my way around the forums exceptionally well. But as of recently, I've had a small problem I'd like to receive some help with, if some may not mind.

 

At times, I'll be in a rush or hurry to find a certain topic because I may have a post for it or something, and accidently post it as a status.

 

I know, I know, I suck. But when this happens, I usually hurry myself to my profile to delete it, except when I do...it's still there. Then I look like a dummy for posting a topic title as a status and not deleting it when I realized I made the mistake. Lately, I've been locking them since they just won't remove themselves.

 

So, help me out, please? I'll try to be more careful with this in the future, but right now I'd just like to figure out how to fix this issue. Thanks in advance! (\

Hi there @@Adorkable . this has actually already been answered by Moony. For ease, I'll quote it here for you.

 

The tech admins are currently working on changing the functionality of status update deletion. Currently, clicking the delete button puts the status update into "hidden" mode. Only mods and you can see it. This may change at some point in the future, but for now don't worry: the status update is deleted as far as you're concerned.
