Apple Jack needs more love. Yeah Hasbro gives her some attention but My Little Pony Friendship is Magic needs ,more episodes around Apple Jack. She is my 2nd favourite pony and for Disney Fanatic loves Apple Jack and she does need more attention. So hear me give some love to all pony s !  -_- I speak for nearly all of us Apple Jack feels like this   and we do not want that or Ashley Ball (voice of Apple Jack and Rainbow Dash no idea how she can do it!) Anyway, it's probably true that Applejack has historically been the least popular Mane 6 pony, but that's been changing a lot this season. She's gained a lot of fans, including me. And there are quite a few outspoken AJ fans on here. Sugar Cube, Anilewe, Lightwing come to mind among others.

Applejack might not have a lot of credit for her good episodes, but she still has a lot of fans to back her up. Not only has she grown so much as a character, she has really learned more from her mistakes even with her flaws.

Actually, Applejack had veeery good season and a lot of fans seem to admit it and like her more:P I still see some hate towards her, but if you think about it, it's not like other characters are loved by everybody. Some people will like AJ, but hate RD and some will hate AJ, but love RD. It's how it works. She has fans, who are always ready to defend her. She has artists, who are creating amazing fan arts or writing interesting stories about her. After season 4, everybody who still thinks that she's a background pony must be just plain stupid.

 

And don't get me wrong, I'm always first to say that she needs more love, but she actually gets a lot of love even if her fanbase might be smaller compared to others.

Even if Applejack wasn't the least popular of the Mane 6, I would be satisfied. Of course, there has to be one least popular one, but there have been far too many occasions where I happen to choose that one.

I think Applejack is awesome. She's my favorite singer of the mane 6. Also, Season 4 has made me like Applejack a lot more than I used to.

 

Anyways, I don't know how Popular Applejack is around the world. I do know that she's apparently very popular in Japan. (Rarity as a cow is popular too. Whaaat?)

Ya know, I've started to like Applejack more and more this season. I think Pinkie may be slipping down a few slots and Apple pony may be rising one or two. She's just been epic and cool and has great facial expressions!

The good news Applejack is, she built a solid momentum in season 3 with great supporting roles and even better main roles and has continued this through season 4. There are still a lot of people that think Applejack is the "boring one" and that sucks but she is starting to get more fans. Right now although I have plenty of issues with season 4 but as an AJ fan myself I am really enjoying the way they have been writing her lately.

Since the Season 4 started,i didn't stopped from seeing a great increase on Applejack and Rarity love.

 

But I think personally that Applejack deserved more to win some love.Don't get me wrong,i love Rarity too,and I loved them both even before Season 4,but Applejack had lots of reasons to need love

-She was considered the most Boring character of the Mane 6

-Since Season 2,she had to get rid from a very infamous joke,the Best Background Pony -_-.Luckly,it nearly dissapeared nowadays

-She had the bad luck of been outshined by,listen me here,a Backgroud Pony!(The Last Roundup(S2))

 

 

Nowadays,on April 20th 2014,Applejack fans are lucky of being well received,just like Rarity ones.

 

Oh,amd a fun fact.This season,the Rarijack shipping outnumbered Appledash shippers as the most popular Applejack shipping

Nowadays,Applejack is receiving a lot of love,that she should've had received a long time ago (2011-2013)

On this year's March Madness Tournament,we saw how Applejack was crowned 2 time as the winner(on the official tournament,and on the unofficial too )

Recent topic discussions and even a tournament held here have indicated a significant increase in Applejack appreciation. As for myself, she's always been second-best pony, but only by a tiny margin. Hasbro/DHX/whoever people currently want to blame for any perceived mistreatment or disregard for Applejack have been very good to her this season and even last season.

 

I'll take quality over quantity any day, though I'd say we've been given a fair bit of both.

See you guys at the World Cup. Applejack's got more pressure to succeed given that she has an easier group to deal with...

 

From my view, AJ's an amazing pony, and her Leap of Faith ep just showed that she lied because she didn't want to destroy Granny Smith's morale. A perfectly legit reason for me. I'm glad she grew as a character regardless, and that she's got more appreciation.

Why does Applejack have so many hate?  You can build a plushy of the Mane 6 at Build-A-Bear EXCEPT Applejack, there was a little packet of stickers in the greeting card aisle at my grocery store that had Twilight Sparkle, Rarity, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, PRINCESS CADENCE, but no Applejack, and even the toys at McDonald's have the Mane 6 INCLUDING Vinyl Scratch, but EXCLUDING Applejack! This is really bringing me down, man... No one seems to realize all of her great virtues and everything that's good about her... They just see her as some dumb, boring, incestuous redneck who's obsessed with apples! And lately, Hasbro hasn't really been doing much to dispel those statements about said supposed apple obsession! Yes, people, she knows a lot about apples! Yes, she mainly sells apple-related products! It kinda comes with running an apple orchard! It's her livelihood! But she's shown time and again that that's not all she cares about! She hardly ever even TALKS about them! And why do people find her boring? Is it because she doesn't have a mental breakdown every other appearance? Is it because she doesn't break the fourth wall and defy the laws of physics? Is it because she doesn't go around showing off, trying to show everyone that she's the best in every facet of life? Because she isn't demure and ladylike? Or is it because having a sane, sensible, down-to-earth, honest, loyal, hardworking, dependable, modest, believable, and sincere character is just so downright boring and lame that they couldn't POSSIBLY be interesting? Seriously, people, take a moment to evaluate her instead of just applying stereotypes to a character that's so apparently "boring"! I believe you may find that she's not quite what you thought at first.

I could type some long speech about how awesome AJ is, post 500 images to show my fangirling obsession, get on my soap box about how poorly she was treated by both the show and fans in the past, and how she still has a long way to come, but I won't. Why? Well one reason is found below, others have already said some fine stuff, and the direction the show has been taking AJ is a very welcome change (even bringing about past haters and creating many new fans of AJ), so I'm just going to save everyone's time and not do so. My love for AJ should be known around here by now I'd think.

Applejack just needs some more country brought out of her. She could have some old-fashion approaches to modern time problems. Maybe give her some moments where she comments on something with a reference to a time in her life or another family member.

 

Why not have Applejack learn to play a guitar and sing country songs? She can start out as annoyingly bad but gets better over time, then to a point where she can sing good for some moments and bad for funny moments.

 

I know this would just make her more stereotypical country.

 

Applejack and Rarity are both business ponies. So there should be some business related episode where they work together on a project or are both harsh competitors where they highjack businesses they were helping.
