Recently someone called Sweetie Drops on here started a thread called 

"Ads that drive you insane ?" about commercials/ads that you hate

 

And I couldn't think of one, I could only think of two that I loved and therefore didn't fit on the thread and I was just desperately wanting to share them so I’m starting my own thread xD

 

One commercial I love is the ones for Compare the Market, which has these 3D animated Russian Meerkats trying to end the confusion between the two websites “comparethemarket.com” and “comparethemeerkat.com”.

And the second one is a bit out-dated, but I love the old adverts I discovered for Cadburys Smash, which was instant mash potato: with these funny martians who are weirdly quite adorable.

If I see any MLP:FiM, Thomas the Tank Engine, Mario or Sonic commercial on TV, I go crazy because I'm a bit of a fanboy xD

What I find especially funny is picturing the process for this commercial to be produced... Just how would the marketing team explain this or the director somehow direct this? Awesome commercial, but I don't know if it was really successful in making me want to buy something.

All these commercials already mentioned by others are great, especially the one by ‘Learn English’ was hilarious. What a way to tell you to learn english!! Pure creativity by the video production teams behind all these commercials.  I have a lot of favourite commercials, including most of them by nike, some of the coke commercials and budweiser super bowl ads. There are many others, but can’t think of all of them now.

Simple as that.

 

If I looked for something to buy, I'll find it myself. I don't want to be forced to it, and the more they try to convince me I need something, the more I don't want it.

This is the most powerful and touching commercial I have ever seen in my life. It's four minutes long, but please, watch it completely to the end. It's worth it.
