Disabled student records bullying evidence, convicted of disorderly conduct

A 15-year-old Pennsylvania teen produced an audio recording of kids who were bullying him and sent it to the school administration. Only ONE problem: the principal called the police in. Administrators had threatened to slap him with a felony wiretapping charge before agreeing to lower it to disorderly conduct, which the District Judge found him guilty of.

Absolutely disgusting.

I hope that the kid gets some closure for this disaster. And that the incompetent principal, teacher, police, judge and the bullies get their just desserts

Considering this happened right in front of the teacher, the kid obviously realized no one else cared about what was happening to him, so he took things into his own hands, and gets blamed for it.

The world is just devoid of common sense.

@,@,

Read posts before talking, the charges against him have been dropped, the student has the governor on his side

I did, it doesn't change the fact the school jumped the gun here and the bullies got away.

There is no justice in this world. I've known this for years.

If something sh*tty happens to you nowadays, you have to pick yourself up, floss your a$$, and move on.

Gg that the chargers were dropped.

The world's bullied Would have seceded from the union.

Wow! That kid's a genius! To record the bullying, that's so smart!

And as for the charges,I know they were dropped, but he shouldn't have charges in the first place.

If anyone should be charged,it should be the Administrator for being a dick.

A wiretapper?! How DARE this kid do what the NSA has been doing to every American since the Bush administration?! He should be burned at the stake!

[insert professor Farnsworth meme about not wanting to live on this planet anymore that I'm too lazy to google]

I'm not surprised. If an adult bullies another adult, there will be criminal charges filed against the bully. If a kid bullies another kid, nothing is done to solve the problem. Children don't have the same rights as adults in the U.S., and that is why they are vulnerable.

Seems like I hear these kinds of things everyday. o_O

I hope everyone at the administration loose their jobs, they don't deserve to be here. Also, calling the police was intimidation, technically bullying the teen.

The education system really sux here. :/
