I've recently been playing the Sly cooper collection and I've come to really like a character named Dimitri Lousteau. He made a song called Greasy sweet and at the start he says " Show me your bling and let me shine you". What the heck does that mean? Any ideas?

I think generally speaking it's not supposed to make sense. Dimitri is supposed to be one of those characters who is so "hip" and trying to sound cool all the time by doing his own totally original thing...at the cost of making any sort of sense.

 

Or it could be a euphemism for beating the crap out of you.

 

Unless there's a non-violent connotation to it in which it could mean something more lewd.

 

It's been awhile since I played the Sly games.

I've played that game for years, it was one of the first playstation 2 games I ever played.

 

 I still don't understand half of what Dimitri's saying. I think it's just total nonsense.

Dimitri was amazing and that game was amazing. And Discordian was right, the quintissential point of that dialogue is that he's trying too hard to be cool and uses euphemisms that make no sense.
